Holiday rentals with a patio in Roccalumera

there is a big problem in this stay: it lasted too little! We stayed one day inside this lovely apartment, my cousin and I had a great time! I have been around the world for years thanks to my work and I have visited and met billions of owners and I have to say that people like Mr. Pippo and the whole group, are rare people to find. A welcome worthy of a 4-star, super clean and fragrant house, cared for in every detail, a courtesy and kindness unbeatable. We found breakfast, water and excellent seasonal fruits (including their gardens). When we wanted to rent bikes, they were promptly made available to us, with the message before using them. In the evening we unexpectedly received excellent homemade pizza by Mr. Pippo and all his delicious family. We felt like family, really! We recommend it to everyone, treat them with care that are rare to date people like this.

Very good reception and flexible in the schedule, very new and well decorated apartment with everything you need, a very nice patio, quiet, well located.

We stayed here for a week and had a great time. When booking, we misunderstood each other with the landlords, because this apartment does not have a 100% separate bedroom. The single bed, separated from a partition, is in the same room as the double bed. This sleeping situation was not conceivable for us, so Marco, Ambra and Michelina found another solution super quickly and rebooked us to another apartment their house. Both apartments we met are absolutely clean, look like in the photos, are very centrally located, you can see the sea from the balcony and the landlords are always reachable and super friendly. If you don't mind that the child /third person sleeps practically in the same room, this apartment can book without hesitation. It is a great place to stay and you will be welcomed with Limoncello! We would mist definitely visit again.

Andrea's place was excellent for the place as well as the host. The space is cozy, comfortable, clean and with all the comforts. Andrea has been more than punctual, quick, specific in the explanations and advised us some places to go and eat totally wonderful! She even left us to eat some mandarins from her tree! We have found ourselves at home, we highly recommend it.

We had a fun time at Emanuele's! He welcomed us upon arrival, giving us several suggestions of places to visit in Catania. The apartment is large and superb. We were able to enjoy the two balconies and the two air-conditioners were greatly appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet, close to services and markets. There is a bus stop for Taormina a 5-minute walk away, and the central station is 20 minutes away, which is very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Gennaro and his family are great and very kind hosts. Flat is located in clean and safe modern part of town just 20 minutes walk from Piazza del Duomo, trough authentic streets, old buildings, parks and local markets. AliBus Connection with Airport is perfect, AliBus station is just in the front of the building. Central bus station is 10 minutes walk down the streat. Local food stores and Lidl are located next to the building. Restaurants that Gennaro recommend are close and affordable with good food on the menu. Definitely we will come back again, highly recommend!

House with a beautiful view, the area is just a short drive from the center of Catania, but it is still well served by beaches, bars and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There would definitely be a few things to do at the apartment but for the value it is right to give a 5-star review.

Robert is great host, provided all necessary details about place and local shops or restaurants. I can truly recommend this place. Everything was as it was written. And the view was insane. In love with this place and whole city. Communication with Robert was great. Hope that we will be back there :)

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

I would highly recommend Demetra's place. We spent 7 days in her studio apartment. Everything is as presented in the pictures. We really enjoyed the small balcony. The neighbors were very friendly, and there were a lot of cats on the street—lovely cats! We fed them all, and people were very grateful for it. We made some nice connections with locals in Catania. It's a very good location, close to everything in the city center. As walking lovers, we really enjoyed strolling to the train station. Catania is great; the coffee is amazing, the gelato is delicious, and the food is wonderful! There were desserts for breakfast every day! The distances between cities and beaches are worth it, taking a maximum of 1 to 1.5 hours. Public transport is great and always on time. We will definitely come back after the New Year! ✨️

We had a wonderful stay in Gaia's apartment. It was even bigger than the photos made it look and in a nice, quiet part of town. My friends arrived before me and Gaia was there to do the checkin with them, which was very kind as it was before the designated check in time. At one point there was an electricity outage in the flat and the neighbouring houses, but Gaia and her husband were very responsive and came over immediately, and even brought us candles too. Many thanks for being such a welcoming host Gaia, and letting us stay in your beautiful apartment!

fantastic apartment with all the facilities you need for it to feel like a home

Carla was a very welcoming and helpful host. She gave us lots of recommendations and advice, and her and her sons offered us lifts to the supermarket and metro. The place was lovely and peaceful, and the pool was great for days when we wanted to stay in and relax. We found that public transport wasn't very reliable and the roads were not very pedestrian friendly, so, although we managed, I think it would be useful hiring a car if staying in this area. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and Carla was a great host!

Angela was a wonderful host! She met us to guide us to the parking space, was so friendly and responsive whenever we needed her and even dropped off dolci halfway through our trip. We will definitely be back again!

Mrs. Tiziana welcomed us in the best possible way. She gave us all the necessary directions to the place and made herself available for every need. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. The house is in perfect condition. Super-equipped, fresh and equipped with all the comforts. Air conditioning, garden, private parking and much more. We can only congratulate and recommend the property to those who want to stay in Milazzo. Thanks again Tiziana.

A very kind host that gave us a lot of information and was always avaliable. The place was clean and had a lot of basic supplies to cook and water in the fridge when we arrived. The only downside was maybe the paperthin walls where we heard both constructions and the neighbors. The pool was also closed for the season which was a bit sad. On the plus side the ocean is beautiful and the village very sweet and close to a lot of nice things. All in all a lovely stay, we recommend it!

Giuseppe is a fabulous host. He was very kind, attentive, full of great tips. The apartment was a less than 15 min walk from literally everything and it had all I needed for my stay. I had a wonderful stay in Catania.

Great accommodation, good quality bedding, good location to go to Etna, small touches that make you happy, I recommend this accommodation.

Ottavio's apartment is just as described. Spacious and well-kept, beautiful rooms with very high ceiling and vintage tiles. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There is also a laundry room and a nice terrace. The center is easily accessible on foot or by metro, while it is difficult to find parking on the street because the area is quite busy. There are no shortage of supermarkets, bars, bakeries.

One of my favorite air BnB experiences ever! It has it all: close to everything, gorgeous views and so much space. The place is modern with so many amenities and breathtaking views. Close to the cable car so you can get down to the beach in minutes and just around the corner walking distance to the main town center. Never needed a car. It’s close to the bus terminal too! The hosts were so responsive and friendly!! 10/10 stars

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place. Great view from the balcony, a private oasis from the craziness of Taormina, yet only being a couple of minutes walk from the centre was amazing. Pool was great, kids didn’t mind it being a little chilly in April. Even got to see Etna erupting whilst staying (from town centre not our balcony). Cannot recommend more highly.

We had a great stay at Giuseppe’s. The apartment was beautiful, we had everything what we needed there. We loved the location as well and Giuseppe is such a thoughtful host! We will definitely come back when we’re in Catania. Thanks Giuseppe for the wonderful stay!

Situated perfectly in the middle of the city, yet tucked away in a little corner. Everything was walking distance. So many restaurants and bars. Lots of steps up to the apartment so not for everyone but suited us. Such an amazing bonus having the roof terrace. Etna was spewing lava on our first night and I’ll never forget that sight! Incredible. No one in Catania was bothered, it happens a lot. Etna was easy to visit we booked a tour, definitely a must. The fish market is very ‘real’ and very present. Sunday offered a flea market. The property was private, comfortable (great bed), clean and had a real Sicilian character. The best restaurant we found was Catania Social Club, a couple in the busier hub weren’t as good. But a great stay and a great apartment x
