I booked this place for my family's stay for 2 nights. When they arrived, they already noticed the welcome board with their name :) The host is nice & friendly with fluent english speaking so no communication problem. The house itself is in traditional Japanese style with renovation which is good (clean & tidy). Location is convenient. Just 1 min by walk you can reach some restaurants & convenient store. The place is so quiet that they can have a good sleep. They really enjoy to stay in Yoga house and will recommend to our friends too :)

While the day of arrival at my convenience is not clear, was saved will carefully respond. I was able to spend comfortable to have been renovated in the space towards the home can also be relaxed. I cannot say enough about our experience staying at Yoga House, and being hosted by the lovely Wakana. The home has a classic Japanese style and has been remodeled with love just as the description says. It is spacious and comfortable, and perfectly clean and tidy and well appointed. The location of this house is excellent for exploring Mito- just a block from the bus line, and easy to drive from here to downtown, the large central park with lake, or to drive east to the pacific ocean. I can't wait to return to Mito and stay longer at the Yoga house!

I stayed at yoga house for 3 months during an internship and it was the best experience ever. Wakana is so friendly and helpful, she made my stay do enjoyable! The house is lovely and really spacious and it's so great being able to enjoy yoga while during your stay-the perfect way to relax after a long day! The neighbourhood is so safe and there is a convenience store, a supermarkets, drug stores and a laundrette all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Mito station is about 30 minutes away or 10 minutes (about 1000yen) in a taxi so it's also really convenient and easy to get to. I can't recommend Wakana and yoga house enough-I had a fantastic time and that was mostly due to Wakana and the lovely yoga house!

Where can I even begin? Wakana-san is such a wonderful soul, she made me feel so welcome and cared for from the moment she picked me up at Mito station. The place was gorgeous, peaceful and you can tell a lot of care went into making it the way it is now. She even left us a bowlful of Ibaraki's famous melons in the fridge and an adorable little souvenir of the prefecture's mascot. I definitely want to stay here again, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Wakana was an amazing host. Picked me up from the bus station and showed me around town. Yoga house is an amazing space full of great energy and quiet. I wish I had more time to interact with Wakana and may be practice some yoga together but it was such a busy trip. I would recommend Wakana as a host. She is really really nice.

U can feel the every effort they had put to make this handmade yogahouse as comfortable as possible. This is the warmest place that i had ever stayed, thank you for making our stay so special, definitely will visit again

Firstly I would like to thank Wakana for hosting me even though it's only for 1 night. Yoga House was super big, cosy and comfortable! Everything works perfectly, from futon, the bed, the shower, the heater, the toilet, the stove and everything! Wakana and Husband was calm and patience when I arrived late and they even drove me to the house and showed me directions to the place I'm heading, so cute couples :D I would recommend you to book this place if you were to visit the Mito!

My family and I stayed here for 3 months related to a work assignment. It was an absolutely perfect place for the 2 of us and our 1-year-old son. The apartment is easily walkable to grocery stores, pharmacies, stores and restaurants. It is also very close to a bus stop for getting to downtown Mito and back. We did not have a car during our time in Mito, and did not miss it at all. We loved the location in a nice, safe neighborhood. It is a bit far from downtown (by foot) and not the most lively district at night, but we liked that and appreciated the residential feel. We were close to great green spaces (along the river toward Senba) and playground for our son. The apartment itself is quite spacious for 3 people. We loved the tatami room. The mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully appointed, and the in-unit washing machine/dryer combo made doing laundry simple. We corresponded mainly with co-host Takeshi Hatakawa, and he was very responsive to all of our requests and questions. As an example, before we arrived, he got us internet service for the apartment per our request. At the time I was looking, Mito did not have a wide selection of available rentals. I was really glad to find this place - we loved our stay there, and were very happy with Takeshi's willingness to make sure we had everything we needed.

Ryo's house is spacious and very clean. Every amenity we needed was provided, including a hair dryer and iron. The kitchen was also well-equipped, and we were able to cook breakfast there easily. There's also a small supermarket across the road which made it really convenient to pick up food and travel necessities. It was an easy half hour drive to Hitachi Flower Park from the neighbourhood, we had a lovely stay in Oarai. Thanks Ryo!

Very clean and neat house! It is definitely more than you expected and paid. There are all the things that you daily need and make you feel like you are home. Everything In the house is in good condition and the toiletries are good quality. The location is very easy to find From the station or to the 大洗鳥居. The drugstore is just opposite to the house and open until 24:00. If you can find all you need there. Ryo san is very responsive, helpful and caring. :) 大洗is a great place to relax and explore. Ryo was a friendly and helpful host who was always within reach. We were pleasantly surprised by the expanse of the apartment, it was definitely beyond what we expected. Ryo also equipped the room with amenities and food. It was an enjoyable stay and i would definitely recommend his apartment to anyone visiting ibaraki!

About 10 to 15 minutes walk from the station. So take it within walking distance of the main street, never get lost. The place was huge and the host went the extra mile to make me feel welcomed. Picked me up from train station and drove me around town to view the Sakura. Bought drinks and snacks for my stay and gave me some souvenirs of Japan as well! Provided lots of information of the area and things to do/eat. Place is quite near the train station and central area, and just 5min walk to a 24hr 7-11 store. Lots of space for a very decent price and comfortable home. Highly recommended.
