Complete calm change of scenery in the middle of the very cozy forest

Wonderful weekend in the heart of the forest in an unusual chalet heated by a wood stove. All the necessary elements were gathered in order to have a pleasant stay! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Little more: local products available for sale on site.

We loved our stay in Bellessise, in the magnificent Pomme de Pin chalet, ideal for disconnecting in the great outdoors. Phil Cath Liz and Dave are wonderful, caring and discreet people. You absolutely must come and meet them and discover their great project!

Gite Marianne is a great house for visiting the amazing Dordogne. Aurélien is very helpful and the place is great, clean and has a lots of space. Aurélien also left us a few French delicacies which was a nice touch! The place is not very handy for people who can't climb narrow stairs though, but they have the possibility to use the outside staircase. Thank you Aurélien!

This is a nice little nice house, it is well located for visiting the Périgord. There is everything you need to make good dishes. The bedding is perfect.

The Marianne house is very nice and in summer must be a paradise. Very well equipped, ideally placed to visit Les Eyzies, Lascaux, Sarlat, etc. .... We sleep very well. Everything is very well thought for children as for adults.

Charming accommodation and very well located for visiting the Perigord.

If you are looking for a nice place to have a relaxing vacation, look no further: Aurelien's place is a peaceful haven. We initially thought we would be out and about all day every day of our week-long stay, but we felt so relaxed in the house, on the shaded patio, and by the pool that we ended up staying in most days! There is a bakery in the village, about an 8-minute walk away, and we loved getting fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning and having breakfast outdoors on the patio. If you want to do some exploring though, the house is ideally located in the Perigord Noir area, close to many prehistoric caves and beautiful small villages. A word of caution, however: the indoor staircase is very narrow and quite steep (especially going downstairs) and may not be the safest for young children and elderly people. There is, however, an outdoor staircase that also goes to the upstairs area and is much safer.

Having stayed in the area a couple of times previously we were very hopeful for this holiday and were not disappointed! Maison Marianne is a delight and is exactly as pictured / described, except the peace and tranquility which is just brilliant. We travelled with our 9 and 14 year old children who loved the pool and made good use the the outdoors areas in between sightseeing. The area is ideal for all the exciting activities on offer in the region and should we wish to return to the Dordogne, then we would definitely come back here! The accommodation is spotlessly clean with great thought having been put into it all and there is plenty of storage for suitcases and clothing. Yes the stairs inside are steep but there are handrails and you can exit from the 3rd bedroom instead with heavy suitcases! Brilliant hospitality by the host and great communication really made this a great stay.

The house Marianne is unreservedly recommended. It is lovingly, modern and furnished with great attention to detail and has every comfort that makes the house a holiday home. The pool is a dream and is cared for unnoticed by the owner early in the morning so guests can enjoy it during the day. The owner lives on the neighboring property and is always available for questions. The house and pool are not externally visible and the property of the owner is screened. The WiFi is quite weak - no problem on holiday, but important to know.

I can only thank Marie Thé for this very pleasant stay. I was looking for a relaxing and charming place for a we in love with my companion and here I am under the spell of this beautiful jewel in the middle of nature. Everything is decorated with taste, finesse and subtlety. The bedding is ultra comfortable. Marie Thé was very attentive and attentive to her travelers. Have a drink in the evening while watching the alpacas play is very pleasant and exotic. There is a real respect for nature and the surrounding calm. I recommend 200%.

A lovely rustic gite in a stunning landscape with breathtaking views from the bedrooms. Very spacious with everything we needed for a family holiday. On Christine's farm you will get a taste of rural French farm life. We were welcomed with a homemade tart and were able to buy eggs and vegetables fresh from the farm. A great location to explore the Vezere valley, the nearby town of Terrasson is beautiful with access to supermarket, fuel, pharmacy, etc.

We booked Cathy's place at quite short notice as we were on a whistle-stop tour of the region. However Cathy was warm and welcoming and very patient about my bad French! The hot tub was a truly welcome addition especially as the weather hadn't been the best and we'd got a bit damp! The cabin was well equipped and clean and tidy. Cathy has thought of everything you might need and even lent us her large torch to get to and from our car... Only wish we could have stayed longer...!!

Are you looking for privacy, space, nature and hospitality for your family? Choose this one! Two weeks enjoyed and hateful and hospitable reception from parents landlord. Helped us very well when we had to stay two days longer. For children who get bored quickly it is not recommended. Walking and cycling great success and reservoir at about a half hour drive. Rooms and house are complete and large enough for families with 2/3/4 children. Top stay. Very good!

We spent one night at Muriel´s place in the summer. The pool in the garden was perfect for refreshing ourselves after a very hot day, and the tranquility of the huge walnut orchard offered also a place for quite contemplation. The place is also great for animal lovers as the house´s cat and dog are very friendly and always ready to accept one´s affection. Above all, Muriel was a fantastic host. She prepared a dinner for us upon our arrival and together with her partner shared a very pleasant evening with us chatting about the world. We would be always very happy to return for an other visit.

Everything went very well. A place high that allows to have air when it is hot. A house that can accommodate many people, friends or family. Many things to do in the area including Terrasson next door. Super home with lots of advice.

WE had a very good time at Stephane's place. The two story house is clean and cozy with plenty of room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can ask for and the patio is pretty spacious. The gardens around the house are quite charming too. We loved it and I'd definatley recommend staying there.

The house is carefully prepared to have an unforgettable and nice stay. Clean, charming, stylish, comfortable and well managed. The location is perfect: wonderful views, calm and less than an hour by car from all the beautiful villages and interesting sites of the area. Cublac is a lovely little village with a restaurant with local menu and a good pizzeria that uses very natural, gluten-free wheat flour from a close mill. There are also beautiful and interesting paths around Cublac. If you want more, in Terrasson, seven minutes by car, you will find different supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations and a great old town. Barbara and Robert are really charming and will make you feel cared for.
