If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

Great stay for the second time at this lovely summer house!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

It is beautiful and restful place near lake. The house had everything you need for relaxing by the lake (boat, sauna, grill), it is well-equipped house. I totally recommend it.

An unforgettable experience! The house is built in a typical Finnish style, including a large terrace, sauna, kitchen with everything you need and three beds. There were 5 of us, and the stay was lovely. Anne welcomed us very warmly and explained everything to us at the beginning of our stay. The fishing boat and fresh eggs from the hens were a real plus. We'll be happy to go back!

Nice cottage, quiet place. The cottage was heated and everything was nicely arranged. A small sauna with great steam. The beach was quite far away and missed out on the open, but otherwise a great location.

My family had an amazing weekend getaway at Elena's cottage by the lake. The house is beautiful and had all the amentities we needed and more. The natural surrounding are beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We would definately stay here again!

Great house and communication thanks

Treasure in the lap of Lake Saimaa - atmospheric, beautifully decorated log buildings and good amenities. The gentle steam of the sauna, swimming with the cleanest feet, and the perfect hangouts and dining spaces crowned the experience. And Marja-Tertu's heartfelt welcome with clear instructions made me feel welcome in a summer paradise. We enjoyed it and recommend!

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Great place in your own privacy. Great beach and beach sauna, lovely sun terraces. The main cottage was a little cramped for four to stay, but the beach sauna comfortably had more sleeping places. Communication was smooth.

Wonderful cottage. Beautiful lake. Close to the border, easy to find and at the same time very quiet. There's no water at all. Otherwise, the kitchen allows you to fully cook. It won't be a problem in the summer. Just like the toilet. The cottage is a cottage. Sleeping is good, new. Warm floor. Sauna without frills. Sneaking well. Really nice fireplace and area near it. Cozy. Great budget solution. The nature is wonderful. A. And the main thing! Very nice communication. Juha is a hospitable host. Thanks a lot!

A wonderful place to relax, everything you could want and expect from a cottage in one package. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very cosy and soulful place, where you start to feel like you're on holiday from the first step to the terrace. There is everything you need for perfect stay. Beds are comfortable, living room is new and very nice, with beautiful view on the lake and pines. Few things to make this place perfect - the smallest renovation in outdoor spaces, the smallest tap to wash hands or fruits, and some kind of shower.

The cottage and its equipment matched the description. The place was picturesque and peaceful, with good steam in the sauna, and a great view of the lake as a bonus. In beautiful weather, we spent time outdoors and dining on the deck.

The host was incredibly nice and helpful. Going out of her way to assist me, when I realized I had booked the wrong dates while already on my way. But she can arrange the accommodation for me immediately. Many thanks for her. The surroundings were beautiful, and the unforgettable sunrise views made my stay truly special. Additionally, having access to a boat for borrowing added a fun and adventurous element to the experience. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. If you are finding a lakeside cottage in Finland, it is a great choice with no doubt.

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage. It offers an authentic rustic Finnish experience, complete with a sauna, nearby lake, and a beautiful forest filled with berries and moss. My dog especially loved playing in the spacious yard. The only thing to note is that during the cooler October weather, it took a little time to get the furnace heated up to a comfortable level, so keep that in mind if warmth is a priority. Overall, it was a relaxing and tranquil escape with all the charm of nature right at your doorstep.
