Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ryedale District

Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

We had a fantastic time at the nook for our honeymoon! It was a peaceful little getaway, where we felt secluded from the world while relaxing in the hot tub with the complimentary prosecco (thank you!). We loved being able to walk into the town through the park, go to the many cafes and restaurants with lots of vegan options. Ideal for a couples getaway.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit my elderly father in law, after a long drive it was a lovely place to stay, clean with everything you could need. The garden is completely dog proof which was important to us and it was great to sit out there in the sunshine. There’s a great walk just at the end of the street for Dogs, the village has a great selection of shops/ bakery/restaurants. We’ll be booking again for our next visit

Great apartment in centre of Whitby and less than 5 minutes to the beach. It was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Watersedge Lodge, which has superb views of the valley and the nearby canal. There is a range of seating outdoors - perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The appartment was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with good utensils/pans for home cooking, and we were grateful of a fridge and a freezer. What made our visit extra special was the hosts. They were quick to respond to messages and very understanding and accommodating of our needs. They are kind, considerate and supportive. We highly recommend Watersedge Lodge. It’s a perfect bolt hole for those needing a quiet retreat, or if you want to explore walks and bike rides on the nearby canal, or farther afield in the Yorkshire Dales. There are also lots of cultural and historical adventures to be had nearby in Leeds, Bradford, Saltaire, Keighley, Haworth and Skipton. Finally, as mentioned by all the guests…. The Yorkshire Tea loaf is a winner! ❤️

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely host, Dionne, who made us feel instantly welcome. The property itself is nestled in a tranquil and beautiful location, offering breathtaking landscapes that provided the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the sight of horses and sheep grazing peacefully in front of the estate was a real treat. We particularly enjoyed the evenings, setting up a barbecue and later a cozy fire under the vast, starlit sky. The stargazing was simply incredible in such an undisturbed setting. This Airbnb offers a truly perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace, natural beauty, and a welcoming atmosphere. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and would highly recommend this gem to others looking for a tranquil escape.

We had a lovely stay at Water Hall Farm, and enjoyed the wood fired hot tub and fire pit - we were even able to grill our dinner over the fire pit! The view is overlooking a lovely cow field, and the area was very quiet and peaceful. The only complaint we have it it would have been nice to have some complimentary tea and coffee packets out to use.

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend the hub tub as made it even more special. zero stress from booking to leaving. Well worth every penny.

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

Sean was a great host, very communicative, responsive and friendly. The lodge was lovely, very clean and cosy, and perfect for a getaway for 2. The surroundings were peaceful and well maintained/presented and we never heard a peep out of other guests so it still felt private. The website was very helpful for local reccomendations, which made it easy to find somewhere for dinner. Being able to self-cater to an extent with a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, and private bbq, was excellent.

When we turned up we were greeted and taken to the cabin to check in. Rias father was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, everything was explained to us and anything we should need we just had to ask. We absolutely loved our stay, it was such a cosy cabin and very much needed for some time away, it was in a lovely peaceful area and just a short drive away to the local shops and restaurants 😀 We will certainly book to stay here again. This was a perfect off-grid weekend away, the cabin was beautifully made and full of thoughtful additions like blankets, fleeces and marshmallows for toasting. It was extremely peaceful and we enjoyed paddling in the stream and looking at the stars. We hope to visit again

Lovely quiet and peaceful place to spend a spring weekend. Cosy and well equipped. Small but spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed sitting out on the swing seat listening to the birds and the river and hearing nothing else. Lovely walk into Whitby over the fields and back on the cinder track. Perfect.

We had a wonderful few days staying at the cabin, enjoying the idyllic garden and being immersed in nature. The natural swimming pond had clear water and the showering in a hot outdoor shower before and after was lovely. We didn't get to use the sauna because I had a dry cough so we will just have to go back. Wills's attention to detail inside and out was spot on. It was hard to leave the poolside deck where you could watch sunlight dance on the water, blackbirds washing in the shallows and pond skaters darting about. The cabin itself was well equipped, with a wonderfully crafted interior and cosy with views straight on to the garden and pool. It was completely restorative physically and visually. Berrywell felt like a pocket of paradise and a special find. Thank you
