Holiday rentals with lake access in Rideau River

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

Our stay was amazing. Simply put the lake house us relaxing, with everything was easy. The home is clean with everything we needed for the best mini vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the comfort as did we for having a space we can travel that is inclusive to dig parents. The lake house is a home, away from home that provides a space to visit with family who live in this area. The scene out the windows I pure magic. Candice's place on Black lake is great. Very quiet but close to both Perth and Westport if you need to go shopping or want to go out for a meal. You are a few steps away from the lake so ice fishing/fishing was easy and convenient. The place itself has everything you need and is nicely laid out. The rocking chairs in the middle of the cottage look out onto the lake through the huge windows and is a great place to just sit and relax. I expected the wifi to not be the greatest since this is cottage country but it was fast and more reliable than my wifi at home. Overall, a great place and my wife, daughter and I had a great mini vacation to start March break.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

Beautiful location! The house was very well stocked. The hospitality was 10/10. Our group had a great time. One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had!

We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

Sam was a great host and quick to respond to our questions. It was a great location with walkable food and shopping. I would stay there again and recommend it to others travelling there.

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. Kelly’s place is a beautiful cottage right on the water. Spacious, bright and modern and what stood out to me was how very clean everything was, which is super important to me. Cozy, comfy beds, lots of places to sit and relax. I highly recommend a visit to Kelly’s cottage!

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! The cottages were exactly as described and perfect for a fishing weekend with friends. We found everything we needed and the setup with the bigger cottage allowed for comfortable dining and hangout space for everyone while the smaller cottage provided extra sleeping quarters for all. The property was very clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

Amazing 3-day stay! Perfect, peaceful view with a quiet environment. The lake is beautiful with clean water. The house is in great condition and well-equipped - we enjoyed cooking there. The owners are very nice. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! We had gloriously warm, sunny weather every day, with not a drop of rain. It was just the two of us so we opted to stay in the beautiful, cozy boathouse. It had everything we needed. The summer kitchen is basic but very functional and served our needs. The boathouse is very private and the surroundings were quiet. Just be ready for the stairs down from the main house/parking area. They’re steep but well lit, with lots of handrails. There’s a very cool screened building halfway down too. The swimming is fantastic - it’s deep off the dock and the water was really clear. Every day we swam, lounged on the dock, had coffee on the balcony, took afternoon naps, BBQ’d, and enjoyed drinks by the campfire. A truly restful vacation. James was a great and very responsive host. We highly recommend staying here!
