The Villa and the out buildings of "Mereta Castle” date back to 1400. They are surrounded by beautiful greenery, within a hectare of private olive grove, and are located on a beautiful hill overlooking a natural amphitheatre with views down to the sea. We are located 1 hour from Milan, at the beginning of the Piacenza hills and very close to the famous medieval village of Castell'Arquato, along the route of the Via Francigena. Our Border Collie Leo is very good with people and children but does not like the presence of other animals, especially male dogs and cats. For this reason, we can only reluctantly accommodate female dogs. A 50-meter private road leading to the banks of the Trebbia is also available for guests.
