Family-friendly apartments in the Hallertau (Niederumelsdorf near Siegenburg), in a quiet location and close to the A93. An ideal base for trips to Regensburg, Ingolstadt or Munich. In Siegenburg (4 km away), you will find restaurants, shops and an outdoor swimming pool. For families, there are bicycles, toys, table tennis, table football and an outdoor play area available. The Jura Chalet is located directly across from Eggersberg Castle. Here you will find a cafe and a restaurant as well as a beautiful spacious castle garden. Very close by are the following tourist attractions: Rosenburg, Plankstetten Monastery, Weltenburg Monastery, Befreiungshalle Kelheim, Danube Gorge and many beautiful hiking trails right at your doorstep. Riedenburg offers shopping facilities such as a bakery, butcher, restaurants and cafes and is about 3 km away.

The Schlössl is also the starting point for various cycling and hiking trails.

The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood about 2 kilometers from the city center of Regensburg. The beautiful historical old part of the city can best be reached by bus (3 bus lines headed for the city are only a couple of minutes from the apartment). Regensburg university is a fifteen minute walk away. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom. The fridge has a freezing compartment, WiFi and a TV are included.

This unique place has a style all its own. We wanted wanted to make something attractive out of the old, dilapidated building from the 1950s. Above all, the large garden with old trees and the beautiful location near Regensburg motivated us to redesign the house individually on the old foundation walls.
