The 110-year-old Kauri Bushman's Cottage is self-contained but attached to our house. It sits next to the stream, surrounded by native forest. An outdoor cast iron bath. A swing chair by the stream. A dining table and a hammock on the covered deck. Views to the secret garden.

Fully renovated guest suite just 2 minutes walk from the town basin and Hundertwasser. Guest suite has a private entrance with car-parking space and a private patio featuring mountain and river views. Both the main bedroom and sitting room are equipped with Smart TVs. Our self contained apartment is a leisurely 10 minute walk into the city town basin centre including the fabulous Hundertwasser museum. and right on the doorstep of lovely bush and river walks. This is a great place to explore Whangarei from or very handy if you are visiting for work. There is off street parking for your car and private access down 9 external stairs to the spacious unit.
