Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house has a large well equipped kitchen and a dining area that comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. The house has 4 bedrooms with double beds. Two toilets and one shower. The house has a large terrace with nice patio furniture and a barbecue grill. The cars can be parked right outside the house. Our summer house is ready to be enjoyed.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.

Cozy, very personal and charming cottage. Location in Rørvig - right between the harbor and the beach. Up to 11 beds (6 divided into three bedrooms in the main house and 5 in an isolated annex with its own toilet), fireplace, table tennis table, barbecue, Terrace, fireplace and coziness. Don't expect a house in perfect condition, but a place with room to spread out freely for both children and adults. Please note, we have a dog. Your dog is also welcome.
