All you need for a comfortable self-catered stay, 5 minutes from the centre of bustling Holmfirth. Wonderful walks & more challenging hikes from the doorstep. Keen cyclists will appreciate amazing rides, on the route of the Tour de Yorkshire. If a quieter day is preferred, potter around the boutiques, galleries & shops, or enjoy a board game, or box set on the Smart TV.

A 2 minute walk down the hill to central Holmfirth. Inside: Private and self-contained. Gas central-heating. Comfortable double bed. Wifi, TV, DAB radio. Fridge. Tea and coffee. Hairdryer. Shower room with toiletries and towels. Outside: Terrace with table and chairs. Reserved parking on our drive.

Cosy cottage with garden, patio and parking

The Mistle is a gorgeous, quaint cottage (sleeps 4) at the far end of a historic barn. Located in the friendly village of Brockholes near Holmfirth, accessible by train, it's perfect families and friends looking for a base for a short break. It's also a great base for working. Recently renovated, you'll find it attractive, cosy and well-equipped. The cottage sits across a cobbled courtyard from our house so we're here to help. Includes parking, fast wifi and great outdoor space. Dog friendly.

The Bunker (Holmfirth’s hidden gem) with parking!

https://tinyurl.com/y3cnz9h8 Our lovely Bunker is situated 3 minutes walk to the centre of Holmfirth . Built in our garden, this hideaway serves as accommodation for our large family to use when visiting. It has a large open plan kitchen/lounge diner with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, an office area, bathroom and a utility room housing the laundry facilities. It has underfloor heating and is double glazed. There is a dedicated parking space on our drive and a deck to sit on, in good weather.

Upside down stone Bothy on Marsden Moor

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Rose cottage is dog friendly. Ideally located just 4 mins walk from the town centre. with its multitude of places to eat out and drink from romantic restaurants to family friendly diners and cozy real ale pubs to lively cocktail bars. many festivals of art, food and folk music throughout the year and of course, the famous Picturedrome music venue. No. 18, Holmfirth is a cosy, quirky cottage - three minutes walk to the centre of Holmfirth. Perfectly located for the Picturedrome, bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It's at the top of a steep road, but benefits from amazing, countryside views from the top (and the H3 bus runs up every hour!). Holmfirth Vineyard is close by. Cannon Hall Farm and Yorkshire Sculpture Park are about 20 minutes drive. Close to the Peak District national park 🏞️.

The lounge / dining area has the original stone fireplace with a wood burner. Original stone flooring and a juliet balcony. 2 bedrooms, both en-suite. ** Unfortunately, due to the steep steps / hard stone flooring and an open log burner, this property is not really suitable for toddlers & children under 10 years of age **
