Had a wonderful stay, and would stay again. We traveled 10 hours for a funeral, and the stay at Eileen's was perfect for us. It was a great experience to come home to a clean, quiet, cozy environment after a long emotional couple of days. The upstairs shower was really neat, it has a rain shower style shower head, and is great for travelers that may need access to more than one shower. The whole place was super clean too! 5/5 stars; great host, great space, great air bnb.

Eileen's place was very clean, functional with lots of warm touches to make you feel at home. The neighborhood was pleasant and a nice place to walk the dog each morning. Eileen was on top of all communication and helpful with local resources.

This home was really nice and was more than I expected. This was my first time staying at an Airbnb and it set the tone for all of my future Airbnb stays. I was skeptical to stay so close to Flint and was worried about the neighborhood and the water. I was pleasantly surprised at how quite the street was and how clean the house was. I have family that lives in Flint and they stopped by and were very surprised at how nice the house was. Eileen was very easy to get a hold of and it made me feel even more welcome. I kept finding small things I needed in the house, like air freshener, blow dryer, condiments, seasonings, and instructions on how to use remotes, etc. There was even a “welcome guest” binder on the living room table that had little tidbits about the house, street parking, and local attractions. I’m a frequent traveler and stay at lots of hotels so I was impressed by the amenities. So for the price and location I would highly recommend staying here. I’ve already started looking at Airbnb’s for my upcoming Manhattan, New York trip. Thanks Eileen!

The house was very clean, the patio is so nice to just relax. The place looks better than the pictures. I highly recommend it and I am not tht kind of person that just gives 5 stars to be polite, but this property deserves it.

Chad was very quick to communicate and was able to accommodate us on a rather short notice! The apartment had various thoughtful touches throughout. A cozy space we enjoyed staying at for the night we were in the city.

Not large but big enough.

This is a little gem in the midst of Flint. I came here with my dog for a one night getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The space is small but beautiful and perfect for one person. I had lots of privacy and everything I needed. There was a large park right across the street that was perfect for my dog. Chad was kind and immediately responsive. I'd definitely stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mott Park Carriage House, where it seems every thought has been given towards hospitality and meeting the guest's needs. The place is lovely in its simplicity - clean, comfortable, warm, even the water is just the right temp and pressure. One feels totally at home and cared for in this space, making it perfect for a weekend getaway or even a solo spiritual retreat. It's in a historic neighborhood on a beautiful street. Having grown up near there, I had an opportunity to see this place years ago, before Chad and his family purchased the home, and the love and hard work he has poured into it has given the Carriage House a truly astonishing transformation. It is a true gift to the Airbnb community.

This garage apartment is exactly as described. Communication with the owner was quick and I had no issues at all. We were visiting Kettering and this was a super convenient place to stay!

Domonique's place was absolutely perfect. It was wonderful to have so much space- it felt like a hotel suite. The bed was very comfortable. House and neighborhood was very quiet, perfect for business travelers.

Chris's Airbnb is an excellent place to stay. Centrally located near the heart of Flint, it is close to historic downtown with restaurants, universities and colleges, parks, and a hospital nearby. Chris keeps his place immaculate and always guest-ready. His place came highly recommended by a friend who stayed there on a visit, and so I also stayed there when the opportunity arose, and was glad I did. Chris was very kind and hospitable, and he made sure my stay was a pleasant one.

Chris was an amazing host. Always accessible, friendly, and communicative. I came to flint for business and I had more than enough privacy to relax after my long days. Would gladly stay here again.

Nice good clean place to sty at

Chris was an outstanding host. He was communicative before and during my stay and helped me feel comfortable while in Flint. The neighborhood felt safe and I walked to a nearby hospital without any problems. It was walking distance and Chris helped me find the way. The house is warm and room is clean. The bed is very comfortable, sheets and towels are fresh, bathroom is very clean. There were other guests there for interviews and it really is the perfect place to stay for that purpose. I highly recommend this place. Great value and excellent host!

Wonderful place at a great value. Home was tastefully decorated , and Sammi gave off a very calm vibe which made us feel as though we had know her for years and we were very comfortable in her home from the moment we arrived. Room was a tad warm but, there was a fan right there convenient for us which was perfect. Would definitely stay again , it is such a great spot to explore Birch Run or Frankenmuth from without having to pay for the over priced accommodations in either spot.

Sammi's place is exactly as described. Super cute, artsy, sort of bohemian space. Sammi is a great host and has amazing artistic and decorating talents. She accommodated a late night arrival and was quick to respond to any questions or needs. Sammi's 8-year-old son is your average 8-year-old boy, only sweeter, quieter, and more thoughtful. Sammi is a great mom, which says all you really need to know. Space: comfortable bed, soothing space, tv. Access to kitchen and bathroom. It's a lived-in home, occupied by a family with a young kid. It feels very warm and welcoming. The only downside was that the room was right off the main living space and it's an older home, so the door didn't seal great, which meant that I could hear all the normal household noises. Not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind if you're really wanting solid rest. That said, I normally sleep with a fan, and once I turned on a soothing sleep sounds app with a fan noise and put on my eye mask, I slept great. All in all, great stay. Exactly what I needed to wind down in the midst of a really busy trip. Sammi's a great host.

Between my endless stop-dead traffic in two states and her trip out of town I didn't get to meet Sammi. But I wish I had. She answered all my questions, provided the most fun bed I've slept on in ages and her cat was adorable. I will definitely choose the Zen Den again next time I'm in Flint.

I had a great experience at Sammi's place! I checked in very late and she was very accommodating. Really neat place to stay would recommend this to anyone that is sick of staying in boring hotel rooms!

What a chill space. I walked into an empty home with captivating lighting, fascinating paintings, funky music—I loved the vibe. And Sammi was a very helpful host.

This is one of my favorite places to stay when traveling for business.

House is located in a great area in the cultural district of downtown flint. I had an assignment at one of the local hospitals and it was just minutes to my work. Make sure to have a fan, there is no central air but other than that no complaints! Sage was a gracious host and very prompt on responses, Rudy as well. If needed, would stay again

Great stay--Sgae was super accommodating when my flight was delayed and my check in times got all screw-y and late. He was amazing at communicating and I really appreciated him as a host. Didn't see much of him or other roommates while I was there--it was a great, low-key place to stay in Flint, definitely recommend!

Sage is a generous host and very accomidating. He is easy to work with and fun to hang out with. The location is walking distance to the Michigan Flint campus and the cultural centers in the area and to restaurants of Saganaw Street.

Chris was a very kind, hospitable and communicative host. He addressed any question I had, and checked in about how things were going during my 5-day stay. The atmosphere was calm, the bed comfortable, and the room warm- I slept like a baby. The house was quite secure, and very close to both downtown and the University of Michigan-Flint. I would definitely stay here again!

I would like to thank Chris for being a nice and a helpful host, he tried to make my short stay in Flint easier. I enjoyed Netflix in my private room and I appreciate driving me to the airport in the early morning.

Very clean and comfortable bed

Super clean and cozy. The bed is so comfortable, I didn't want to go home. Breanna is quick to respond to messages. If I go to Flushing again, I will definitely see if the West Wing is available.

I could write a joyful blog around my one night stay here though I'll sum it up like this.... There's Airbnb's that are clearly driven by financial motive, then there's Airbnb's that are clearly driven by a just cause. This one can easily be labeled in the rare category of the latter of those two. Breanna's "The West Wing" is the definition of excellence in all aspects. Ridiculously amazing :) You are plain lucky if you find this place and it's available.

We were welcomed with personal touches, made us feel like we were home with family. Our names on welcome sign out front! Welcome note, box of chocolates, and a personal welcome from Breanna. Wonderful variety of coffee, tea, snacks. We will stay again when we are in the area. We needed to stay an extra day. Breanna rearranged her schedule to accommodate us. This stay came with so many amenities that we weren't expecting. It was very convenient and saved us from having to run to the store for miscellaneous items. I was so grateful for the Keurig & coffee/tea selection. It was a very comfortable space with a romantic easy to use fireplace and a cozy living room. The bed comforter was also heavenly! It was nice to have our own private space and felt completely separate from the house which shares a gorgeous view with a golf course. There was We will definitely be back!

A.J.'s place was perfect for our weekend in Flint. The location was great, and having a designated private parking spot was nice; the neighbors were friendly too. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed (even some items we forgot to bring). The hall closet was well stocked with linens and travel items, and there was a welcome snack basket and bottled water, which was a very appreciated touch. Check in was very easy and well explained. Overall this was a great experience and an excellent value. We would happily stay here again if we find ourselves in Flint in the future.

A.J. Place was very clean and decorated well. kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. A snack basket and cold bottle water. Sharon was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Her home is beautiful and every bedroom was clean and very beautifully decorated. My family loved the open kitchen we had breakfast and loved how we had so much room to entertain everyone. We will definitely be booking again !

Great place and great hosts

Lovely, peaceful getaway! We came to Sharon's Place during visit with our son during the family weekend at Kettering University. The house is beautiful. Sharon has a great taste in decorating which we enjoyed. For us to have all the extra room of a big house for the family to unwind and spend time together was special. She had nice special touches with an available coffee bar as well as a welcome cookie mix jar (which my son and girlfriend found fun to bake). Beds were comfortable. Our favorite part was the awesome back porch and the secluded back corner lot that made us feel like we were in woods somewhere. Neighborhood was on edge of small town, and we felt comfortable walking around neighborhood. Mexican Restaurant in town Los Cabos was great, and we had fun walking through Crossroads Village and riding Huckleberry Railroad and Paddleboat just minutes down the road. Would definitely go back when in Flint. Note: only one full bath and the only TV which was downstairs, worked with Amazon Fire which host did provide (neither was a problem for us)

The location is just minutes away from downtown and the Flint Farmers Market. There’s a food truck that has awesome Indian food, definitely check that out. Jon’s place was clean and a very nice place to stay. We’ll definitely book there again!

Here are some details: Location: This area of downtown Flint is awesome and has some really great restaurants, shops, and theaters (the Capitol and UM Flint's theater come to mind), all in walking distance. It is convenient to other great locations such as the Flint Institute of Art and the Children's Museum. There is also parking right next to Jon's place that is designated for the guest. I enjoy living downtown and felt as safe in this area of downtown Flint as I have felt in other downtown locations in other major cities. Jon's place: The apartment was in immaculate condition. It was extremely clean with thoughtful touches throughout. This is a restored house that has a really neat bathtub shower and a beautiful wooden stair case approaching the apartment from the entrance. Jon did an amazing job preparing the apartment for the stay. Also, for those with questions about staying downtown, I felt secure during my entire stay at Jon's place. Host: Jon was a perfect host, responding promptly to all my messages. Everything was exactly as promised, and check in was a breeze. Overall: This was an excellent experience. I would definitely stay here again and as I am moving to the area, I will be recommending Jon's place to others.

This is such an adorably decorated place! So many beautiful details made my stay wonderful (cocoa, popcorn, bubble bath, tray on bed, easy entry access, etc). Perfect walking distance to downtown (I was visiting Avi Om Studio) and a lovely walking path across the Flint River.

Had an excellent stay - genuinely as comfortable as one can ask for being a shared space. My girlfriend is usually a fan of private stays, but she felt more than comfortable and truly enjoyed a great stay and good rest after a long drive. Exceptional hospitality, immediate helpful responses, and great views of the water on this beautiful property! Would absolutely reccomend to anyone considering booking this listing, 5/5 stars all around!

Beautiful destination! Came up here for the weekend to celebrate a friend's wedding. When we arrived, we were greeted with a sweet note and everything we needed to know. Very thoughtful and sweet.

Great place to stay when visiting Frankenmuth! Clean, charming house and a great host.

Great place to stay! Three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Master bedroom has a bed with the ability to raise the head of the bed with a remote, which was great for reading in bed. This would also be great for someone with a health reason to elevate the head of the bed. One and a half baths, with the full bathroom in the master suite. Comfortable and clean, nicely decorated in cottage style. Full size washer and dryer available in the basement. Large front porch complete with rockers, which we unfortunately were unable to use because we stayed in winter. I would love to stay here again!

Great space for you and your dog. There was a lot of thought put into enjoying your trip with your pet. I really appreciated the enclosed background area for the dogs to run around and the ability to enclose the deck area as well. The dogs had fun exploring safely! Location is just a quick drive from Frankenmuth which was perfect!

Once again, an amazing weekend spent at Dan & Diane’s place. The weather was beautiful, fishing was great, dogs are happy - life is good! Even still, three nights does not feel long enough. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to be.

Dan’s place is gorgeous and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Dan is very welcoming as well and I hope to come back one day ☺️

You can always expect a lovely stay at Dan and Diane's place! This was my third stay with them within this year. They keep all of the property extremely clean, the bedding will be freshly laundered and line dried ( it reminds me of when I was young climbing into bed at my grandmother's) and you will find a fire circle ready to use that evening for making smores no matter when you visit. The lakes are always interesting to watch, whether it be to sit by the fire and watch the sunset over the lakes or take a late night walk around the lakes and see the wildlife that might be out that evening! This trip we saw a muskrat creating quite a wake as he made his trip back and forth across the lake late at night! The neighborhood owl sang us to sleep on a very chilly night in August! No fears, I brought my heavy down duvet and Dan provided a space heater that kept us nestled warm enough that we kicked the down off of our feet about 3am! Do yourself a favor and go stargazing at night, the shooting stars are amazing and in August the Milky Way looks like someone left dust in the sky! Yeah, everything is pretty awesome at Oak Hill.

Great place to stay

Sage’s place far exceeded my expectations. I had a 30 day work project in Grand Blanc and I could not have asked for a better set up than my experience with Sage’s property. My room was big and clean and the overall value was as good as it can possibly get on Air B&B. I met Rudy who manages surrounding properties, he encourages everybody to contact him if they need anything. I locked my keys in my room and Rudy came over to help no more than 5 minutes after I contacted him. Sage is the best host. He worked tirelessly while on vacation to attend to the special requests I asked of him. Even jumped my car for me when the battery died one night. The xfinity cable tv w/ HBO set up in the living room was great. I have already reserved the same room for my next trip back.

Perry and Patty’s place was even better than we expected! It’s centrally located, clean, comfortable and spacious. Perry and Patty were great hosts and were super responsive. They even left us fresh cookies from the local bakery! We’d love to come back and stay again!

My husband and I stayed in Perry and Patty's home for 4 nights with 3 of our friends. The location was perfect. Close to Frankenmuth and the Flint Reperatory Theatre, our destinations. There are great restaurants, bakeries and shopping within minutes. The special touches they provided were so nice. Everything was new and beautiful. The luxury of sleeping comfortably and being able to have some meals in while traveling made the trip so relaxing. We were able to watch a big football game on the big TV, and we are all still friends. I highly recommend Perry and Patty's if you are in the area.

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful home. We were 3 families with a total of 8 people, and we fit very comfortably. The owners, Perry and Patty, were easy to communicate with and quick to reply to any questions we had. All the directions and instructions to the house were complete and comprehensive. It was a great location within walking distance to town yet not far from freeways. Truly a fantastic experience!

Highly recommend staying at Perry and Patty’s beautiful, welcoming and pristine home. Everything is brand new. I told Perry and Patty they should go into interior decorating. Go and stay there just to take a bath in the roomy and luxurious tub and sleep in the comfortable beds with plenty of pillows! Easy peasy check-in and checkout. Safe community. Plenty of places to eat/order from. Airport is only 20 minutes away. Oh! And the delightful personal touches...fresh baked cookies, bath bombs, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If we are ever back in that area again, we will definitely be staying here.

Omg! Th is was one of the nicest places I have stayed. Decorated better than any place I have been in - looked like it was ready for a magazine shoot. Very nice! It was also very welcoming. Everything seemed to be new inside. Great location too. We had family in town and we walked to their location. Highly recommended. Perry was very funny to speak to. Very quick to answer a few questions I had. Thanks Perry. Never spoke to Patty. But, she must have helped decorate this place. Thanks again!!

The room was a nice loft style room and the place was quiet and very close to downtown. 10/10 would stay again.

Sage was very responsive and considerate of the unexpected and unavoidable changes in our travel plans. The studio was an excellent respite before and after my mother in law's funeral. We'd definitely consider the accommodations if we ever return to Flint.

Sage was a great host. He was very prompt with communication, answered every question I had, and everything was as expected. Apartment was clean and quiet. You get what you pay for! If you are young (or your back won’t mind an old spring mattress) and need a relatively cheap place to stay, Sage’s is great!
