House holiday rentals in River Thames

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

Emily's eco house is quite simply stunning, with a beautiful kitchen and log burner, making it a perfect place to relax. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, while providing us with privacy. Although we only stayed one night we really felt we had enjoyed a luxurious break. A fantastic treat to beat the winter blues!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Wow is all I can say.... The photos didn't do this amazing property as much justice as it deserved!! Booked for 3 nights for My daughters Hen party with the family .. Marika was so helpful letting me chk in earlier so I could prepare the Villa for my daughters arrival.. She was readily available if we needed her.. We had just the most amazing stay and DEFINITELY will be booking again ..( Luckily for us we only live 10mins away) ...

Lovely property, met our needs well for a large family get together with young children. Well equipped kitchen, gorgeous views. The site itself had all we needed for a great weekend and we added shooting and archery at Cotswold Range next door which was within walking distance and fab afternoon. The spa on site was lovely and the outdoor pool fresh! The kids loved the indoor pool. The on site restaurant was great for our first night there. All in all fabulous.

A great relaxing place to stay with friends and explore. The pool-spa was really good.

Really excellent. and extremely comfortable. 15 minutes taxi to the centre of Winchester which has a great selection of restaurants and bars. We would definitely return, maybe in the summer and take advantage of the swimming pool.

We stayed for a couple of nights close to Christmas, wonderful stay in this beautiful period home, with the village looking very pretty and festive. Having use of a sauna and pool, while it was frosty outside; made our stay particularly enjoyable!

We stayed at Suzanne and Tim’s apartament for a family gathering over Christmas 2024 and everything went very well and smoothly! They helped us with any type of requests, showing a strong level of flexibility and caring for our stay. The apartament is very large, and extremely well equipped to host so many people. I definitely recommend it !

A group of us stayed at Brett and Cheryl's listing for my sister's hen party and it was the perfect location (so close to the action!) and had all the amenities we needed for a fantastic weekend. Brett and Cheryl are excellent and responsive hosts and have been excellent at communicating from the word "go". Really recommended this quirky property for a weekend away!

The house was very very nice and pretty large which we needed and in a superb location. Very nice quiet street but also very close to Church Street and all its amen. The kids playroom basement was a real bonus for our kids. Kaz was very friendly and really helped us out by letting us drop our 4 suitcases when we arrived in Stoke Newington otherwise we would have had an awkward few hours! She also let us move into the house early which was also very appreciated. Overall it was probably our best Airbnb experience to date.

Back from a fabulous weekend at this beautiful, quirky, country farmhouse. I booked it to gather with friends & family for a special birthday & it exceeded our expectations. Bursting with character, we loved the way the house is dressed, a lovely mix of old & new. It was extremely well equipped & the welcome basket was a nice added touch. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated & the unusual layout didn’t cause any problems for us. Our only issue was the main hub of the house was chilly & we couldn’t seem to get the heating to work properly but that said it was unusually cold temperatures during our January stay and the lounge room & bedrooms were nicely heated by electric heaters. We enjoyed a nice walk around the church next door, the famous yew tree is well worth a visit. We would definitely return, maybe for a summer retreat next time & make use of the lovely garden.

Robert was a great host and answered any questions during our stay promptly and was most helpful. The house is tastefully decorated and was very clean. I can’t fault anything during our stay. A lovely place to spend a few days.

Mark was very responsive. We had an issue on New Year’s Day which was addressed very quickly, and fairly dealt with subsequently. Great location and great fun.

Jane kindly messaged us to say the barn was ready which was before the stated check in, this was really helpful. The barn was located in a beautiful area with walks from the doorstep, the local village of Penshurst is very pretty with a great pub the Leicester Arms. The barn had everything we need and a lovely courtyard garden which we sat out in each evening as the weather was good. A great property and would definitely return. Thank you!

Family stay for 5. Superb super comfortable and pleasant house. Conveniently located, close to the Underground and access to central London in a few stations. Great communication with Ben.

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, nice and warm, and exactly as listed. A quiet location and dog friendly. Thoughtful host who left a little welcome basket of bits and had good communication. We intend to rebook next time we’re back in Brighton.

Victoria was really helpful and quick to respond. The house was perfect and couldnt ask for anything at all. From a list of restaurants and takeaway menus to clean and bright accommodation and easy parking. Its a beautiful place to stay and I would certainly love to stay again if I need to stay in the local area again. Thank you for everything.

Genuinely a hidden gem and not given enough credit from the photos. Feels like home, really big house. Amazing for families with kids. Lots of toys and a yard to spend some time when it’s sunny. Sarah is super friendly and responsive.

Just got back from an amazing stay in London! The location was perfect—right on the Elizabeth line and only a 5 minute walk to the station. The house was clean and cozy, and the radiator kept us warm day and night. Oliver was super nice and even brought us some veggies, fruit, and bread! He was quick to reply to messages and gave clear directions to the house and downtown. Overall, it was a fantastic time, and I’d definitely visit again!!! <3
