Despite the central location, you will stay here quietly and surrounded by greenery. The balcony is suitable for both breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening, or simply to relax with bird chirping. The extra-wide window seats invite you to enjoy your morning coffee/tea overlooking the Schlossplatz, or directly at the castle. The apartment is 80 m².

The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

The apartment is on the upper floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Klein Elmau - The forest idyll in Elm

If Austria is too far for a short recharge of nature, tranquility and a log cabin atmosphere, our (fully fenced) Klein Elmau is waiting for you. A log cabin in the middle of the Elm nature reserve without street noise, but with a lot of forest, tranquility and romance. After a walk in the woods, you can snuggle up and warm up by the fireplace, in the bathtub or in the cozy wingback chair on the glass-roofed terrace, from which you have a panoramic view of the Elm.

The apartment with attention to detail is a former separate hay barn in the Harz foothills. In the village there is a pizzeria and a courtyard café with breakfast and fresh rolls. The apartment is in the center of Baddeckenstedt with very good access to public transport, the A7 & A39 highways and all shops for everyday needs. Handmade tiny house for two people. Right on the lake, with a large terrace and sauna. The house was built with ecological materials and lovingly furnished with solid wood furniture. It has a double bed 220 x 160, a couch, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and dry separation toilet. The house is easily accessible by train. Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk away.
