In the center of town you will find a modern bakery where you can have breakfast or get a piece of cake for coffee in the afternoon. A shopping facility is accessible in 2 minutes by car (Lidl). The beach is 20 minutes by car. (A20 and A19 are directly connected). Kessin is right on the Warnow. A boat and canoe rental can be reached in a few minutes by car.

Our detached vacation home was built as a vacation home for max. 4 guests (e.g. family with 2 children) built and furnished with love and care. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable with us and have a nice time with us. Please note that the tourist tax of the Baltic Sea resort Dierhagen is not included in the overnight price. You can pay the tourist tax directly upon arrival. You will receive the visitor cards from us.

Vacation in the countryside

If you want to spend your vacation in the countryside, you've come to the right place. On 4000 square meters you will find peace and relaxation and numerous seating options. For the little ones, a trampoline, a table tennis table, a digging box and a play tower are available. Our pets (ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and a dog) are waiting for loving caresses. Our small guest house can accommodate four sleeping units.

If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of tourism and still want to spend your holidays near the beach, you have come to the right place. Our small, simple but cozy cottage is located in Wichmannsdorf, near Kühlungsborn. The cottage is perfect for anyone who wants to relax and unwind and likes to look out of the bedroom window into the countryside.

We are at home here where the sea lives, watching wide beaches and the seagulls as they sail in the wind... just for fun. Slowing down is the magic word in a maritime environment, strolling and shopping at the weekly market every Saturday with regional organic products. A fresh fish roll and your feet in the sand and just look across the sea to the horizon...

Kägsdorf beach 1

House with garden, beach approx. 1400m - walk 15 min or cycle 4 min. 8 km wild beach without resort tax between Kühlungsborn (3km) and Rerik (5km). Kägsdorf is a dreamy village between fields and forest. There are bicycles and a cart for kids available. Bookings July and August one week minimum!

Ferienhaus Dorfidyll is located in a village about 15 minutes from Rostock. It is about 30 minutes to the beach/ Baltic Sea. In the 15-minute radius is e.g. the Vogelpark Marlow or the Karls Erlebnishof in Rövershagen. 🍓 We are happy to welcome you to our beautiful holiday home.
