Holiday rentals with lake access in River Tamar

We had a relaxing trip, the house was great for our two families with kids. The pizza oven was definitely the highlight and the view was gorgeous Kitchen had more than you need and everything was well stocked.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay. My review echoes many of those before me.. we wanted for nothing. Talia is a wonderful host and offered us flexibility around check in and out times which was really appreciated! Bath was divine and the daily visit by all the chickens very entertaining. A most lovely stay and highly recommend!

It was the perfect spot for our crafting / sewing get together. We all had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay immensely. The host greeted us personally as well as said goodbye - a really lovely touch. Beautiful fresh roses on the dining table; also a lovely touch. Thank you Liang and John.

Was perfect fir the 3 of us, working a few days in Deloraine- the solar passive house design was brilliant backed up in the evening by a fire.

Outstanding, attention to detail, environmentally conscious and the best pantry ever! The fresh bread and fruit, along with fresh coffee beans were the icing on the cake for an incredible stay. What a home! Will be recommending and returning

Overall, this house was pretty good. It's not far from Launceston, and having supermarkets nearby is very convenient. The backyard view was especially nice, and my son particularly enjoyed feeding the hens outside in the morning. The only issue was that the mattress was a bit too soft for my preference, but that might vary from person to person.

We had such a lovely time staying at Eugene's place. The location is absolutely beautiful, serene and peaceful. Surrounded by nature, wallabies and kookaburras. The wallabies sit right outside the windows, which was such a treat! We also loved that the bath on the back deck looks directly into the sunset. The house itself was perfectly equipped, with great cookware and appliances for easy meal prep, and plenty of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. There was a bit of dust around which often comes with a country home with a long dirt driveway. Overall we had a great stay, the kids are already begging us to go back.

Perfect place to relax and unwind,

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable property for two nights, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the serene ambiance and breathtaking surroundings. The private jetty was a standout feature, offering the perfect spot to unwind and relax and enjoy the fishing. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit, listening to music with the outdoor speakers under the starry sky – a truly magical experience. The well-appointed kitchen was a delight for anyone who enjoys cooking. It had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, and we appreciated the high-quality appliances and thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep and we enjoyed stunning views from almost every room in the house! Highly recommend.!

We loved our stay, not long enough but that is entirely our own doing! The surrounding area is lovely, but the house and yard is just made for relaxing and not moving too far either so there really is no need to plan too much outside of it all. We loved playing games in the kitchen, roasting marshmallows outside, feeding (and just hanging out) with the very sweet chickens and ducks, and walking down the water front. The beds are so comfy and everything so well thought out (a fan of the Robert Gordon crockery!) it really is a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

Comfortable and clean accommodation in a serene, rural setting. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had such a special stay here! The kids had space to roam and explore, the fire was a very cosy element, and the outdoor bath was a huge hit! This little cottage had exactly everything we needed and we loved every moment!

Janmaree got a really lovely boathouse which is situated just next to the pier! The view is amazing and when it comes to the sunset time it becomes absolutely stunning! The location itself is very good for us as we were looking for a place close enough to the Lowhead so that we can get back easily after the penguin tour, and also not too far from the Launceston Airport for our flight in the afternoon the next day. And the gin distillery just opposite to the house is also a gem!
