The Berghüttli: Glowing Swiss Hut in the Forest

The Berghüttli ("little mountain hut") is a Swiss-inspired hut and farm stay surrounded by National Forest in Goshen, VT (pop. 168). A completely private escape—no other structures in sight, just woods and quiet. With a queen bed loft, a double bed bedroom and a pull out sofa, the cabin sleeps up to 4 people. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there is a charcoal grill outside. High speed fiber optic internet will keep you connected. Max 2 pets allowed.

Bright, secluded, second floor one room suite with private bathroom overlooking Mill River and across a covered bridge. No neighbors visible, but near town. Fly fish in the back yard, sit around the firepit, enjoy fall foliage, and hike and ski. Swinging bridge and Appalachia long trail very nearby. Close to three ski resorts: Killington, Okemo, and Pico. Dogs are welcome and loved, with plenty of room to run. Comfortable queen-sized bed and couch.

It's easy access to downtown Rutland to enjoy yoga studios, restaurants, and coffee shops.
