Holiday rentals with lake access in Rockaway Beach

The house was as described, I personally enjoyed the hot tub with unobstructed ocean views, the deck’s glass fence was a plus as we had a clear view of the ocean from the living room, which was the main reason we rented this house. Very short walk to the ocean can’t beat that. The fenced backyard allowed us to let the dog out worry free. She has plenty of towels for everyone to use without having to wash, plenty of blankets too. A grocery store is just a block from the house so no driving stress oh and did I mentioned the coffee shop across the street, my goodness we could see it from the kitchen window to check when was open. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep meals, and the coffee bar was a lovely surprise, also the grill in the back deck was great to have and had enough propane for our bbq. Enough parking space for our four.

Absolutely loved this stay. Highly recommend. The place is absolutely beautiful and a hidden gem. The views are breathtaking and so beautiful. Even right off 101 there was hardly any noise and it was so quiet and peaceful, neighbors were friendly as well. The kayaks and paddle board was a nice touch we had a beautiful weekend and explored the lake even getting in the water off the dock! I truly have no complaints besides the cleanliness of the hot tub it seemed like previous people who stayed got in with sand on them and didn’t clean properly before getting in so it left dirty residue, but it was still nice and relaxing. Plenty of towels which was amazing because we used quite a few when swimming and using the hot tub. The kitchen was equipped with literally anything you could think of which was amazing as we cooked most the nights we were there. We will definitely be coming back if possible as we adored it!

We absolutely loved our stay from beginning to end. Perfectly located for going North to Seaside or Astoria, or South to Tillamook and Cape Mears. The house has such a fun layout and was pristinely cleaned upon arrival. The outdoor porch swings, giant hammock and plentiful blackberries, apples and tomatoes made outside time super enjoyable. The house is very well stocked which was really nice, the little grocery stores closeby can be super expensive. We cooked mostly at home and had everything we needed from soups to pizza to baking cookies . Beds were super comfy. The projector and wet bar downstairs made movie parties a norm for us while there. We were there for some of the warmest days of Oregon and it's probably one of the few times you would desire AC but by cracking windows open and using fans provided, we stayed fairly comfortable. The variety of books was impressive and the speaker system you could hook your phone to made for some fun cleaning/dance parties. Thanks Dawn!!

We were over the moon about this airbnb! Wonderful bedrooms upstairs, kitchen stocked to our needs, awe inspuring setting and very suitable for my 70th birthday gathering with my family and 2 other Leo birthdays in our family. We brought 2 kayaks and really appreciated the use of the 2 that were there. We never had to contact the hosts but we were comforted knowing that they were always available. We really appreciate that they were in the wings, available if needed but not in our face at all. I would definitely come back should the need arise, and will be recommending this location to anyone who is interested in staying in the area.

This place is a gem—it’s even better than the pictures. The yard is fantastic for kids with plenty of privacy and space to roam. Our kids especially loved the huge sandbox, swings, and toys that were in the house. The house being within walking distance to the beach was an added bonus, and Melissa was responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for larger groups or families with young children.

Our stay at Jen’s was great! The kitchen was well stocked so we could make our meals easily and the location to the beach was ideal. The place was exactly as described and it made for a fun weekend away playing board games and relaxing out of the city.

Spent the weekend for our aunties 76 and 86th birthdays. The location was great, the house was super cute and very clean. Dog friendly huge plus. Kitchen very well equipped. The hosts thought of everything. The game room was a huge bonus as was the wagon for a walk to the beach.

We had a great stay! The house is right across the highway from the beach, easy walking distance. Close to restaurants and things to do. They had sand toys for the kids, a clam gun, fully stocked house, etc. Great place to stay!

A fantastic stay for a trip to the coast! More secluded location, but still minutes from the beach made for a very peaceful stay. Wonderful spot for a stay with kids ir dogs. Note that there is actually MORE space than is shown in the listing.

This place was perfect for us and our friends! We celebrated our engagement and had professional photos done at the old growth forest nearby. The backyard was perfect for our dog and having a bonfire with our friends and roasting marshmellows was the cherry on top. Awesome place to stay. Definitely will be coming back. :)

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

My family and I took a trip to Rockaway, and we fell in love with the area. Since the weather was perfect, we decided to look for a place to stay for the night so we wouldn't miss out on enjoying it. I found Yi's place located exactly where we wanted to be. Yi was very responsive and friendly. The house is cozy, and the living area is very comfortable. What we loved the most was the hot tub it was so worth it. Anyway, this is a perfect house in the area, you can walk to the coast and to the stores if the day is nice and you like walking.
