Fantastic stay! I arrived at Tanja and Heath's after a long, tiring day of hiking at Mt. Rainier. They were so warm and welcoming - offering me great tips on where to hike, as well as cold water and watermelon! My room was great - complete with a very comfortable bed and a view of Mt. Rainier. I woke up to the sun rising over Mt. Rainier which was incredible. The house is beautiful and I had all the amenities I needed. Would love to return some time. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time at Tanja and Heath's cabin! They made us feel welcome immediately in their charming house. From the beginning, Tanja made it clear that they would give us space and privacy or offer more interaction if we wanted to hang out -- transparency and communication are key! They were generous with recommendations and left lovely treats for us which we appreciated! We had a great little getaway in their sweet cabin. I would highly recommend to anyone in terms of the space and wonderful hosts!!!

We had a wonderful experience. The property was just as described in the ad. The bedroom and bed were clean and comfortable. This was our first experience using air BnB, so had a bit of apprehension not knowing what the hosts would be like. Health and Tanja were wonderful hosts, easily accommodating. They had great suggestions on areas to explore. The property was beautiful with many of the trees in full blossom, we also had beautiful flowers in our room every day. Our only regret is that we got busy and did not spend more time on the property. We would gladly return again. Thank you Tanja and Health for a wonderful stay.

We felt like we'd stepped into a mountain oasis. This log home in which we rented a room was truly a piece of artistic craftsmanship and elegant yet simple taste. We absolutely loved the home and our hosts. They could not have been more gracious and welcoming. The architecture of the house truly has to be seen to be appreciated, but natural wood abounds. We loved our Boston themed room, the privacy door, the beautiful windows and the extremely comfortable bed. The outdoor porch spaces and view were also fantastic niches to relax and appreciate the wild rabbits frolicking, the mountains in the mist, the super moon, and resident spider webs at dawn. The guest shower is also a splendid experience. I especially appreciated Tanya's scratch made ginger tea with honey. I've been craving it since.

Sometimes when you travel (when you are lucky enough) you might stumble upon home and love flourishing far from the concrete world. Outside of the time faded remnants of an old logging town perches a lavishly loved garden on top of a hill. A forest manner has sunk deep roots amongst the green looking out over the hills. 20 minutes of meandering country roads from the Olympia farmers market, bike trails at the bottom of the hill, and good local food. What's not to love?

Staying with Tanja and Heath at the Rainier Log Cabin was a wonderful experience. I was made to feel very comfortable and very welcome. I especially enjoyed our deck side conversations overlooking Mt Rainier and their beautiful gardens. I would return in a heart beat!

We had a short, yet wonderful stay at Tanja and Heath's lovely home in Ranier, WA. Their house is clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The bedroom was so cozy we didn't want to leave. The bed was very comfortable which hasn't always been the case at other Airbnb's we've stayed at. We especially enjoyed eating our breakfast on their covered wrap around porch. Tanja and Heath were warm and welcoming; they made us feel right at home! It was an extra treat to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous yarn they sell on-line. Check out Etsy store at Living Dreams Yarn and Fiber. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Firstly, the owner is very friendly. The owner keeps the house clean and lovely. We would use the kitchen freely. The location is good for visiting Mt. Rainier.

Nice place for a night to stay

Nancy is very nice, we stayed one night during our trip from Rainier to Olympic. This place is really quiet and perfect for a good night of rest for such an affordable price!

I enjoyed my stay at Nancy's place. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have my own bathroom. Nancy cleared space for me in the refrigerator and made me feel very welcome to use the kitchen (and tea collection!) and make myself at home. Her location is out in the country outside of town, so it was very quiet and retreat like. Nancy is a very interesting person to get to know, as well. Very nice. Thank you!

Willie was more than accommodating! She went out of her way to ensure my privacy! She made me feel at home and made herself available if I needed anything! The suite was clean and comfortable! I had access to all the facilities--kitchen, work out room, library! Amazing! The location was very close to where I was taking a seminar! I will definitely be back!

I fully recommend this Airbnb if you are going to be staying in the Yelm area. This house is beautiful and the yard and surrounding area equally as beautiful. Willie is the perfect host and we felt so welcome. Our needs were not much but Willie went out of her way to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

I had a great time. The accommodations were fantastic with private entrance to the bedroom. Everything was lovely and room super comfortable. Willie made me feel really welcomed. Would definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Willie was a wonderful host and has an absolutely beautiful house and land. We were very comfortable while staying at her place. It was perfect distance to Aspen farm and very convenient for us going back and forth. The private entrance was ideal for us with our muddy shoes coming home from the horse farm. She was very generous offering us fruit, nuts, coffee, etc. and she gave us our space. I plan to go there again for our next trip to Yelm for sure!

Willie was very accommodating and gracious to my last minute plans. The room, bathroom, house, backyard, and country setting were very comfortable and enjoyable. Restaurants were 10-15 minutes away. It might have been smart to get dinner before getting there, but going back out was also fine. It was great having breakfast at her place. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps wasn't accurate, so be sure to use directions provided by Willie.

This was SUCH a beautiful place to stay. The master suite was comfortable and clean, with upscale finishes like in-floor heating in the bathroom, granite countertops throughout and lots of ways to control the temperature in the room (space heater for extra heat, ceiling fan, electric blankets on the super comfy bed). The tulips in the vase were gorgeous, too. :) It was the perfect place to stay while I competed with my horse at Aspen Farms. I enjoyed the private entrance to the master suite, as I got in pretty late each night after long days competing, and I was glad I didn't have to bother the host. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!

My wife and I felt very comfortable and welcome in Willie's spacious home in a brand new housing development. Access through the garage and laundry room into the home's master bedroom suite(where we stayed) was super convenient for us, because we were in Yelm for an equestrian event and generally very dirty–so we didn't have to worry about tracking hay and dirt into the house. Our room was like a 5 star hotel, very clean and bigger than an average hotel room. There was a comfy couch, a desk, and a VERY comfortable bed, warm electric blanket, and free WIFI. The large tiled shower and heated floor tiles were very welcome after a long day sweating at a horse show. We had plenty of towels and soaps provided for us, and never needed to ask for anything. We were encouraged to use the modern HE laundry facilities although we didn't need to. We were also encouraged to use the TV in the living room and the library full of books, but we barely crossed paths with Willie or her pet dog as we were out early and in late. Our room was very quiet, and we were not disturbed by anyone else in the house or any noises whatsoever–and the dog was quiet as a mouse and never barked once! Parking in the driveway was perfect, and a very short walk into the room. If you are an eventer or spectator at Aspen Farms, Willie's home is a 5 minute drive and much closer than the hotels in Yelm. We look forward to staying here on our next trip to Yelm!

Em and Amber were wonderful hosts. They were quick to respond to any questions and graciously willing to accommodate our late check in. They went above and beyond by making us a delicious homemade breakfast.

The hosts are really nice people. I'm a student and I needed a place to stay while on rotation. I slept most of the time I was there. I had no problems falling asleep it is a quite and friendly home. The hosts are happy to help in any way they can. Needless to stay my first Airbnb experience was a success.

Staying at JoAnn's and Cass's was fantastic. There was excellent pre-visit communication and JoAnn prepared a boat ride around the lake while we were there. It was resort style living through AirBnB at its finest.

Janice, David, and Max are just the best. From the moment I entered their home I felt like I was long lost family returning for a visit. I came down to Yelm just to get away for a weekend and relax. Janice and David became my full time tour guide. We kayaked together, went to dinner, watched football, and even went to a local rodeo. I don't always hangout with airbnb hosts but this was the best. I joined them for breakfast one morning and we even made some apple cider with apples straight from the trees outside. They are sole of the kindest people you will ever meet and the room was just what I needed to relax in after a day of adventures. Thanks for everything!

Janice and David are very gracious hosts. They made us feel right at home. We enjoyed our talks with them. The view of Mt Rainier from their deck is fabulous! Yelm is a really pretty town with many restaurants and stuff to do.

The place itself was spacious, family friendly, very well maintained, clean and nicely appointed; elegant but felt casual. We competed at the highland games in Enumclaw both days. At other games we attend, after the day is done our group often says "let's go to a restaurant" but Sat. of our stay it was a resounding "let's make dinner at the Yelm House!" The eleven of us made dinner, felt at 'home' and enjoyed both the kitchen - family room and the outside seating overlooking the meadow, and we talked the night away. Thank you again for opening your house to us. Six out of 5 stars!

The house was amazing and very well furnished, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! The only complaint I heard from my group was no wifi, but for me it was nice to say forget work and relax without having to be on my computer all the time.

This was a perfect place for our small family reunion. Each couple had their own space with the 4 bedrooms upstairs each having a queen bed. The kids loved the jungle room-it is even better than the pictures can show. It was on a quiet street with plenty of space between the neighbors. On a clear day excellent views of Mt. Rainier are not far from the house.

it's a big place in the wilds. we didn't know what to expect, and it seemed to us like a slice of American country living. very hospitable and welcoming hosts. Plenty of tea and coffee left for immediate settling in. Good location for access to Seattle (just over an hour), and Mount St HElens etc.

Great place! We had a wonderful time. We stayed here for our trip to Rainer. The best were comfy and the sheets were SO soft. The wifi worked great. This place is remote and quite. Had a peaceful stay in an home that had all the amenities we needed.

This is a wonderful country getaway and it is 30 minutes from the Sports Hub in Centralia. The apartment is separate from the owner's home on the property - very private! We stayed there during my daughter's basketball tournament and this setting is far superior to the hotels on the concrete strip in downtown Centralia. I loved the forested setting and sounds of nature including various bird calls. On one side, you can see a very large pond, and on the other one can hear and see the creek. Close to the home on a dead end road, my daughter enjoyed swimming in the river. Be sure to open the owner's directions to the apartment on his email. Enjoy!!

Tammy was a wonderful host and was quick to help us with anything we needed. The motorhome was quite comfortable and the queen size bed in the master bedroom proved to be the best bad that we have slept on yet at an Airbnb. The view or Mt. Rainier in this neighborhood was amazing and huge! I loved how relaxed this stay is and that the yard tom cat came and loved on me and Bell, the yellow lab, sat at my feet while I was relaxing with a glass of chilled white, after a long day of riding at Aspen Farms, she was just so happy to be chilling...

I had a lovely motor home experience at Tammy's place. It's clean and fully equipped. It has everything I needed, including cereals and coffee etc. It's a quiet place with beautiful scenery. Tammy is very welcoming. She gave me a ride when I felt I could really use one. They have a super friendly cat named Al, two horses and two dogs, which are bonus to me. I will definitely recommend Tammy's motor home to my friends if they visit this place.

This stay was so wonderful! Jan and her friend Randy helped to make our time here fantastic. We came in very late and Jan waited up for us to show us around the house before we went to bed. She had fresh flowers and drinking water for us to enjoy when we arrived, and was very kind to us for the duration of our time there. The next day she showed us around her property, and we watched Randy shoe one of the horses. There were 3 horses while we were there, and we were able to play with them all. Jan went well above and beyond to be a super host to us. The bathroom is incredible, the bedroom is great. Decor throughout the house is unique, intriguing, and pleasing to the eye. Everything was clean. The setting really can't be beat, perfectly surrounded by plants and nature sounds with no light pollution, while only a few miles from the main city. We are so happy to have chosen to stay here, and hope to visit again sometime! We recommend you stay with Jan!

Janis was great at communicating prior to arriving and made sure we were comfortable with directions to her place and what to do on arrival. The house was quirky, quaint and comfortable, both indoor and outdoor. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property. Janis made us feel very welcome and was a wonderful hostess.

I found staying at Janis' place very peaceful and the perfect location to spend time visiting Mt. Rainier and Olympia as well as the Pacific coast. I had a great stay at the "Luxury in quite farmhouse". Janis made me feel welcome from the first hello. It is a wonderful quite location where I enjoyed watching the deer and fawns out of my bedroom window. I will certainly stay there again if the opportunity presents itself and would highly recommend this place to my friends.

Janis was warm, gracious, easy to contact and super helpful with directions in finding her house (not difficult but she has shortcuts); once we were there WOW what a magical and eclectic place! Finch aviary to the left, huge warm working wood stove to the right, grow room with huge happy plants straight ahead. The bedroom is private being at the opposite end of the house to hers, we had a clean and private bathroom to ourselves, though we didn't use it the outdoor sauna looks awesome. The only thing I wished for was more time to hear Janis's story. Thanks!

Janis is awesome! She communicated with me about our arrival. She made us feel right at home and was responsive to our needs. We stayed for 9 days and shared her kitchen with ease and developed the "kitchen dance"! Jan's home is very special. You can tell that a lot of love and work has been done with her home and property. We slept like babies and woke up every morning looking out our bedroom window gazing at some beautiful trees. We are new to the area and were looking for a place called home. She went above board and made some phone calls to people she new that could help us find our home. We really appreciated her kindness. We would definitely recommend this wonderful home.

What a joy to stay at Janis' home. Clean, homey, peaceful, beauty of the outside and inside meld together so beautifully. My fav is the back porch, lounging futon or foam area with pillows is great to read, listen to nature whispering and all the glorious rainbow of colors in her yard, barn, wood shack. Her finchies going in & out of the aviary and watching them from the kitchen and wee living room was fun. Our room was simple and clean, but to get to our bathroom was a little awkward because you have to walk across the LR and kitchen/dining area,

Nice location, and excellent host, who went out of her way to help us with our questions, and provided us with things we didn't bring.. If there is any drawback, the place does not have a feel of complete privacy. Kitchen door is glass (no blinds), and windows over the bed similarly have no blinds.

Sally was an amazing host. She thought of everything. There were fruits, jams, home made granola, and eggs waiting for us when we arrived. The location was beautiful, and the suite was very nice. The bed was really comfortable too.

Sally's cottage in Tenino was wonderful. She had great communication and made sure I was comfortable. The town was expecting a power outage due to weather (which didn't happen) and Sally made sure I was aware and prepared. When I arrived, I got in a bit later than I had expected, but Sally was still there to greet me and show me around. The cottage has everything you need for your stay, including some extra provided breakfast items. Sally provided me some delicious Kale from the garden and homemade jam! The gardens on the property and nearby scenery were stunning. The plants and birds were absolutely gorgeous and fun to see. It felt so nice to get away from the busy city that I'm used to. I recommend Sally's place to any traveller.

What an absolutely wonderful set-up!! Sally really set us up nicely including the items to make a great breakfast of coffee, eggs, english muffins, yogurt and pear butter to help us get on our way the next morning. Thanks so much! I would definitely stay here again.

Anyone looking for a place to rest and experience should consider this place. It is located in the country and very secure. The small community of Tenino is great and offers several resources. The Cottage is small and very clean and cozy. We loved it.

Wonderful place to stay. You look out over a huge vegetable garden with sunflowers Sally says were planted by the chipmunks. The property is an oasis for many types of birds. Saw a family of quail, many humming birds, doves and a large variety of others. A squirrel greeted me, a hawk landed outside my window and a family of quail were eating and cooling themselves in the garden on my last day. A very special place worth much more then it is priced. Exceptionally clean and exceptional hosts.

Communication was great and almost everything was as advertised or better. The only negative was that the hot tub was not working and, to be honest, the hot tub was the main reason we booked this spot. Mose was our host, and he was super friendly and helpful. He let us borrow his balsamic vinegar, gave us some of his farm fresh eggs, and shared all kinds of goodies with us. He went above and beyond. We would love to come back when the hot tub is fixed. Thanks for a nice weekend!

This is a really lovely property perfect if you want to get away from it all somewhere remote.

Very nice, spacious place, nicely furnished and very new, we must have been among the first guests to stay there. Very uncommon (but pleasant!) is the heated outdoor pool and hot tub - enjoyed that quite a bit in the afternoons. The hosts have been very friendly and communicative and tried to help us with all questions we had. The house is on a farm (very rural area) so you get to see lots of animals - would also be a great place for kids. On the downside (and that's why we didn't give 5 stars) there was still a lot of development activity going on on the outside (landscaping, building, ...) hence it was a bit noisy during the day. Also, since the place is so new there were still some things missing in the apartment (kitchen utensils and such) ... Bottom line is - we enjoyed staying there despite the little flaws and the place is definitely a recommendation, especially once the outside work is finished.

Quite honestly we had an amazing retreat which exceeded our expectations in every way. Auriel and Moz' magical homestead is perfectly situated halfway between Seattle and Portland and just a short distance off the highway out in the quiet countryside. No light pollution here, perfect for star gazing. Our kind hosts made us feel very welcome, even offering us organic eggs and greens from the 120 acre plus farm. The comfortable 2 bedroom apartment was very clean and meticulously crafted. The pictures in the posting do not do it justice. Their unique crystal saltwater spa and pool were incredible, very relaxing and something you might expect to find at a 5 star resort. Surrounding the courtyard and hot tub you will find several large crystals that light up through the night via fiber optics. We found this magical place to be very relaxing and restorative.

Log house is spacious with lots of room to spread out. The view from the deck is beautiful! We loved paddling on the lake with the provided kayak and canoe. With smaller children we opted to swim at a beach in nearby Lacy. We had a truly great time! And made some great memories.
