Places to stay in Shelsley Walsh
Start the day with a coffee in the courtyard at The Bothy a characterful hideaway with preserved period features, from exposed bricks to arched windows and doors. Light the wood-burning stove and snuggle up after a refreshing country walk.
Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room with kitchenette and Woodburning Stove, entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with private en suite shower room. Through a door in the wall of the Victorian walled garden of our home is The Bothy, originally home to the workers that tended the gardens for the manor house, The Noak, and the horses in The Coach House. The Bothy sits in the gardens of the Coach House, a perfect haven for two. Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with en suite shower room. Your stay includes your own heated private Bothy; Wood for the wood burner; in-room mini-fridge, kettle & toaster; Fresh (and super soft) towels and bedding; Flat-screen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player (ask if you want something to watch we have looads!); FREE Wi-Fi; FREE Breakfast cereals, bread, butter, milk, jams, sugar, tea, coffee; Bose Bluetooth Speaker; Mini hob; slow cooker and cookbooks; There's a lovely patio outside your front door with bistro table and chairs. The bed I've been told by many a friend that it's super comfy; Lovely warm duvet, choice of pillows and extra blankets. Free parking on the private drive. Behind The Bothy, through a slightly overgrown part of the garden that we haven't quite started to tend yet, is a working farm. If you're here at harvest time you may hear some noise from the harvesters but it's always short lived and adds to the country feel. Of course if you're here during lambing season, you will hear the newborn lambs saying hello to the world, take a look at some of the photos as our family said hello this spring! An incredible time of year to visit! During the end of summer the garden is full of apple, plum, pear, damson and figs which you're welcome to pick. And of course the flowers are in full bloom and the garden looks lovely. It's not perfect, definitely a work in progress, but lovely nontheless. Autumn and winter leave the garden looking slightly more sparse as you'd expect but with that the walks from here that time of year are stunning with the sun low in the sky and the colours the ever changing landscape offers. Beyond the farm, and at the end of the garden are sweeping fields with public footpaths that take you to stunning views. Just ask for guidance and we have maps ready. There's great walks and easy access to the well know Worcestershire Way Walk (33miles in total,) but not compulsory! You can do bits of it according to how much you're in the mood for! If you're traveling light and want to keep it that way we have a selection of wellies you can choose from if the weather requires it. Plus toiletries in your en suite and if you use the washer we have washing liquids and softeners for you to use. If you're unsure please just ask! Or if you forget a toothbrush or anything let me know I may have a spare (in packet don't worry!) You have your own self contained room with en suite bathroom and wood burning stove so you'll have your own cosy space to cuddle up in! We won't enter your space at all during your stay. Although you won't have absolute access to our home, you'd be welcome to use the washer/dryer-see extra details. We have tried to ensure you have everything you need to make your holiday easy and enjoyable from the start-The bothy has a fridge and kettle and toaster, plus mini hob and a slow cooker. Cereals, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter and Jams are provided. We will be here to welcome you and The Bothy is in the garden of our home so you will probably see us coming and going. We will ultimately leave you to enjoy your break but will be easily accessible should you need us! If you're staying for a week or more we will arrange to change the linen and towels and to do a surface clean at a time that is convenient for you. We are on the edge of a small village, very much in the countryside. The village has a shop and post office within walking distance (less than 10 mins there, slightly more back as it's uphill that way!) The closest pub is a good walk away but drivable in about 4 mins. There are several pubs within a couple of miles which are more appropriate for a drive or a bike ride. Closest supermarket is on the edge of Worcester roughly 7 miles. There's golf within 8 miles, walks from a few miles up to the famous Worcestershire Way of 33 miles in total. Fishing within 5 miles. There's a lovely walk to the River Teme in around 20-25 minutes. The Malvern Hills are around 20 minutes drive and some of the most famous villages in The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are within an hour or so drive. I have lots of extra info for you when you arrive if you want it, I'm happy to help you find the activity you're looking for ! You can get here by bus from Worcester if you're traveling in on the train as there is a bus service into and from Worcester. We are about 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from Birmingham airport. Around 1hr 45 minutes drive from Bristol Airport. If you need a lift please always ask, we'd be happy to help where possible. We are a family with kids, ages 6, 8, 15 and 17 we have a dog and a cat. The dog is small an uber friendly, the cat is scared of the dog so if the dog is there the cat won't be! We're not rowdy but you're bound to hear us coming and going and chatting and potentially some playing and giggling, so long as you don't mind being on the edge of a friendly, family environment we'd love to welcome you! If you'd like to use the washer and dryer in the utility room of our house you're welcome, just let me know as soon as you can-you can imagine it's a well used area in our family! Pets are welcome but please chat with me before booking. Your own private Bothy and you're welcome to wander around our gardens and grounds. If you need a washer/dryer please ask, it's defintely possible to use. £3 a load, wash and dry to cover costs and liquids etc. We will ultimately leave you to enjoy your break but will be easily accessible should you need us! If you're staying for a week or more we will
The estate is on the edge of a small village in the countryside, with a pub close by & a shop & post office within walking distance. The Malvern Hills are around 20 minutes' drive away and The Cotswold s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is about 50mins drive away:

  • The effort and detail was amazing. I liked the size of the shower cubicle - lots of elbow room, the cleanliness of the toilet, the bread and milk that was provided as well as the toiletries/ sanitary supplies, the Bose wireless speaker sounded great, good quality crockery. All of this made for a great stay. I would stay again and recommend it.

  • Diana is a great host. Staying there on my own it was just right. Restful, comfortable and beautiful surroundings... Pheasants, woodpeckers, wrens, jays....:)

    Rachael2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • A really get property with everything we needed in a lovely rural location. Diana is a really welcoming host and was very helpful. We are keen to stay again when it’s warmer as we want to see the garden in bloom.

    Sophie2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in Diana’s cottage. Diana and her family were so welcoming and friendly. She said we were the first to bring a baby to the cottage (15 months old at the time) and I would recommend this cottage to anyone taking a little one away with them.

    John2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Diana was a great host and the cottage was beautiful. She welcomed us on arrival and was always close by if we needed her. She was happy for us to have our dog with us as well. Situated in a very quiet part of Eastham close to a lot of nature places that we found easy to get to with stunning views. The peacock inn 10mins down the road was fantastic with great food is a must for anyone to try. We had a lovely few days away and it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Thank you Diana your home is stunning and we hope to return in the summer months.

    Paula2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • A delightful and stylish place to stay. Very comfortable and cosy.

    Suzanne2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at Diana's place. I would recommend researching places to go beforehand as the internet is very few and far between! However Diana has a book of local walks that can be done, which we found very useful. The flat had all the kitchen equipment we needed as well as enough room for the two of us. Thanks for having us!!

    Richard2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent Host. Cosy flat with everything you would need for a relaxing get away. Nice thoughtful touches even down to Diana leaving a fresh pint of milk and chocolate biscuits. Beautiful property and location. Driveway could be a bit challenging if you have a low car .

    John2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is cosy and warm, in a beautiful location. Diana was very friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Eastham is an ideal jump-off point for all sorts of local places of interest: in our case Bridgnorth & Kidderminster. Thanks for a great stay :) xxx

Hidden down a short track in a listed barn on our small farm in the beautiful Teme Valley, The Den is the perfect, self contained, fully equipped and comfortable hide-away. Surrounded by gardens, fields, trees and the river you are welcome to explore our fields, local paths, woods or fish.
With your own front door and parking space, The Den is a small home from home with a great kitchen, bathroom and living area, all designed with ease and comfort in mind as your perfect hide-away. The Den treads lightly on Planet Earth with heating from our biomass boiler and electricity from our solar panels. The internet TV is just for 'catch-up' with the main BBC, ITV and C4 stations with no dish or ariel. A single dog is welcome but must be on a lead outside as we have sheep. For 'petrol heads', we are just upstream from the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. An infant in a cot (not provided) is welcome but the Den has (only) a double bed so is not appropriate for older children unless a single parent and child share. By the Den is car-free but you can drop off your bags and then park nearby.
Set at the bottom of the astounding Teme Valley, this is the 'Hidden England' of ancient woods, hedges, valley fields, wildlife, a fish-filled river, the famous Shelsley Walsh Auto Hill Climb, Witley Court and often dark star-filled skies. And only a ten minute river-walk away is a pub, farm and coffee shops, plus hairdressing, therapy and craft studios.
  • Thanks for the hospitality, we had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Den at your fabulous home! Hopefully see you again in the new year!

  • Thank you for a fabulous accommodation settings and amazing scenery. The Den offered us with everything and more we could ask for. We definitely enjoyed our stay where we would recommend to family & friends to stay.... and planning for our return. Iain was a welcoming host and provided us with lots of tips of where to dine and visit for the full experience away.

    Madara2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Den is amazing - fantastic inside and out. The decor is very stylish and the starry nights wonderful! Loved the shower and the tiles. Handy place for beautiful walks and to visit Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb - recommended for any petrol heads. Hosts very welcoming and lots of local information provided. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

    Sonia2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is my second visit to The Den, so I have previously written an extensive, glowing review, all of which deserves to be repeated (although I won’t). It has been a genuine pleasure to spend time in such a comfortable home in this beautiful countryside with such kind, helpful and lovely people. I can’t wait to come back!

    Sara2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely studio flat, brand new, sparkling clean, with high quality furniture/appliances. Dog friendly, in a rural setting, with lovely hosts who gave us access to their safari tent (10 minutes walk away through their fields) for star gazing on a clear night. Excellent value for money. Would happily return.

    Alexander2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Milly and Iain were fabulous hosts, friendly and helpful. The Den is a beautiful, cosy, perfectly kitted-out little spot (with a really comfy bed!), and in a really quiet and picturesque part of Worcestershire. We were lucky enough to use their safari tent and sit watching the sunset, with a bottle of red wine both nights. We loved the company the dogs too, all in all a special place which is hugely recommended. Thanks guys.

  • Great place to stay. Thoroughly recommend.

    Graham2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my partner loved our stay at the birds nest, beautiful scenery and a stunningly stylish home! Spotlessly clean space, lovely and warm on arrival, and not to hard to get to with the directions from Mandy. We also visited the den for a cream tea, and my partner, who is gluten free, was well looked after with a beautiful gluten free selection of finger sandwiches and cakes. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and would highly recommend to any couple for a romantic little getaway.

    Jody2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little space. Much bigger than the photos in the listing. Would like to return in Spring when we can enjoy the gorgeous views. The Den is a lovely cafe with log burner. Food is very good.

    Simone2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Birds Nest is a wonderful space, in and out. The interiors decor is delightful and it is a very comfortable and restful space to be if the weather dictates. Outside, there a is a decking which looks out over the Teme valley, perfect for watching the sun set. A lovely spot away from it all!

    Philip2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Bird’s Nest is a beautiful place to stay, especially if you enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and breath taking views. Mandy & Steve were extremely accommodating and very helpful with any enquiries we had before our arrival. We will definitely be going back.

  • This place exceeded our expectations! The beautiful cabin is tucked away in the countryside and has everything you need! We were greeted with a card from the hosts as they were away for our stay and the fridge was stocked with milk, a fresh pack of coffee and biscuits. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal and the living area includes a sky TV and a full collection of DVDs. The bedroom is spacious with a big comfy double bed and a big ensuite shower that is perfect. The cafe the hosts own is just down the road and is worth a visit! The food and cake was amazing and the staff are super friendly. Will definitelybe visiting again!

  • Wanted somewhere to escape to after a hectic couple of months and Katie's place was ideal. What a beautiful cottage, literally in the middle of nowhere. Certainly off the beaten track but easy to find with great directions from Katie. Lovely cosy room, dark and quiet for a great sleep with a private bathroom just opposite. Great views to wake up to in the morning A shared space downstairs if you want it - we used the small dining room but retreated upstairs for some family games and films. Katie was kind to leave us some bread, butter and jam in the morning to get us started on our early morning departure. Would love to stay again if in the area - a lovely little find! Thank you X

Katie is a great host she gave us full directions, although it seems to be off the beaten track and in the middle of nowhere we found it very easy , Katies home is very welcoming, characterful, cosy and very clean and comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful that even the birds had a lie-in , in the morning because there is no street lights or traffic! I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends ! Thanks again Katie . And James for the lovely food at the Colliers Lorna and Mark (Devon)

Bryar House was once a garage and then a furniture show room, before it became a family home. We have lived here since 2006 and have fully renovated the entire house. Our guest room has an en-suit bathroom. You also have use of a breakfast/lounge room situated at the front of the house with views over the near by hills. We are very happy to welcome you to our home and hope you enjoy your stay. We also have a double room available for hire.
This is a no smoking property
Great Witley is a small village in the heart of Worcestershire. We are proud of our beautiful location, which is surrounded with stunning countryside that has some well marked walks and a whole host of lanes to cycle in. Also located in the village is the famous Witley Court, with one of the finest examples of a Baroque church in England. We are also within a few miles of Shelsley Walsh Hill climb which hosts numerous car racing events throughout the year. The historic city of Worcester is about 12miles away where you can explore the Cathedral and Camaraderie with all the civil war history, the beautiful river bank and many shops and restaurants. • My son stayed whilst doing his lifesaving exam at the local school. It was good to know he was well looked after in such an immaculate house. Having breakfast was a great bonus. Sue kept in touch constantly. Highly recommend.

Hope Mill is a recently restored grade II listed water mill situated on the outskirts of Clifton upon Teme village. Our two spacious guest rooms overlook a stunning waterfall on the Sapey brook and a natural pond. This is a peaceful rural retreat. We are surrounded by open fields and woodland. Ideal for walkers as a footpath and bridleway pass through. Or take a stroll around our own woodland then relax by the pond.
Hope Mill is in a very secluded spot down in the dingle. As a result we don't have mobile signal. We do have a signal booster for EE customers and free Wi-Fi for Wi-Fi enabled calling.
Clifton upon Teme is approximately 1 mile away with two pubs who do excellent food and a village shop with Post Office counter. There are a number of other pubs and restaurants within the local area that are also well worth a visit.
  • Superb tranquil location. Hosts Lesley and Mat made us feel very welcome. In a secluded spot with unique features inside and out. Breakfast was amazing and local food at The Lion pub was recommended also fantastic. Weather was awful for two 2 days for us but loads to do in the area. Go to Great Malvern and Worcester ...missed out on a walk in the Malvern hills because of the downpours. Great to see the place in the summer ..will return. Thanks again to Lesley and Mat. Chris and Debbie.

  • This has now become our regular place to stay when in the area and never fails to provide a wonderfully warm welcoming and fabulously located BNB. It is quiet peaceful full of character and is wonderfully relaxing run by wineglass hosts (and the breakfasts are fab too)

    Helen2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. What a Gem. A little of the beaten track but well worth it. The attention to detail in this flour mill conversion blew me away. Little details like the function and look of the bathroom door knobs to the lighting highlighting the historic features add to the already beautiful clean rooms Host have also added extra touches to make sure the room has everything you could need and more. From toiletries to snacks etc. The property does have a long gravel drive but our little car navigated it fine.

    Ian2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot if wanting a secluded weekend away, really nice hosts and very flexible in terms of check-in. Would definitely recommend!

  • Venture off the beaten track to discover this charming luxury converted Mill. The soothing sound of the waterfall is interspersed with the occasional sound from the goats and chickens which adds to the rural atmosphere. Arrival in a low slung sports car is not recommended, as the long unpaved track gets rather bumpy, but normal cars will be fine if you take it steady. The breakfast is amazing, with locally sourced bacon like you never tasted before. A handy local pub serves wonderful food too, complimenting the luxury experience of Hope Mill Leslie is a very attentive host and nothing is too much trouble.

    David2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place to stay. Such friendly hosts in the most beautiful of settings. A stunning property set amongst glorious countryside it is the ideal retreat for a break away to relax. What can be better than falling asleep or waking to the sound of their waterfall, or sitting beside it in the cool evening air? A delicious breakfast sets you up for the day, and the village pub, The Lion, would be a great place for an evening meal, or just a beer or two. And to top it off - you're staying in a renovated watermill !

Off the beaten track, and tucked away in a rural corner of the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, we welcome you to Hidden Valley Camping. Set in an ancient orchard on our small working farm, we offer wild-ish camping and glamping, with unrivalled views, huge dark skies, and an abundance of wildlife. With just 2 bell tents and a handful of camping pitches, you are guaranteed your privacy and plenty of space to sit, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The bell tents are furnished with everything that you will need for your stay including a double bed with bedding, a wood burning stove, a firepit with bbq grill and a kitchenette with gas stove, knives, plates, cups and pans.
We are slap bang in the middle of rural Worcestershire, but there is a pub within walking distance (1 mile away) - you can either tackle the footpath, or go by road, or there are other fine eateries and drinkeries a little further afield.
  • We stayed for two nights in what was going to be our first glamping experience and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Everything that first time glampers need. The tent is situated in a lovely quiet spot which also had a lot of privacy. I would definitely recommend this campsite and I will be looking to book again next Summer.

    Christina2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous weekend staying at Hidden Valley in Brambles Bell Tent. It was exceptionally clean and so well equipped and occupied a fabulous position within the site. The bed was super comfy. We would definitely recommend for a chilled, away from it all break.

    Kate2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • The Brambles bell tent is in a beautiful location, very peaceful and lots of great walks close by. Inside the bell tent there is plenty of space, a comfortable bed and a very cosy log burning fire. It has all the amenities you need. Although the shower and toilets are shared with other campers, they were always sparkling clean and there was never a queue! I would definitely recommend staying here and will be going back!

  • An amazing little sanctuary of a place. My husband and I, our 10 week old son and our labrador Dexter stayed for 2 nights and we were made to feel so welcome! 2 nights was not enough! We absolutely loved Cuttermoon Lodge - so much thought has gone into every last detail, and the welcome package is second to none. Helen and Jon are so helpful and friendly - we will definitely be returning as Storm Dennis slightly hampered our ability to get out and about and explore with our little boy - but all the more reason to come again!

  • Ruth was very helpful and quickly responded to my questions, She was very welcoming when I arrived a little early. The room is a good size, bed and pillows very comfortable. The toiletries where really good quality plenty hot water and towels. I would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.

    Jeannie2019-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth’s house is an amazing historic building with so many interesting things about it. It’s a marvel that something the was built so long ago, still endures! Updated and modernized, of course, but very much retains its historic charms and character. Very comfy bed and breakfast included as well as being able to bring my pup along. Betty and Frank the labradoodles were very energetic and friendly and got on well with my border collie. I would stay again if I’m in the area.

  • Ruth and her partner Mark were very hospitable. Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Everything exceeded our expectation, and would thoroughly recommend staying with them. It was a pleasure to meet them (and the dogs:Frankie and Betty).

  • A beautiful home in picturesque country side. Perfect for getting away from city living.

    Hamish2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay with Ruth and Mark. They were very welcoming of us and our 2 boys, the rooms were lovely and there were books and toys for the children to play with. They loved playing with the dogs and running around outside. The house was located in a nice, quiet village but with a pub within walking distance. The beds were nice and comfy with everything such as sheets and towels being at a high standard. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Situated in the heart of the Teme Valley, the Annexe serves as the perfect country retreat. Popular with walkers and day trippers alike and those keen on immersing themselves in nature. The building itself is a beautiful Grade 11 listed Queen Anne farmhouse with courtyard, simply decorated, complete with exposed beams and unique features. Comfortable sleeping and cooking arrangements. Woodburner and large selection of books. Two pubs one within a mile offering food and wi-fi. Lovely exploring.
Guests can expect a relaxed visit and can do as much or as little as they wish! Unsuitable for very young children due to open stairs. Site is on a working farm with ducks, chickens and peacocks wandering about. We also have a goose called Gandalf! There is a Shetland pony and larger pony in the paddock at the rear of the Annexe. Older children are welcome to use the trampoline and slide/climbing frame under supervision and at your own liability. There is ample parking for our guests and cars are left at the owners risk (The peacocks have been known to peck very shiny cars, they see their reflection and think it's another bird). We have a car cover available if desired.
We have lots of lovely restaurants in the area and the people are very friendly. The main attraction is the beautiful countryside and position; making it easy to visit Hereford with it's Cathedral , Worcester and lots of surrounding villages. Hanley William is a tiny Hamlet with it's own little church and pub and was once all part of the Hanley Court Estate making it interesting to historians. There is a Safari Park at Bewdely and the Severn Valley steam railway with lots of interesting stops along the way including Bridgenorth and Arley. Ludlow has a castle and is a major food capital there is also a leisure centre there too. World famous Shelsley Hill Climb is on our doorstep; a great day out for all car enthusiasts.
  • Peter's place is lovely and peaceful. Peter is a great host and very helpful. He lit the fire for us to come home to which was lovely. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage is very cosy and homely. Wonderful stay.

    Brigid2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Peters place was absolutely fantastic. The best bit was that the place had absolutely everything you could possibly need and everything was considered. We could have arrived with just the clothes on our back and have been fine! The area was super, and the animals were a real hit with our kids, especially the giant bunny! Thanks again for a lovely weekend Peter!

    Laura & Ryan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for a big group. We really enjoyed the fire and the true farm feel. Peter is a lovely host and very kind. We loved rambling in the area and all the great books, records and games available at the house. Top tip: the food at The Fox Inn is really good- just order way before you’re actually hungry :)

    Mareli2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely wonderful place with lovely farm animals and a beautiful real fire. We’ll be back!

    Lucy2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great weekend relaxing and exploring the local area. Would highly recommend. Plenty of space for a group of 8.

    Ellie2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in the annex. It’s a bit out of the way, but Pete gave us really descriptive and accurate directions so we found it without any issue. On arrival the fire was already lit for us, and it was very cosy!! The fridge was stocked with necessities, which was especially appreciated as the nearest shop needs to be driven to. Very comfy beds and overall a very lovely stay.

    Laura2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • A very relaxed rural retreat for long leisurely walks, comfy sofas in front of the fire & great outdoor adventures for the children.

    Lindsey2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was great. The house was even better than the photo’s. It’s really spacious. We were all super pleased when we we arrived. It was really comfortable. A fire had been lit, wine in the fridge and Halloween biscuits for the kids to decorate! Nice walks from the doorstep and a pub 1mile easy walk away that has happy hour every day! it was all fab, we had a lovely stay, just wish it had been longer. The kids loved having toys to play with. We enjoyed the selection of books. It felt like a lot of consideration had been put into the comfort of their guests. We would definitely recommend a stay here, Thank you!

  • The property was absolutely lovely, perfect for me and my boyfriend to spend a couple of nights while spending the weekend in the area for a festival. I could tell by pictures that their home was going to be lovely but actually arriving and seeing it, it was even better! Cannot fault them!

    Amy2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful location, amazing property and finished to a standard that will be very hard to beat. The best thing of all was how well you’re looked after - very accommodating yet also really relaxed and chilled out. Usually very hard to achieve, but done effortlessly here. This is the perfect space to relax and unplug. Thank you, both. Dan

  • Louisa’s home is absolutely amazing! The photos don’t do it justice. The style and quality of all the fixtures and furnishings are equal if not better than staying in a 5 star hotel. The gardens and surrounding area are idyllic and her hospitality and attention to detail, especially with the continental breakfast was superb. Louisa also recommended local eateries. The location is ideal for exploring different neighbouring counties and areas of interest. The value for money was outstanding! I would recommend staying here 100%.

    Caroline2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed one night, but it was an immensely pleasant and comfortable one. The flat itself is ENORMOUS! (The sofa genuinely being bigger than the downstairs floor plan of our own home!) Louisa was very useful via communications before and during our stay. The flat was very stylish, modern and exceptionally clean. Louisa very thoughtfully provided us with gluten free cake and gluten free breakfast, all I had to do was ask. The bed was very comfy, and the shower huge! This flat is a part of a very fancy and swish home, that is very beautiful (if not a world away from our own!) The only downside perhaps was that the WiFi signal was poor to non-existent, but I suppose that only encouraged us to spend more time with each other than our phones!

    Katherine2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • After an extremely busy few weeks we have had the most relaxing and welcoming stay at Louisa and Lawrence’s stunning home. Louisa thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble. The house is absolutely stunning, very clean and has fantastic amenities. There are a great choice of local pubs and restaurants and we had a day our in Ludlow which was very pretty. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for an amazing experience x

The hosts were incredible and very thoughtful, leaving us some clean towels and welcoming us with fresh Apple juice. The private pool and sauna was incredible, took us a while to get the temperature in the pool right, but once that was sorted it was perfect. We would definitely come back!

There was amazing little touches added on arrival, mincepies, mulled wine and prosecco along with fresh bread and butter and more! The hot tub was heated on arrival, unlimited logs for the log fire, bikes were there if we needed them, everything was perfect! Thankyou James so so much for the best NYE stay ever! :)

  • Secluded location, great views & an excellent host. My partner and I had a one night stay here and we were welcomed immediately by the host ‘James’ who took us to the Accomodation and explained how to use all of the facilities. Everything has been thought of and more, you will not be disappointed. Couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough.

  • We stayed her for only one night for a wedding and it was ideal for what we needed. Super clean room with en suit bathroom. It also had enough room for our young daughter’s cot. Breakfast was included and easy to access with lovely dining room to eat in. Thanks for a stress-free stay!
