The bothy used to be an old Stable, then potting shed for Old Birtle, a grade 2 Listed farmhouse dating to back 1672. A great pub 10 mis walk away. 4 miles into bury with its market and major transport hubs, M66, M62. Perfect for weekends, for walkers, cyclists - we are on the edge of Beautiful Ashworth Valley. We accept longer stays for people moving house etc

Topsy Turvy Cottage

The cottage is situated on a small Pennine hill farm. It is in a quiet, secluded area at the end of the farm lane but is only a mile from the small town of Littleborough which has supermarkets and shops. Trains from Littleborough connect to Manchester and Leeds. M62 junction 21 is 10-15 min drive. We live in the adjacent farmhouse, guests will often see us around the farm. We are more than happy to interact and have a chat but respect those who want privacy. Sorry we do not allow pets.
