Jeff's place is beautiful, spacious, clean, and very well-appointed. As others have said, the views out the big living room windows are gorgeous! Jeff was a fantastic host, answering questions and checking that everything was ok by text, but staying unobtrusive. We came for a "workcation" in the country, and found the wifi to be phenomenal. We wholeheartedly recommend Jeff's place for a relaxing stay in the Vermont mountains!

The place was very clean, there was everything you needed. View was absolutely stunning with mountains in the back and horses to the left off the back patio. Jeff left little touches of chocolate and wine, which was a very nice thought. Absolutely amazing. I’d definitely go back there!

We had a wonderful time at Jeff's cottage, perfect place to come back to and hang out after a long day of skiing. It's really stunning inside and very spacious. Jeff left some wine and chocolate which was a nice touch. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. This place will be at the top of my list next trip to the Rutland area - thanks again Jeff!

Absolutely gorgeous place, l was impressed by the pictures in your profile and even more when we got there. Cleanliness to the extreme, spacious, fully stocked with needed amenities to ensure a great stay and great choice of coffee, chocolate and wine which we stopped by to get ourselves a bunch of after we left. Will definitely try to go back, perfect place to completely unplug from the world and get away from work stress. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to go to Vermont. Few friends and family are already looking into it. Conveniently located and amazing view out every window/door.

Jeff has one of the nicest Airbnb’s and best value I’ve ever stayed at! They left very generous amenities including some eggs, milk, coffee, snacks! The house is absolutely beautiful with amazing woodwork a fantastic kitchen and two wonderful bedrooms. Jeff is also a great host as he was highly attentive and responsive to any questions I had.

Immediately upon walking into the home you can’t help but to admire the beautiful wood work and Mountain View. We were welcomed to the spotless home with a bottle of wine and chocolate. The house is perfectly located where you can visit the shops and restaurants in Rutland, as well as a short ride to the Killington area, but still have a relaxing escape. Check in was very easy and the host provided a great deal of brochures for places to visit. We enjoyed the house so much we requested to extend our stay one night. Jeff answered my phone call right away and was able to accommodate us with no problem. I highly recommend staying here, we plan to return ourselves.

Very clean, perfect location, plenty of room, very comfortable

Welcomed by chocolate and wine, we found the house open, lovely, spotlessly clean, and fully stocked with many amenities. The windows overlooking the deck to the mountains were terrific and the sunsets were magical! There was plenty of space for our five year old to play and spread out. The Christmas lights were so welcoming that Santa had no trouble finding the house. Our son Lucas loved visiting the horses next door! Close to shopping and Rutland restaurants. This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The mill is absolutely stunning. We didn't go out too much during our stay - we didn't want to! The space is magical. Sleeping right next to the river was so peaceful and the views from each floor are impressive. Ron and Linda are amazing hosts. They had great suggestions for places to eat for lunch and walking trails right around the mill. They also put together a super delicious breakfast. You have to ask Ron to do a vinyl concert for you! He is incredibly knowledgeable about music history and will wow you with the amazing sound system on the main floor. We had an outstanding experience. I can't wait to come back here in the summer!

We had a wonderful wintertime trip to the Kingsley Grist Mill. The setting is even more impressive than it looks in the pictures. Ron and Linda are incredibly interesting, generous people and went above and beyond to provide recommendations for things to see, do, and eat in the area, as well as arranging for us to stay an extra night when an ice storm interfered with our planned departure day. We really enjoyed the vinyl concert that Ron puts on, and the wonderful breakfasts! Ron and Linda's greyhound Sid is such a sweetheart and we loved spending time with him as well. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Ron ad Linda had excellent recommendations for local food. Though we had a lot of trouble with the wifi, our stay in this beautiful place was fulfilling. The breakfast was delicious too.

Staying at the Kingsley Grist Mill was one of our most relaxing Thanksgiving holidays. Aside from spectacular views, well-furnished rooms, and proximity to local places, it was Ron's and Linda's hospitality that made our holiday a truly memorable one. If you visit, check with Ron if he can show you his vinyl collection and put on a show. We were treated to some great music (Boston, Queen, etc.) and to some very interesting music history with which Ron was involved. We're definitely planning on visiting again, probably in the summer though. Thanks, Ron and Linda for making our stay ultra-comfortable !

Awesome cabin design. Tons of land to explore, comfy and super clean! Nice yard and perfect deck for late night relaxing. Only gripe was hot water and water pressure in guest bathroom was not equal to that of master bathroom. But overall great place to stay if you’re looking to peacefully relax in privacy without interruption from neighbors

Our visit was perfect. My husband, 5-year-old daughter and I had planned to eat out for several meals but we ended up cooking and staying at the cabin because we loved it so much. We kept joking that we should make an offer to purchase the place. The cabin was clean and modern yet had a rustic look. And although we were not promised these things, it was nice to find aluminum foil and coffee filters because I forgot to pack them. The cabin was cozy and there were no drafts. There were plenty of clean towels. The bed was comfortable. In fact, we really hope to return soon.

This cabin rocks. We had everything we needed for a group shred trip to Killington. It took us about 30-40 minutes to drive to the mountain. The place is cozy and private, a great place to refuel between days of riding. The record player with a box full of Sinatra albums on vinyl was the icing on the cake. 10/10 would stay here again.

A great little cabin in West Rutland. Very private and quiet. Everything was newish and clean. I had great time staying there and would repeat. Check-in and check out are very easy and quick. Joe and Nicole where very responsive with communication.

Our family of 3, including a 6 years old seasoned airbnb-er, enjoyed every single moment being in Jane and Fred's house. They set up the place nice and warm before our arrival. The kitchen has everything we needed to quickly whip up a scrumptious dinner after a long day skiing down the mountain slopes. In the evening, we loved to cuddle around the fireplace and played Scrabble. The communication is excellent. The response to our questions are always immediate. After knowing that I had trouble making the coffee maker work, Jane brought me fresh brew coffee in a thermos the first morning we were there. She retrieved the machine to find out why it was not working. That afternoon when we came back, a brand new coffee maker was sitting on the kitchen counter!!! We felt at home and cared for during our stay. Thank you, Jane and Fred! We will soon be returning!!!

Just a wonderful apartment. Definitely somewhere you want to stay for a few days at least. 25 min from Okemo, 35 from killington. Located on a beautiful farm. Very comfortable.

My fiancé and I have been making weekend trips up to Vermont for a few years now and have stayed at a number of Airbnb’s to date. Our stay at Jane and Fred’s just jumped to the top of our list. The space was super cozy and well-appointed. It had everything we needed and then some. Would be great for a longer stay with plenty of space as well as a washer/dryer in the unit for convenience. Hope to make it back again sometime soon !

Nicole has thought of every detail to make her Apartment 1 unit comfortable. It’s extremely tidy. She is a responsive and conscientious host. We appreciated the AC running when we arrived with 90 degree heat. Her location was perfect for our needs and it was a great space to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. Thank you for all the snacks, bottled drinks and a stocked cupboard.

Lovely Stay. I didn't originally notice from the photos how Christian the decor is. We thought it was funny, but if bible quotes on the walls, towels, and shower curtain make you uncomfortable, be warned. But it was very clean and comfortable. Nicole even left out snacks, and there were staples in the fridge. Such Christian generosity! :)

Great spot! Highly recommend over one of the local hotels. The food and drinks she left were perfect. Nicely decorated with little vignettes of antiques that were interesting to look at. Thank you, will stay here again if available for the next time we are here!

Nicole’s place is immaculate and chique, it’s very spacious and easily accommodates a small family or two couples. It’s very close to shopping, city center, and the mountains. Nicole strives to make her guest for comfortable and special. Will definitely book again.

We stayed at Lisa’s place to bookend some spring skiing at Killington (about half an hour away-very easy). The apartment was tidy and very cozy, and the views of the farm during sunrise and at night under the full moon were beautiful. Unfortunately we never got around to using the hot tub. We cooked breakfasts and dinners while there, and the kitchen had all necessary dishes, but we were glad to have brought a few of our own baking dishes. We always look for a dog-friendly Airbnb, and Lisa has friendly dogs (and other assorted farm animals), but I would only bring your dog if you’re confident in its behavior around other animals. This is definitely an in-law apartment attached to the main house and as such, it’s not super private in terms of sound, which worked fine for us. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

The host Lisa is very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless upon arrival and Lisa was very fast in responding to any questions we had and checking up on our group.

The experience staying on a farm was so unique, my boys said that was the best AirBnB stayed at so far. Lisa was super friendly. She introduced the horses to us and even let the boys ride a little in the barn. Can't ask for a better place to stay for our ski trip. Highly recommended!

Wow, what an incredible stay my husband and I had at Lisa’s horse farm. My husband was stationed in Killington for work for the month of January. My 3 month old daughter, our dog and I joined him for 2 weeks there and this is where we stayed. First of all, our lodging offered such Beautiful views of the forestry and mountains. Not to mention, looking out the windows we got to see the horses, goats, sheep, chickens, donkey and dogs. It was a dream and such a different world than what we are used to living, being from NYC. Lisa offers a 2 bedroom place. It has a dining area, living room area, kitchen and 1 bathroom. The place was PERFECT for our family. The kitchen and living room is very open so I was able to cook and keep an eye on my little one as well. The unit is the basement of Lisa’s house converted to its own apartment. Honestly, you wouldn’t even know it though. You very much feel like you are completely separate. Also, We were able to walk around the farm and even a horse trail with the dog. We had access to HULU, Netflix via the TV. The place was immaculate when we arrived and we were blown away at what we were getting for the price. Lisa was so kind and did our laundry 3 different times for us. If we needed anything she was able to provide. She even brought us farm fresh eggs! Also she has artwork around the unit we stayed in and sells for a very affordable price. My husband and I bought a drawing and a painting because our stay was so special. The drive to mt. Killington is just under 30 min. This stay was perfect. I’ve thought about around trip to Vermont probably every day since we have left. My husband and I have both talked about coming back and no question we would stay here again.

Lisa's place is wonderful! The view from the airbnb is stunning and it's a real Vermont experience with the horses, sheep and dogs around. She was incredibly accommodating and thought of everything and then some! We will be back for sure!

Barbara’s cottage is the exact getaway stay that you would picture when thinking about Vermont. Tucked away, yet still very close to civilization. Killington is close by as well. I highly recommend the cottage as well as her as a host. You will not be disappointed!

Great place even better view

Barbara's place was everything I was hoping for. It was a beautiful cottage with gorgeous views of the pond. While rustic, it was also incredibly clean. It was close to great hiking, and the town of Rutland was a short drive away. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time immensely.

Barbara’s cottage is very comfortable and is convenient to many places of interest. The setting on the pond is especially beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed using the kayaks one afternoon when the fall colors of the woods all around the pond made it a memorable experience. After a day of exploring central Vermont, it was a pleasure to return to such a perfect place and a good night’s sleep.

Marks place has everything you would need to have a mountain getaway. He was kind enough to stock the fridge with a few extras for me which was very welcoming. Close to town but very quiet and comfortable. Close to Killington for skiing. Would highly recommend Marks place for anyone going to the area.

Mark was very hospitable, showing us around the apartment and giving us some tips for the heat. The apartment was roomy enough for both of us. The bed and sofa were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room with the kitchen.

Loaded with Vermont country charm but plenty of modern conveniences! This was a comfortable place to stay for an extended weekend skiing at Killington. The full apartment was a home away from home to us, not just a place to sleep. Close to any shopping/restaurants you might need, and not far from the mountain. Mark was very helpful and responsive to our needs as host. We'd return without hesitation.

Mark and his rustic apartment were a great Comfy place for a ski trip up to VT. Quiet on a back road. We got in a little late and Mark was at the door flicking the lights on and off to indicate that we were in the right place. The place was awesome, close to rutland. The drive up to sugarbush at 90 minutes wasn’t bad and the drive the next day to killington was easy too.

Perfect for my friend and myself who only needed a place to sleep and shower. Bring laptop or iPad if you need a little pre-sleep entertainment. We used our phones and headphones. Other than that it’s a comfy little room and Alex was very clear and helpful. Convenient and cozy.

The place is clean and near the ski resort. There are amazing restaurants nearby. Alex is a great skier and I had him for to days to coach me on what to improve w my ski skills. The room is the only place being rented and not the whole place so I have to find another place where it is more spacious as I couldn’t possibly just stay in the room after skiing. Really awesome place for a group of friends. 25 min drive to Killington resort, and close to a Walmart. The apartment is nice and clean, lots of cooking utensils to use. Just keep in mind that of the room doesn’t have a door. Sean was helpful and responded quickly all the way and he is such a nice host! Highly recommend!

This is a great place for a home base for a ski vacation when you hit multiple resorts! Many vermont resorts are on the Ikon pass! Be sure to go to Sal's South -amazing pizza!

This place is an incredible value based on the amount of guests allowed and the last minute availability I found. The place was much bigger than expected and I imagine could easily support 6 guests. Paula was very hospitable and went above and beyond. The local town is minutes away, and Killington is an easy drive. My only annoyance was the noise from the street, which I got over.

Erik and Eli are great hosts! It took us extra time to get there because of weather and having to work full days before we left, but Erik and Eli stayed up and waited for us to arrive. They even made us banana bread with walnuts and chocolate chips which was still warm when we got there! They were kind and provided great tips for local places to go and things to see. We would definitely stay here again!

Great suite that is so conveniently located next to Killington.

Erik was very nice and gave great food tips. They where very quiet and felt like we had the house to our selves. No complaints but some people may be uncomfortable due to not having a door separating the entrance to the upstairs to the main floor other then a trifold partition. There are doors for the bathroom and bedroom though so you still do have your privacy, although I personality was fine with this I just thought I’d put it here for a FYI. I would stay here again :).

Good location for skiing at Killington/Pico

Rick is a responsive and organized host who made us feel welcomed from booking to check-out. The house is situated on a main road that is walking distance to the downtown Rutland area. It is a quick 24-25 min drive to Killington. There is a parking lot behind the house with plenty of spaces. The duplex is warm and inviting, neat and quirky with all kinds of knick knacks. We appreciated the lights being on when we checked-in in the evening. Would definitely recommend for single/couple travelers who are looking to live and play like the locals. Thanks, Rick!

Great place. We just can't stay away. This has become our ultimate Vermont getaway. Rick and Heather are the best. Come explore Rutland in a fabulous location. The local indoor farmer's market is top notch. Always something to do in Rutland/Killington area. 🔥 on the mountain.

We had yet another amazing stay with Rick on "Gram's on the groove". Fiddle- witch performed in the living room. They are super talented. We also explored the local music scene downtown Rutland. There is a great local brewery called the Hop and moose. Rutland is location. Location. Location. Rick is the most gracious host. Book this now. You won't be disappointed.

very artistic place, piano, guitar...... some little toys. nice experience. it has 10min walk to rutland bus station . If you want to ski in killington, you can take commute there.

We have now stayed with Rick three times. We are very lucky to have become friends with him and his "luvley" band. This air bnb gives us a unique opportunity to go see live shows in the area. Great place to stay for skiing!

This rental was exactly what we needed for a family of 5. The place was clean and Bree was very responsive and got back to me within minutes through the app. Check in was straightforward and easy. The house was only a 20 minute drive to Killington and walking distance to downtown Rutland and a grocery store and Walmart. There was coffee and a few other staples provided so it was very convenient.

Our family enjoyed a great weekend at Bree’s house. The house had everything we needed including comfy beds, clean bathrooms and kitchens, and a great location.

Came up for a ski weekend with a couple of friends. Bree's house was perfect for us, about 20-25 minute drive to Killington and walking distance to bars and restaurants in Rutland. Very reasonably priced and everyone got their own room with a queen size bed. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful stay this past fall weekend for our young family of 4. We were very pleasantly deceived upon our arrival- the house is huge yet cozy and comfortable. Bree’s quick responses to our questions were very helpful. Beds super comfortable and house layout could easily and comfortably accommodate large groups and small. Kitchen stocked with all we needed. Outdoor deck and sunroom added bonuses. Great location to downtown Rutland and a short scenic drive to the slopes. Would highly recommend Bree’s place for a trip any time of year and hope to make it back sometime soon!

Staying at Mark and Kerry's place was amazing. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars for everything. The whole process was seamless and the hospitality we experienced was incredible. Absolutely going to be staying here again when we travel to Vermont. Go experience it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay for our ski trip to Killington. Kerry helped with everything and cooked nice breakfasts for us every morning. The whole family are very hospitable. The host went out of the way to care for our dog while we were on the slopes. We and our dog enjoyed the stay.

This place is a little diamond that you randomly find. Mark and Kerry are extremely nice people and their home is very quaint and warm. Really feels like you’re being integrated into their family during your stay. Also they made us breakfast and that made us feel extra special!

This location was perfect! Not only was there a huge flat screen TV that I could binge Netflix on at night after I got back from the mountain, the bed in bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! I couldn't have picked a better location in regards to going back and forth from Killington. Basically a straight, quick shot to the mountain (which was even more convenient after long day of riding). I highly highly recommend Sherri's place for anyone looking for a nice & peaceful spot!

Sherri’s place was exactly how it was pictured! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick trip, and everything was great. Sherri recommended an amazing local restaurant and she had cupcakes for us on arrival. I would stay here again next time I’m in the area.

It's all in the title - this place feels like a home away from home. Cheryl and George did a great job in furniture and decoration. The place felt warm, inviting and comfortable. Not to mention that and George are superstar hosts. They even had cookies for us!

We moved from out of state to Vermont and needed an extended stay place while we were house hunting and settling in. Jeff's place did that for us. Good location. Great value. Loved having a kitchen. Check in was easy and whenever we had a question, Jeff was very responsive.

Jeff’s place was exactly what I was looking for. Location was perfect in relation to the spartan beat at mount Killington that I was participating in. The size, cleanliness, and small personal touches were also ideal. Jeff’s quick responses and accurate descriptions also played a huge role in making this a fantastic weekend. Clean and convenient!

This is a very nice place to stay. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, check-in is easy with no fuss. It's a short drive from Killington peak, which I recommend, and the restaurant across the street has great pizza (and wine)!

Very clean, easy to use, enjoyable space. Well taken care of, and a great location right in the center of town. Jeff was always prompt in responding and a good communicator; very responsive to our needs.

Jeff was very responsive before and during the stay. He even asked our ETA so he could turn on the AC before we arrived! The place was clean and everything was as advertised. Bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful stay! Great location for exploring Vermont and extremely affordable.

My plans changed and I didn't end up staying but the place is very easy to find, close to shopping and restaurants. Hosts were very understanding when my flights were cancelled and my arrival was delayed significantly, and they also provided a multitude of recommendations for dining and things to do.

Philip's place was a nice and easy home base for our ski weekend at Killington. The space was big enough for a group to spread out gear and relax after days on the slopes. The location was ideal for walking into downtown for a bite and a beer. I would definitely stay there again.

A great simple place to stay if you are there there for a skiing vacation. Rutland is a nice town and the house is located near a lot of stores and the movie theater. Highly recommend.

Nice cozy apartment close to killington!

We had such an amazing trip! The place was very clean and the host was very responsive and quick when we had questions about the town or the apartment itself. We traveled about 45/50 min to Bromley Mountain, 15 min to Pico Mountain, 25 min to Killington Mountain for skiing. It was in a great location!! It’s also in walking distance to Walmart and an adorable downtown area. Would highly recommend for small groups looking to go skiing for a reasonable price to stay and would definitely visit again!

Philip's apartment was excellent for our 4 person vacation to Killington for skiing. We enjoyed having a kitchen and the place felt spacious. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed. Would stay again.

Lisa's place is just as described. We slept so well! The bed is very comfortable, with good linens. The curtains keep the light out, and the house and street are super quiet. I'm pretty sure the floors were heated too -

We spent a night there during the skiing season. The place is very comfortable, functional, warm, and very clean. This is a quiet corner but easily accessible from Okemo and Killington. There is a good restaurant five minutes away and it's easy to prepare breakfast in the room. The view is spectacular. The host is very responsive and hospitable.

This was our second time staying in this cozy cabin because we loved it so much the first time! The cabin is wonderfully appointed with everything you need if you plan to stay in and it’s close to Ludlow and Manchester if you plan to venture out. The babbling brook was made more beautiful by the snow we received, which was promptly cleared from the driveway so we could safely venture out. We highly recommend this adorable cabin and will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed a nice quiet weekend at the Darrin and Tom's cabin. It's nicely equipped with all amenities needed for having meals in if you just want to hunker down (which we did). The property is set back and very private, but nice to have the host just up the road if you need anything. Highly recommend and would love to come back to see it in another season.

The cabin was beautiful, secluded and private, in the middle of a wooded area next to a stream. We were able to take a short hike in the area and along the flowing stream. The stove kept the cabin nice and cozy. Amazing stay and hope to come back!

Darrin and Tom are thoughtful and gracious hosts. Their cabin is clean, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We had such a lovely, relaxing visit! From the toasty fireplace to the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin it was the perfect setting for our spa weekend. We would love to come back again!

We love this house, it’s kind a remotes next to the small spring. think it’s kind of the moms from all the bars and restaurants so we have to drive and there is no Uber or taxi available if you want to have a couple drinks.Overall great place to run away from the city and chill by the woods

Great deal for the area! It was nice that they allowed dogs as we brought ours. I was just nervous about our dog going down the stairs from the loft bedroom as they are steep and polished. Would def be too crowded if we had more than 4 people there (we had 3). Darrin and Tom kept the driveway clear of snow and had all the essentials. Loft bedroom got very hot with the gas stove running but with an adjustment of the ceiling fan we were much more comfortable. Would stay here again.

Darrin and Tom’s place was a wonderful getaway for our ski trip in Vermont. We had a really great time sitting around by the cozy fire playing Yahtzee after days out on the slopes. It was private, well decorated and a lovely place to stay.

What a special place!

Came to Airbnb for the first time looking for a breath of fresh air and found the best I could have possibly hoped for. Jerry demonstrated a tremendous level of hospitality that fed into an infectious carefree atmosphere, enhancing what was already going to be a fantastic weekend based on accommodations and location alone. If you're reading this and even considering booking, do so before someone else does!

We had a wonderful time at the off-grid cabin.we brought our own sheets and blankets and turn the futon into a wonderful queen size bed. Everything was very comfortable and the stars at night were amazing! If you're looking for something a bit secluded and a little rustic this is the place for you.

This is our 4th time staying at Josiane and Todd's home. It was great getting back and catching up. It's always a fun, relaxing and comfortable time. It's the first time we experienced the bathroom with a steam shower and it was fantastic. Breakfast was great as usual , with great conversation. We look forward to going again.

Josianne’s room was spacious and easily fit an added air mattress they provided. The shared bathroom was spacious, clean and beautiful, with a shower steam room. Todd and Josianne made a delicious breakfast for us, inclusive with home made jams! They were super friendly and hospitable, we’d surely go back.
