Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rowan County

Very nice property. Accommodated our needs extremely well! Newer home! Pictures and description was accurate. Easy keyless/digital entry. Clean and centrally located to the university we were visiting. David was very proactive. Clear instructions! We would reserve again!

A wonderful stay! The place was clean, neat, organized, and very spacious. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend others to as well.

Since this was my first BNB experience I was a little skeptical of the process, but it was seamless. We arrived earlier than expected so I contacted Jeremy and he was very accommodating giving us early access. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of cookware to use if you wanted. The only thing that was missing was not having a kitchen table for any meals or snacks. The house was clean and we felt at home which is exactly what we were looking for.

The only thing we would change about this beautiful place is it would be nice to have tvs in the bedrooms. Thank you Jeremy

Stayed while taking the little guy to Polar Express. Had a great long weekend and was an easy 25 min to the train. Coldest night of the year and loved it. Would recommend arriving during the day but we managed at night. Looking forward to visiting again in warmer months.

I wish we could keep this little cottage a secret spot all to ourselves. It lacked nothing and we felt right at home. We were there only a few hours when we decided to immediately book it for our next planned visit. Our children felt right at home and everything was very child friendly. Even the neighbors (goats and donkeys) came close to the fence for our children to see them in the morning. Wonderful experience!

Spotless house! Large, fully fenced yard which was perfect for our dog. The house had everything we needed to get through the week and the neighborhood was very clean and quiet. Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I would stay here again when I'm back in the area.

Had a great stay at the lake. Right on the water so the views were amazing, the house felt bigger than I thought, on a dead end road so very quiet at least in the winter and only about 10-15 to get to town for supplies. Would stay again.

Easily walk to restaurants and coffee. Only note is that you are located right downtown, so there is traffic and you can hear people talking on the street outside. Not a huge deal, but something to note. Place was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

The location is perfect for easy walking distance dining and browsing with street parking readily available right by the outside door. We had some excellent BBQ, baked goods and burgers and I was thrilled to find several places that had excellent menus for celiacs—Bridget’s, Sinfully Delicious Bakery, Mama C’s Mac n Smash and Times Square Pizza. The bed was comfy, the closet huge with lots of hangers, the bathroom was nice and the full kitchen was nice to have. We enjoyed having our own quiet little apartment!

We felt right at home. Very peaceful and you can see a ton of stars at night. Sharon was such a great host. Sitting in the outside patio in the morning was the perfect way to start our day. Close to everything you need but far enough away from the city to relax and unwind. The pool was fun and refreshing. Definitely recommend staying here!

This place is very comfortable, great location and well stocked. We’d stay here again when visiting Salisbury.

We were on the hunt for a quiet, serene spot with a lakefront view to celebrate Valentine's Day, and this place was perfect for us! 😊 Even though the weather wasn't the best, we still had an amazing time and were super happy with everything it offered. John is an awesome host and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We'd absolutely love to return in the summertime and fully enjoy the lake! 🌞🏖️

This apartment in Salisbury is my go-to every time I visit—and for good reason. The location is ideal: close to downtown restaurants, shops, and cafés, yet quiet and relaxing. The apartment itself is charming, spotless, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches that make it feel like home. Sue is a fantastic host—quick to respond, kind, and always helpful. One of the things I love most is the sense of community; I’ve made wonderful new friends during my stays and often reconnect with familiar faces. There’s something truly special about this place—warm, welcoming, and filled with good energy. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who genuinely cares, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to come back!
