Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. Our Seward Park Studio is part of a home that has been in the same family since it was built in 1956. Remodeled in 2015 and thoughtfully designed with a smaller footprint in mind, the Studio is steps from Lake Washington and filled with natural light from an east-facing wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Despite its smaller footprint, it has a full kitchen, a queen bed with an organic mattress and Avocado topper, dining and workspace areas, and a spacious walk-in steam shower.

My place is close to Seward Park and its beach, old growth forest, and trails, to several synagogues, and to Columbia City. You’ll love my place because of the location, the views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier, the tranquility yet proximity to downtown--1/2 a block to the bus that goes to light rail. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
