Holiday rentals in Roper Mountain

I had a wonderful time at Sue’s house! It was perfect for ladies celebrating a birthday!

Larry and his property were so wonderful. I came as the only adult with 4 girls ranging from age 9 to 17 and I believe they loved it every bit as much as me. Larry talked with the girls and let them know where they were able to explore and what they could have access to. Our plans were to hike and hunt waterfalls, but bc of the fires, two of the parks were closed so we have to change plans. Larry was very helpful with suggestions. When we needed and couldn't find the air mattress, Larry was quick to answer and help out. The property was just so wonderful and I'm grateful for our time there.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Excellent location central & walkable to everything good downtown. Place was easy find & well lit up to the entry door. There are lots of garages (with EV chargers) in immediate proximity so parking & charging shouldn't be an issue. Room wonderfully comfortable with amazing bed/pillows. Water pressure in shower was great, and place was spotless. If you're a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs, host has excellent whitenoise machine by window if some noise doesn't bother. That's the cost of being near such a lively area. We'll definitely book again when needing accommodations in the area.

We loved staying here! Only problem was that it went too fast! Very cozy and felt right at home. Many different spots to hangout, the spiral staircase leading to the game room downstairs was just so cool and fun, and lastly - BEAUTIFUL views all around. Can't wait to visit again.

We loved Rebecca's place! We have 3 kids, and it was perfect for them. They ran around the yard, played on the zipline, went fishing, played games in the woods, etc. My wife and I had time to relax because the surroundings entertained the kids. The house is clean and big. There was plenty of room for a family of 5. I went to Brevard College in the early 2000s and like to spend time in the area every year. I know the area well, and the cabin's location was perfect. We felt very isolated (which we love), but were close to town. It is the best location we have found yet, 10 minutes from downtown and the same distance to Pisgah and Dupont National Forests. We spent our days in the forest and relaxed at the cabin at night. If you don't know the area, this is an ideal location. It is secluded but close to all of Brevard's activities. Oscar Blues Brewery is also very close. a great place for the kids to run around while the adults enjoy a pint. Thanks, Rebecca and Troy, we will be back!

This place is an absolute stunner! We had a small business trip to get away in the mountains and this was the perfect house! The views are out of this world. The house itself had everything we needed. Luanne was so kind and proactive during the entire process. I can’t wait to stay here again! 10 stars!!!

We were a group of 4 adults and two children (1 and 3) and found the size good for us. The toys, crib, and child’s seat made a quick 2 day trip much easier because we didn’t have to bring as much with us. The home was clean with plenty of towels available for everyone. It is an older home so the rooms are smaller (more than 6 or so in the living room would be quite crowded). We appreciated the abundance of hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms. We played some ping pong which we enjoy but recommend that the items be refreshed as they are in poor condition! Overall, it’s a good value and we would stay again when traveling with children.

Chris was a super host ! Super responsive and you can tell he cares that his guests feel comfortable and supportive. The lake house was just wanted I needed to relax and recharge. I will be returning! Thanks Chris !
