Short distance to Kiwi, sports shop, pub and restaurant. There is a safe and nice walking path right from the cabin. Otherwise, there are many activities that take place during the year. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer/dishwasher. The bathroom contains a combined washing machine/dryer. Gas grill and wood burning stove are available. Apple TV and fiber.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Faråsen treetop farm! A unique experience in beautiful treetop cabins 10 meters above the ground. This treetop cabin is called Mjøsgløtt and has been named because of the amazing view. Here you can not only experience life in a tree top cabin, but you can also visit the nice animals we have on our farm. We also sell meat from the farm that can be delivered to the cabin and grilled at your private gapahuk by a cozy pond. Here the children can swim and use the rowboat. There are also nice hiking trails for walking, skiing and cycling.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the røysa, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can completely relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Røysa is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. Welcome to Lillehammer's perhaps most stately house with apartment over three floors. Newly renovated in 2020 in one of Lillehammer's oldest farm buildings dating back to 1659. From the balcony you have an amazing view over Mjøsa and the apartment has sun from sunrise to sunset. In the apartment there is a new large kitchen, dining room with table space for 8 and a large living room with a nice sofa and large TV, bathroom and guest room. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with French balcony and a super view.

If you cross the road you come straight to a beautiful park area by the lake, Næra. Here you can fish, swim or realax and enjoy the sunset. We also offer our guests kayak and canoes to rent for free. In Næroset it is also great opportunities for outdoor hiking and cross country skiing in the winter. Only 20 minutes away is Sjusjøen

Beautifully situated log cabin 10-min drive from the center of Lillehammer. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
