“The opening in the void is a corner of paradise. Ideal location to meet the best known destinations of the Upper Val Seriana, Presolana and Lake Iseo and to discover less known places, but rich in charm such as Valzurio. What about the house? Nothing is missing, starting with a breakfast that has nothing to envy of the hotels! Alessandra is a wonderful person.”
We believe discover is the goal of life so... why not sharing our place and meeting such amazing people from all over the world? We live in the Italian mountains: in the summer there is a nice-fresh breeze and in the winter we enjoy going to skii. Every day we can just take a walk in the woods and breathe, or running, cycling, swimming and relax in the sun. Come and try!
“Very welcoming house, well furnished and very clean. Equipped with everything you need. Nice to also find breakfast products. Giulia was very kind and helpful. I would definitely go back!”
This flat is on the top floor of the family house (we live on the first floor) and looks right over the piazza of the medieval town of Gromo, awarded by Touring Club Italy with the orange flag. You find yourself in another dimension, with the fireplace inside, and the true mountain life outside. From the café to the restaurant, from the bakery to the greengrocer. All main services are at a few steps. And if you plan to come with public transports, I come pick you up at the train station!
“My husband and I spent New Year's Eve at Alessandra's place and we were over the moon about our experience. The apartment was spotless, with good WiFi, timeless decor (we loved the fridge, Alessandra), and a helpful booklet of local tips. The place was very warm too, which was much appreciated on the cold winter nights. The tiny village of Gromo was charming and gorgeous, with good ammenities -- including a couple of incredible (!!) restaurants -- friendly folks, and easy access to hiking. As some people have mentioned before, church bells do go off every half hour, but these didn't bother us at all -- if anything, they added to the charm. Thanks for a great stay!”
