Each apartment in Villa Aikkila has three bedrooms, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a sauna with its own large terrace. The large windows in the living room and kitchen offer views of the beautiful scenery. The apartments are stylishly and well-furnished, and the apartments have all the necessary equipment down to the smallest details. The apartments are approximately 80 square meters in size. There are 9 beds per apartment. A beach sauna, lean-to and traditional hut, as well as a campfire pit, are included in the price. Linens and cleaning are included in the price.

The cottage is near Rukatunturi about five kilometers in the direction of Kuusamo, so it's perfect for those who appreciate the tranquility but those in need of Ruka services. Rukan Ski-Bus runs from the proximity/side of the cottage during the ski season. Attention! Seasonal Christmas, New Year, and Weeks 8-15 rental only Saturday-Saturday. Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.
