Our property is located in the middle of the evergreen Alpujarra, the fertile southern slopes between Spain´s largest national park Sierra Nevada (just over an hour´s drive to the ski resorts) and the coast (40 minutes). La Alpujarra is blessed with beautiful hiking walks with wild flowers, forests, rivers, waterfalls, springs and the medieval Moorish irrigation canals known as "acequias".

Welcome to Cortijo Al-Andalus, a rural house completely renovated by the best local artisans, preserving the art and beauty of the Andalusian era. Buenavista is a spacious country house with a private swimming pool set in beautifully landscaped gardens. As its name would suggest, it has amazing views of the countryside and the Sierra de Lujar mountains. Buenavista is next to Jasmin Cottage (also available for rent), but is entirely separate from it. Buenavista sleeps 4 adults and 2 children and is a perfect base for exploring Granada, the coast and Las Alpujarras.

The house's greatest selling point is its location, which offers breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada National Park and the Canales Reservoir. It has excellent connections to the centre of Granada and to the Sierra Nevada ski resort, which is just a half-hour drive away. Pets are allowed, but there is a €40 surcharge per pet payable separately from the booking; please check with the hosts.
