It is a comfortable space with WiFi and SKY TV (including sports and movie channels). There is plenty of safe on street parking as the Annex is located on a quiet residential street. The Annex is situated in Bardsey Village within 'the golden triangle' between Leeds, Harrogate and York. Bardsey boasts the oldest pub in England, the Bingley Arms, dating back to 950AD at a time when Vikings were conquering parts of the country. There are two priest holes inside the chimney breast which were used to hide Catholic priests during the Reformation in the reign of King Henry VIII. Bardsey is close to the market town of Wetherby, which offers supermarkets, pubs and a cinema. Wetherby is situated on the banks of the River Wharf with picnic areas and a free car park by the riverside bandstand. The town centre is full of interesting small shops selling a wide variety of goods. There are also many tea/coffee shops and restaurants to explore. Harewood House and Estate is only 4 miles away and is worth a visit. If you haven't time to visit the house, there are pictureque walks from Harewood Village. An historic castle dating back to 1366 is accessible through the woods and you can't fail to see the magnificent Red Kite birds of prey with a wingspan of 1.5 metres. Muddy Boots Cafe in Harewood Village Hall offers excellent refreshments. We are close to the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. A guide is provided in the accommodation recommending places of interest and offering all the practical advice to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The Annex is located on a quiet residential street with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
  • An adorable annex that is very well equipped. Definitely will recommend and will stay again

  • Lovely place to stay.

    William2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great value. Lovely views, nice walks around the area. From start to finish Fiona was fantastic and catered to anything we needed and was always happy to help.

  • This was a rather ordinary stay compared to anything previous. It would have been OK for a one day stay but we stayed for two and we had rather bargained on catching up with our laundry, which wasn't possible.

    David2016-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona made me feel very welcome and was at all times helpful and friendly. The annex was well appointed and was very comfortable with everything I needed. It was also nice to have a small seating area in the garden. The annex was also spotlessly clean. The area was very convenient for Leeds and not to far from the motorway. I would certainly recommend.

    Liz2016-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona and her family were very friendly, polite, and welcoming, very quick to supply us with any thing that we requested. The house is very clean and private.

    muna2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Fiona provided us with a very warm welcome, and apartment was lovely and perfect for what we required. Anyone in the area I would highly recommend staying with Fiona as you will be able to make yourselves right at home.

  • Relocating from overseas to Leeds with young family we stayed in the Annexe for 3 weeks. If you want to experience a stunning countryside area with easy commuting distance to the City this is the perfect choice. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly and the accommodation is spotless cosy and comfortable. Fiona is a great host, respecting privacy but on the spot to provide any support and help required. Over and above any obligations I'd like to mention that Fiona and her family supported us specifically as my wife was new to the country and Leeds offering advice and reasurrance which has really been much appreciated. This was not something they needed to do and I thank Fiona for helping us get up on our feet. Lovely Yorkshire folk and we wish them all the very best.

  • We absolutely loved the Harewood cottage. The Harewood Arms which is only a two min walk away is a really friendly, high quality, Yorkshire pub that serves Sam Smith ale and very good single malt. Paul the cook will make you a very good, large pub meal. There is so much to do in and around Harewood. Central to exploring other sites of interest. We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed for 14 and still not seen it all. Friendly, safe, clean village and free parking at the cottage doorstep. Thanks Gail from Glenn and family.

  • David was a kind, generous, and sociable host. We enjoyed a night out at the local pub with him along with a few drinks and were made to feel incredibly welcome. The Barn is a stunning, cosy home in a beautiful location however you would definitely need a car to make the most of the area. Would definitely return! Thanks once again, David!

  • No complaints. David was the perfect host. What you see is what you get & more. David is there but not there if you know what I mean. Nothing was a bother even had us join in his fathers 90th birthday celebration. If you like horses take an apple Billy and his mother enjoy a pat. Loverly spot beautiful countryside. David always ready to share a glass of red Thanks David

  • We needed a place to stay last minute as we ended up working at a festival close by, and David was super flexible and helped us with everything we needed. The room was immaculate, the place was in a great location and David was so friendly. We can't wait to go back when we're not working so we can explore the area!

    Caz2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • David is a wonderfully warm and friendly man and an absolute legend of a host! His house is beautiful and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - he even gave us a lift to the wedding we were in the area to attend and shared a glass of wine with us on our return. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope that I can return one day.

    Stephanie2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • David is a kind and generous host whose house combines both warmth and luxury in an idyllic country setting. Having your own private bathroom was wonderful. The location was a great getaway, yet also close to the art and design venues nearby in Yorkshire that I had come to see.

  • A very welcomming clean and homeley place to stay. Great views, spacious with fabulously comfortable beds. We had a restful and peaceful stay. Great location for York and the Moors.

  • My family and I really enjoyed staying in Jon and Laura's lovely little cottage. It was the perfect location for us to visit family in York and Harrogate. The house itself is clean and cosy with lovely views over the river. It was a great spot for us having a dog as well as the house is right next to a big sports ground where he could run around in the morning. Jon and Laura were always on hand with any queries we had, they are wonderfully friendly and helpful, I can't fault their communication! We would highly recommend this house for a family holiday and will definitely be staying again!

A light and spacious duplex apartment situated within a secure development in the heart of the historic market town of Wetherby.
Located on the first floor with a communal entrance and a flight of stairs to reach the front door.
Peaceful and quite development with friendly neighbours. A two minute walk to our favourite pub, Muse, that offers great atmosphere and good food.
  • Mari is a great host and even went the extra mile with some of our requests. Clean and beautiful home, well equipped and tidy. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you

  • Great location, close to the shops and restaurants as well as the river for nice walks. The apartment was lovely and we had really clear instructions for how to get in with pictures which really helped!

  • This is a really lovely flat, clean, comfortable, spacious and ideally situated. We had a great time in Wetherby, it is a very friendly Yorkshire town. There were constant queues at the Wetherby Whaler (fish and chip shop take-away/restaurant) over the road, so they must be doing something right. We went to the pub/restaurant recommended by Mari for Sunday lunch which was nice and to the Ask Italian nearby. There is a really good fish shop in town where we bought clams and prawns. Overall we'd definitely visit and stay here again - thank you Mari :)

  • What an excellent experience from start to finish. I was a bit apprehensive about using Airbnb as we usually stay in established hotels, but from Ruth contacting me and advising about the area, I cannot fault my choice of accommodation or using Airbnb. Ruth was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The room, bathroom and breakfast were all lovely. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy the delights of Wetherby with a home from home experience.

This is one of three rooms I have listed on Airbnb within the same house, so you may encounter other people staying in any of the other 2 rooms, unless you book all 3 rooms of course. Great riverside and wooded walks for both humans and ducks! Pleasant quiet and leafy neighbourhood. Plenty of pubs, cafes and good restaurants. Recommended is Filmore & Union Cafe in the Market Place (especially for breakfast). Alternatively a good Italian restaurant is across the road from this cafe called Sant' Angelo's, which is large and often has excellent live music tribute bands and singers entertainment .. heart and soul of the town. • We had a great time at Paul's!! Lovely house, beautiful small town and very kind and friendly host! The children were happy to find a playground right across the street to burn some energy after a long trip by plane and by car from Italy. Fantastic location to visit York and the Yorkshire Dales. Wish we had more time. Daniela

    Daniela2014-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Paul greeted us warmly but we were disappointed in the room. We felt the pictures he showed in describing the place on the internet were misleading. The room is simply inadequate for five people; three should be the maximum. We decided to find another place after arriving for two of us and that made the room at Paul's place sufficient. It is still very Spartan and disappointing for sleeping. The little yard in back and the kitchen/dining area were welcoming the next morning when Paul set out fruit and breads and fixed us some tea. Our conversation about his interest in exploring ways in which man can learn by mimicking nature was a fun part of our stay.

    Lynn J. 2015-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • A really enjoyable stay. Paul is an extremely likeable. welcoming and very interesting guy. A proper feeling of a home from home, warm, cosy and comfortable in an attrcatibe market town. Why bother with an anonymous hotel!

  • The accommodation was clean and cozy. Everything was there as mentioned. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We reached quite early, but he had no issues checking us in. He offered us wines in the evening and also made arrangement for the breakfast next morning. The surroundings are green and peaceful and very short distance from the York Town center

  • The house was very attractive and family friendly. My kids enjoyed playground and fireplace. I would like to visit again.

  • My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Paul's place. The big room we got could perfectly accomodate up to 5 guests. Paul was also a very friendly and laid back host. His house was clean and well-decorated. It's located in a very lovely residential area. Thank you for your hospitality and especially the wine! Would definitely reccommend this place to anyone.

    Arnon2015-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed Paul's place especially because it was a last minute booking for our family of 5. Met some wonderful people and enjoyed great conversation.

    Joanne2013-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Paul could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Easy going and hospitable. The house is very well situated within an easy walk of the centre of Wetherby with its great restaurants and pubs. Use the address rather than the postcode in the sat nav ....we ended up at the back of the house in an alley. Good nights sleep in the big front bedroom and a nice hot shower in the morning. Would recommend.

  • Being at Lloyd´s has been a wonderfull experience, He is so much helpfull, and advised me in everything concerning places to visit in leeds or nearby. He is really funny and I really enjoy talking to him. He is always offering fruit, biscuits, or anything. He is a very intelligent guy whom you can speak to about any interesting issue or theme in life, and you definetelly won ´t be bored with him. I really expect to meet him again on my next visit to England. The room is spacious and the bed is confortable. I liked the fact that I found tea, coffee, chocolate and sweets in the room. The bus stop is just next to the house and there are some shops just 15 minutes walk.

  • Was a pleasure staying at Lloyds accommodation for a couple of weeks. The large spacious room was very comfortable including a private bathroom which was ideal. Lloyd & Monica was always at hand should I require any help or assistance during my stay. The area in which the house is located in Shadwell lane was an ideal location with parks nearby, 15/20 minute bus into town and shops walking distance away. To sum up I would highly recommend this property to anyone weather it be for work, studies or anyone wishing to visit Leeds for any period of time.

Detached bungalow with a garden in a quiet residential area of Wetherby. Ideally located for easy access to surrounding attractions and local countryside.
We hope you enjoy our bungalow. The lounge/dining room is a L shape, the dining room looks out over the back garden with sliding door access, whilst the lounge has a gas heater along with central heating. The kitchen also has a dining area, this has a door that also leads to the back garden.
This is a quiet residential area, minutes away from a cycle path and miles of footpaths. We are approximately 1 mile from the centre of the market town where you will find shops, resaurants, take aways and pubs. There is also a quaint cinema.
  • Really quiet location. Safe garden for children. Bungalow had everything we needed plus lots more. Pleasant walk into town along disused railway.

  • This is a spacious and comfortable bungalow in a very genteel suburb, with easy access by car to Leeds, York, Harrogate and the surrounding area. The host lives next door and provided some nice welcoming touches (e.g. chocolate biscuits!). We were looking after a toddler over a weekend and she enjoyed the space in the house and the garden.

  • A great little cottage in a quiet neighbourhood .. Plenty of room for adults and kids! Alison was great to deal with. We had a great time, happy to recommend and would stay again for sure!

    Leigh2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Alison made me feel very welcomed into her property. There were manuals to explain things like where to dispose of rubbish, Wifi passwords etc, she had even gone to the trouble of making sure there was fresh coffee, tea and even milk in the fridge (And even some fresh bread, butter, jam and a few biscuits as well!!!) The place was exactly as listed (If not better) each room was in immaculate condition and the interior of the property is very well decorated. I would definitely stay in this property again and the group of people that stayed with me would all agree and we are even thinking about booking it again some time soon. This was my first time use of AirBNB and based off of the experience I have had with Alison I will be recommending to friends and colleagues to look here first over going to a hotel.

The Barn is a delightful stone built dwelling situated in a large garden and is less than 10 minutes walk from the center of Wetherby, a historic market town situated on the River Wharfe. Located just off the main A1 south to north road this is an ideal base for exploring the varied delights of Yorkshire and is the perfect gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, and the East coast.
The Barn is a beautiful cosy retreat ideally located within the historic market town of Wetherby. There is large entrance hall leading to the twin bedroom (which can be converted to king bed on request) and separate shower room. The main accommodation is upstairs on the first floor where you will find an open plan kitchen and living space with log burning stove. The master bedroom is also on the first floor along with the house bathroom (bath/shower). There are lovely views over the garden.
Wetherby is an award winning floral town and there are riverside walks and cycle paths in the area. The Barn is just a few minutes from the Harland Way, a Sustrans cycle and foot path between Wetherby and Spofforth. Wetherby has a good range of restaurants and pubs offering a variety of dining experiences. There is a good choice of tea rooms and coffee shops too. There are supermarkets nearby and the town centre has butchers, bakers, a greengrocer, a fishmonger - and a cinema! The wider local area has many nearby attractions accessible by car including the historic city of York and Old Mother Shipton's Cave and riverside boating at Knaresborough. The Spa town of Harrogate has excellent shopping, theatre, and restaurants. A visit to the famous Bettys Tearooms is a must! The Yorkshire Show Ground in Harrogate hosts The Great Yorkshire Show every July and also the famous spring and autumn Flower Show. Wetherby has its own racecourse and there are racecourses at York and Ripon.
  • Excellent! Very friendly welcome, lovely clean place with a beautiful garden. Quiet but just five minutes on foot from the town centre. Was perfect for our family and we'll be back!

  • This was the most superb place to stay - a gorgeous converted barn in a secluded courtyard and garden just a short walk into the centre of Wetherby. Brian and Carolynne couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating if they tried. Communication was super helpful, and we were greeted warmly and welcomed into the beautiful barn. It is a very thoughtful conversion with a downstairs bedroom and en suite (for those with mobility issues, this is a boon!) but the main living area is upstairs, taking advantage of the wonderful light. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are just gorgeous (I tok great delight in lying in bed operating the remote control blind on the Velux window, watching the stars disappear at night). The living area is very relaxing with really good quality furniture and fast wifi. The kitchen has been supplied with everything you could possibly need and a few luxuries beside (free range eggs from in house hens, jam selection, milk). Brian even offered us some honeycomb! A truly wonderful stay - we just wish we could have lingered longer! We will be back!

  • The accommodation is the best self catering accommodation I have stayed in for many years. The comfort, quality & range of essentials was excellent. We were lucky enough to enjoy lovely weather & spent the evening relaxing in the beautiful garden. Although in the heart of Wetherby it's a haven of peace & tranquility. Would thoroughly recommend a stay for whatever reason for visiting this beautiful part of Yorkshire.

Brian and Carolynn are unbelievably helpful with recommendations around Wetherby and surrounding areas. The Barn is in walking distance to restaurants, cafés,and shopping.Brain was nice enough to bring us fresh eggs from their hens they have on property. I would absolutely recommend The Barn to anyone visiting the area! I can't wait to go back!!

Central Wetherby - ideal for York, Harrogate and Leeds - Harewood House, Castle Howard, Fountains Abbey - the A1 (the Great North Road) used to go directly through the town, now it is well connected to M1, M62, etc. It's peaceful here, there are lovely walks along the Harland Way, Ebor Way, the Wetherby Ings, walks along the River Wharfe and obviously it is handy for the Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors and Wolds. It is only here because it is equidistant between London and Edinburgh, crossing the River Wharfe over a bridge first built in 1215... What more do you need? Oh and people locally call it 'Weather by' because in Wetherby the bad weather always seems to go by and leave us happy (we are not all such liars ;-))! We are five minutes walk from the Wetherby Racecourse; at Bramham House there are both Bramham Horse Event/Trials and the Leeds Festival once a year. Beautiful Knaresborough is around eight miles away. Boston Spa, Tadcaster, Boroughbridge are all close, as is Marston Moor. It is a good place to start or end a stage on the Ebor Way. Etcetera Etcetera.
Wetherby is in the Golden Triangle of Harrogate, York and Leeds; but it isn't any of those things so you can escape and drink Prosecco at the end of the day; consider whether you think this is indeed God's own county!
  • I was seriously late arriving after being held up by a section of the motorway being blocked by an accident. Phoned Daniel to let him know and he waited up for me. Gave me a great welcome and cup of tea which I was gasping for. He had recently had an accident falling down the stairs and his back was badly bruised - this had slowed him down considerably and things were not quite as he had planned but they still worked extremely well. I slept well and had a good breakfast.

    Tom2015-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very cosy, and we felt really welcome. Daniel had prepared all those little things that make the experience all the better: for example, he had put a bottle of water and two glasses ready for us. The breakfast was the best, Daniel enthusiastically prepared a delicious English Breakfast, with organic and local ingredients, and homemade jam with fruits from the garden. perfect!

  • Excellent stay with Daniel. Clean comfortable room and bed with great breakfasts and conversation.

  • Lovely over night stay with Daniel, while on route to Scotland. Daniel went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Room was lovely. Also offered a great breakfast before setting off again. Thank you Daniel.

    Tanya2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel was really hospitable and made me feel welcome. He also cooked a delicious breakfast and was fun to chat to. The room was clean and cosy and the bathroom down the hallway had everything I needed plus I got a clean towel every day. The area is safe and very quiet. I was working at Leeds festival and location was really convenient, only few miles down the road. Daniel was also very accommodating with my late arrivals. I would definitely recommend his place and him as a host.

  • This was the first time I had ever done air B and B - i honestly can't describe how lovely, welcoming and perfect it was :-) The cottage was beautiful, gorgeous garden, the perfect location for the weekend away we had booked. We had a delicious breakfast everyday and nothing was too much trouble! The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Wetherby is a lovely town and great location for Leeds festival, to escape the horrors that are festival camping!

Double bedroom in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the centre of historical market town Wetherby. Transport links to Leeds, Harrogate and York and close to the A1. One elderly cat in residence but not allowed in bedrooms. Self service breakfast provided. A second double bedroom is also available.
Bathroom next to the bedroom, almost en suite and for the exclusive use of all guests. I have another one to use when I have guests. You are only renting a room in my home, it's not a hotel or B&B and doesn't have those facilities.
Wetherby is a lovely market town with everything one could possibly want including riverside walks and a swimming pool.
  • Ann is a great host and fun to talk to. I enjoyed my time with her. She welcomed me warmly and helped me a lot with guidelines for the neighborhood. I was their because I was exhibiting at the exhibition centre in Harrogate. By car it is only a 15min drive (when traffic is low). The house is clean and the room more than excellent. I could also park my car on the driveway. I had a nice stay!

    Sebastien2015-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Ann was really communicative and the house/room lovely. T he room was quiet and dark and the breakfast very appreciated. It's a short walk into Wetherby for shops, restaurants, etc. Recommended!

  • Guest bedroom and washroom as described. Ann showed me around her home prior to leaving for the weekend for an unexpected function. She did leave me contact info for emergency purposes. She does have a tame older cat in the home! (I'm not a cat lover but Nigel was no trouble)

    Cindy2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Ann was a wonderful host!! We came for the Leeds festival and she drove us to the festival and picked us up which was more than kind, since it got late and the traffic was horrific.. Ann even drove us to Leeds at 2:20 am, so that we could catch our train home!! We were incredibly lucky that Ann was our host and we definitely consider coming back again! The room was very clean and even though we arrived to early (before the room was cleaned) Ann let us stay, drop our stuff or let us do whatever we wished for. Even wetherby, the small town in which the house lays, was breathtaking! Very beautiful and everyone was very nice and helpful..

    GINA2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Ann accommodated our schedule (we arrived a bit late and left rather early), which we were very grateful for. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

  • Michael is a great host. Friendly and very hospitable with lots of local knowledge. I spent one night at his lovely home whilst working in the area, which is quiet and safe. He greeted me with a cup of tea on arrival and made me feel very welcome indeed.

    Diane2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot say anything but great experience. Also it is the first time to book rooms using Airbnb. It made us feel like home. The room is nice and cozy just like the pictures shown in Airbnb. And I think Mike is very friendly. We took the wrong bus and he immediately came for us so that we did not to waiting outside along rain and cold. Overall, if we come Leeds again, we will choose to stay here.

    Tong2015-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed only one night in Michael's room but it was really nice experience for me and my wife. Wonderful. The room was warm enough, clean and nice for two person. The location of the apartment was little bit far from Leeds city center but we had a car so there was no problem with it. It was in the quiet area. The host Michael and Zahide were very friendly and lovely. After short conversation, Michael invited us and we could share our stories. I highly recommend this place to the next guest.

    Chaeryong2015-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Michael is a very friendly person who made us very welcome sharing his home with us for the night. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was clean and comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities were there for us in the morning. He even offered to pick us up should we need ,when we got totally lost in Leeds. He was very welcoming and made us tea and coffee when we arrived in the evening A great quiet pleasant retreat after the hustle and bustle of a busy day, dropping our daughter off at Leeds Uni.

    Natalie2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • I tried to book this room. I got no reply from the host by breakfast on the day that I needed the room. I asked the landlady with whom I was staying, if she had a cancellation and she did, so I booked the room for a further night. Knew nothing about any Airebnb confirmation. I got a text to ask when I was arriving and texted back to say that as I had not heard anything I had found alternative accommodation. I don't think that I should pay as I had to go elsewhere.

    John2016-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed one night with Michael arriving about 8 and leaving before 7 the next day. His house is in a quiet area and you can park outside but it is not near town. Everything clean. He was friendly and I'm sure would have been a welcoming host had I stayed longer. There is fast wi-fi. I did sleep - mostly - but I found the stay an uncomfortable one. Bed is a sofa bed which fills the room. I think it had a sheet on it ( or was it a 'mattress protector' ?) but I could feel every spring. There is a wardrobe but not accessible due to the sofa bed filling all available space. No other furniture bar a lamp. There's a large bathroom nearby but I could not work the complicated shower and no-one around at 6.30 so ended up having a wash. Nowhere to make a drink either. Perhaps this would be good if you are travelling around on a budget. As a business overnighter I would not recommend.

  • Grand house, absolutely loved it, very private. Anna and David, very welcoming, as I was an exhibitor at a show at Harewood House down the road, did not get to enjoy breakfast as had to leave very very early on both mornings, my reduced cost of stay reflected that, wished I had more time! Fully recommend a stay. Thank you Anna and David, will not hesitate to return in the future.

  • We had a two night stay here and were made very welcome. The house is lovely, clean and decorated in keeping with its age and character. We had a late arrival but Anne and David were there to give us a very warm welcome. Breakfast was very good, a selection of fruit, cereals and homemade jams and marmalade as well as the option of cooked which was consistently nice both mornings. The room was a good size, clean and well kept. It's decorated in keeping with the style of the house overall. It's none smoking which suits us perfectly. Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Four Gables and Anne and David's warm hospitality.

  • David and Alison were perfect hosts. Their home is lovely, everything was clean and as described. We were made to feel very welcome, with tea and great hospitality. They recommended a really good pub for our evening meal. We met Alison's dad who was a lovely gentleman. Our room was bright, beautifully decorated with a wash basin and a very comfortable bed. We had to leave very early for an event and porridge, cereal etc was left out for us to help ourselves. Great bathroom and shower. Would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended.

This is in one of the best cosmopolitan locations in Leeds, just off the bustling Street Lane, and Roundhay Park. On a bus route straight into Leeds City Centre. You have everything, 1 min walk away, yet the street itself is quiet and fully tree lined avenue. Opposite the house are some tennis courts. The house is a large end Victoria semi detached. All persons living here are friendly and respectful. The bedrooms are spacious, bright and clean. Warning my room, tends to go very quickly.
  • Some amenities that had been listed were not actually provided such as breakfast, towels, and we did not have toilet paper until 24 hours into our stay. The person who greeted us and we communicated with was not Uzma, who we never saw or spoke to in the house. The gentleman who we did deal with did not seem knowledgable on the arrangement, as we had to ask for the wifi password after check in, and message our host to find out if we could use the kitchen. The room itself was bright and large, but the floors and walls were filthy, also very dusty. It is not very central, a 25 minute bus ride to get

  • I actually never saw Uzma in person. The guy that I was dealing with, was my neighbor, who didn't know anything about my agreement with Uzma. Altho he was very friendly and helpful. Loot of Amenities thet were in the offer were missing - basics as toilet paiper, towels, fork, knife, plate (actually anything in the kitchen) or breakfast. etc. The room was big, but dirty. With me there were about 6 peaple in the House, wich were really nice and friendly. There were some problems with hot water, wich i didnt had for 5days (Uzmy tried to solve it).

  • When my friend and I landed, the host was unreachable, no answer to any of my texts. I took the address from the page, which was a different number to the actual house. When at the end we got there by asking people, no one opened the door and had to wait at least half an hour. Someone opened the door which straight away closed it on us. After a while another person opened for us, which wasn't the host. That person showed us the room and the essentials as towels, toilet paper and a duvet for the bed, as well the toilet which is shared with everyone in the house. The man who showed us the house was very nice, he offered us his duvet (as he lived in the room next door) which was very nice of him. But for unhygienic reasons we didn't use it. The room was as it shows in the photos, with a bed, two tables and a chair. That night, before sleeping, we had to make our own bed, but the duvet was stained so we contacted Uzma and the next day we had a fresh one. As well, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, we could feel the metals touching our back which it was really hard to sleep well. Uzma was flexible with our check out and agreed to let us be until late before catching our plane back.

  • The place was very clean and good. Nadeem bhai was very friendly and welcoming. Only problem I encountered while staying there was the unavailability of Hot water sometimes. Other than that its good. If you are a student, this place is not suitable because it is a bit far from universities. But it is located in a very healthy environment.

  • Janis wasn`t available to greet us when we arrived but had made very clear access arrangements and supplied us with all the food essentials and more. When Janis arrived back at the property she immediately came and introduced herself and made us very welcome. The property is located in a very pleasant tree lined avenue with adequate on street parking, the flat is accessed by and opens out onto a patio and is self sufficient so we could come and go without disturbing anybody. Externally we had the use of the garden which is beautifully set out and well maintained, internally the property is well furnished to a high standard and provides good wi-fi and television with the usual free view selection of channels. The layout of the flat is open plan with wide double doors that close creating a separate bedroom area, a well equipped kitchen and roomy lounge diner which with all the pictures and knick knacks felt like home from home. The flat is convenient for Roundhay Park and Tropical World for entertaining grandchildren and plenty of restaurants for entertaining us. We would recommend the flat to anyone visiting Leeds who doesn`t want the regime of hotel life and prefers self sufficiency in a quiet location.

  • Our stay was perfect! The host were very welcoming and accommodating. Everything was neat, clean and well equipped for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. I loved that you could walk to local stores to eat, grab some groceries or a coffee at Starbucks. We will be visiting Leeds again in the near future. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Thank you Janis!!!!!

  • This really is a beautiful ground floor flat, and an entire home! We felt instantly relaxed and happy on arrival as it so gorgeous. It is open, light, clean, very stylish and fully equipped......although we only stayed 2 nights we would happily return for a longer stay. The flat is in one of the loveliest roads in North Leeds and would make a perfect base for an easy journey into the city centre or for exploring all the joys of Yorkshire. The bed is very comfortable with crisp, clean bedding and the shower is powerfully effective. Everything works well in the kitchen area and the view is out onto the lovely garden and the flat's patio space. Although its so convenient for the city centre, its a very quiet area. Janis had kindly left fresh flowers for us and the fridge held milk, fruit juice, bagels and a wonderful fruit salad. Tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits were also to hand.....very welcome after a trip up the M1! The tv and wifi worked well. Janis was warm, kind and generous. She was concerned for our comfort. She was available for contact should we have needed her but the flat is self contained and private. Janis was also flexible about our arrangements when we had difficulties about our arrival time and readily allowed us to make changes, leaving the key safely for us. I hope we'll be able to revisit!

  • Janis was there to welcome me upon arrival and was very informative about the surrounding area and what there was to do. She had also left a loaf of fresh bread with homemade jam, milk in the fridge and coffee in the cupboard....everything you need to get going. The location is fantastic, it's only a 5 minute walk to the local shops/bars/restaurants and the bus service into Leeds city center is very frequent. The apartment is exactly as described, it's clean and very private. I would highly recommend staying here....Thank you again Janis.

  • We loved staying in this comfortable flat, with direct access to a peaceful garden. It is located in a very quiet residential street, but within a few minutes walk of shops and restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by Janis with flowers and chocolate Easter rabbits! The kitchen area has everything you need and there are comfortable sofas to relax. We would certainly like to stay here again.

  • Our first Airbnb experience and it certainly won't be our last! A quiet and very private ground floor apartment in an excellent location. Exceptionally clean and well equipped, with added extra touches to make the stay more special eg fresh flowers, fruit bowl etc We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone. It is especially perfect for guests going to a wedding at the Mansion House, Roundhay Park. We didn't want to leave ! J&J
