Hi, I'm offering a private bedroom in a centrally located townhome in Killarney. Guests have a queen sized bed in a room of their own upstairs and access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom, washer/dryer and wifi. The bathroom has a large soaker tub. Easy access to downtown, bus routes and the c train station. Walking distance from Marda Loop and the grocery store.
Killarney is a fantastic neighbourhood. I'm half a kilometre from Marda Loop which has some fantastic restaurants and pubs. There are also two grocery stores within walking distance. It's also only a short walk to 17th Ave which also has some great stores and restaurants.

You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, and the ambiance. i try to make fresh sourdough bread every other day and have a great espresso machine. i am associated with a new Bolder climbing gym, bolderclimbing.com if thats your gig. i run a dog service business in home, boarding, daycare and walks. NewMANs best Friend.
    My home is quite whimsical, lots of art, and comfy areas to sit. Great garden in the summer, and walking distance to elbow river and river Park off leash dog park. Your room is light and airy, new double bed and mattress, it is small but cozy. 2 piece washroom down hall. The 4 piece main bathroom is on the main floor, with a sauna. Please note DOGS are on premise, main and upper, none in basement rooms.
    my neighbourhood (Mount Royal) is old and established, very safe and lots of beautiful homes. bus stop in front of house. Across the street is a 24 hour convenience store, liquor/wine store, two blocks from a Starbucks. New restaurant across the street, Out Daily Bret...and a pharmacy, Pharma. Walking distance to great restaurants/nightlife shops 17th ave and 4th st SW. Walking distance to Marda Loop shoping.
  • Room was as expected, I loved having the slippers to put on! Something to keep in mind for travelers is that the staircase is steep/narrow for the upstairs bedroom. My stay at Sarah's was great, she has great recommendations for dog park areas and knows her neighbourhood well!

    Bright one bedroom basement suite with living area and an ensuite bathroom. The living area has a queen pullout sofa bed (currently unavailable). We have adapted the laundry room to provide our guests with a convenient area to make meals. We are situated across the street from a park with a playground and tennis courts. There is an outdoor public pool a half block away. We are close to 17th ave, downtown, Marda Loop shopping/restaurant area, transit and fairly close to the stampede grounds
    This private basement suite has been renovated with heated tile floors for the winter but is nice and cool in the summer. There is not a kitchen but we have made available to our guests a Keurig coffee maker, a toaster oven, a induction cook top, a microwave, and a fridge. There are dishes, utensils and pots available for our guests convenience. There is also a TV and a pull out queen sofa bed in the living area. There is shared access on the ground floor. Access code will be provided.
    We are situated in the vibrant area of Marda Loop.. We are close to 17th ave, downtown, Marda Loop shopping/restaurant area, transit and fairly close to the stampede grounds. We are across the street from a park with a playground and tennis courts. There is an outdoor public pool a half block away

    This guest suite has a cozy, bright and "home away from home" vibe to it. Located in the trendy neighborhood of Marda loop it is the best of both words, nestled in a friendly and quaint community, just a short Uber/Taxi ride from downtown and 17th Avenue. Walking distance to 33rd Ave (Marda Loop), 17th Ave and bus stops that can take you anywhere in the city. This is a perfect space for a single person or couple whether on vacation or here on business.
    The view of downtown from this property is truly breathtaking. This is a newly renovated guest suite with new hardwood flooring and appliances. The space feels bright and airy with the bay window in the living room and two windows in the bedroom which lets in the morning sun. The bedroom has a queen sized bed with bedside tables, a walk in closet and large dresser. The bathroom has a bright vanity, new water efficient toilet, and bath tub/ shower. The laundry room has a high end washer and dryer, and is very spacious. High speed internet (WIFI) and TV (Netflix/Cable) are provided. Large stylish and clean fully fitted kitchen, washer and dryer etc. Clean and very comfortable house. Pamela is super friendly and welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed for a great trip. Access to the house was fantastic, we had our own garage and door. I would highly recommend Pamela’s place. We actually travelled back to Banff and found the house in a great location to get through Calgary meeting no traffic. Overall great stay!

    Great location in Marda Loop. Right above Phil and Sebastian's...a must stop in Calgary for coffee lovers. Many restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. The apartment is next to a gym and many yoga studios. My apartment has a great view of downtown and is very close to 17th ave. The place is on a major bus route (number 7) and there are loads of Car2Go to access the downtown core. The apartment includes wifi, netflix access, kitchen utensils/appliances, laundry, linens and towels, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 shower and 1 bathtub combination and 1 shower), and a deck with a view of the downtown skyline. It is clean and modern. Plenty of closet space for skis/snowboard gear in the front closet. The apartment is off Crowchild Trail and takes approximately 60 minutes to drive to Banff. There are indoor parking spaces designated for visitors and you have access to a parking pass to park there.
    Marda Loop has a lot of great amenities: Phil and Sebastian's Coffee, Pip's Boardgame Cafe, Bikram Yoga, Original Joe's, and other restaurants (sushi, brunch, Thai, and Chinese). It's walking distance to a grocery store, dry-cleaning, and a gym.

Right in the heart of Marda Loop, steps from great restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. The view is amazing; I watched the sunrise over downtown Calgary each day on the balcony. It was great to have a dishwasher and washer and dryer right in the apartment. You will not be disappointed.

    A cosy and bright 1 bedroom in a welcoming home. 8 mins to city centre and 45 to the beautiful Canadian Rockies. Perfect for a ski vacation - a short drive to Kananaskis where the best x country is found, as well as Banff and Canmore. A safe neighbourhood. Parking is included - as well I have locked storage for any winter gear you may have. Outdoor fire pit that operates all year round and a hot tub (weather/service permitting) A very come-as-you-are home where you can relax and enjoy.
    A very easy going and clean space - perfect for anyone who is ready to venture into the mountains for any season. It is 45 mins to Kananaskis and Canmore and an hour away from Banff where the Norquay ski hill can be found and an hour and a half from world famous Lake Louise. There is a shed with a lock for all of your gear. Icefishing is an hour away as well as some of the best cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the province. The fire pit is open all year round with wood provided. I lived in Lake Louise for 10 years and enjoyed the Rocky Mountains immensely so if there’s any tips or questions you may have about hiking paths skiing snowshoeing Or ski hills I can help you out!
    Killarney is a dog friendly neighbourhood with three parks five minutes from this house - Perfect for a morning run for coffee or a nice relaxing walk with your dog. At night you can’t hear the city at all. Very safe!!

    Marda Loop was voted the best neighbourhood in Calgary. It is a quiet, family neighbourhood with the best city has to offer. There are many shops, restaurants, and cafes to try. Local grocery stores, parks, outdoor skating rink, ice cream, spas, pizza, yoga, brewpubs, burgers, coffee shops, even a mexican grocery store; absolutely anything you might like to experience is in walking distance from our home.     My place is close to grocery stores, has easy access to downtown by public transit or driving. You’ll love my place because of the people. The 2 of us who live here are super easy going and quiet. My place is good for solo adventurers and business travellers.

The neighbourhood was also very nice. Judy and her roommates were so kind and accommodating and definitely made me stay a lot nicer.   • First off, it’s an absolutely fabulous location. Within walking distance to many great restaurants, interesting shops, grocery, liquor and cannabis stores. The covered off street parking was a bonus. Liana has done a great job of decorating in a quirky chic style. I was particularly amused by the large cat decal on the toilet tank. It’s obvious she has been putting a lot of effort to make this place a top notch AirBnB rental. I enjoyed my four night stay and would return again.

The parking space was very convenient but on street parking isn’t too bad either. We hope to be back on our next trip.

But this home was much better than my expectation and the host went above and beyond to make sure it was immaculate and accommodating. A standard that seemed to have fallen by the wayside elsewhere.   • This place is the best place ever. I dealt with Beth and Duncan and was really impressed with how much they cared that our stay was perfect. They went way beyond expectations. I could have stayed there forever. It was wonderful. The home was so well equiped that making meals was like being in your own home. Lots of dishes, pot, pans, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies etc. Every thing we needed they already thought of. We had family over several times for dinner during our 2 week stay. A great layout for entertaining. Upstairs was very private with the bedrooms at the opposite ends of the hall. Both had full bath ensuites which was great. I cant think of anyway they could improve upon. It was a 10 out of 10. We plan on staying their on our next visit to Calgary.

    I’m a two minute walk from lovely Elbow River Park; fifteen minutes from city centre; three minutes from Marda Loop. Wifi, laundry, including a clothes steamer, iron and ironing board are available for your use.
    My home is older, and has a wonderful energy. I have the best sleeps, and I trust you will as well. You have access to my patio and I’ll consider your requests and attempt to accommodate you. The room is warm and bright. I hope to see you soon.
    Altadore is an older community. I often escape the city to Elbow Park. It’s a two minute walk from my home. There’s all kinds of excellent restaurants and pubs close by in Marda Loop and on 17th Ave. Heritage Park is 10 minutes away and the zoo is a little further than that. This is a great location.

    Welcome to the Rabbit Hole! We hope this can become your home away from home. Our home is located in the central community of Richmond/Knob Hill. This is an inner city community with good access to the city centre, trendy 17th Avenue Retail & Entertainment District, and Marda Loop. All necessities are within walking distance from our location. Street Parking is available. This is the basement suite of our bungalow style home built in 1953.
    My objective is to attract those interested in a comfortable, central space that is not too pricy as this is what I look for when I travel to other cities. I have been to many AirBnb's myself so I have tried to think of all the things I wished were in them! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you should need to cook should you wish to do so. There are many options near here to eat out as an alternative. Some basic channels available by antenna and a google chrome cast is installed to allow you to cast your own streaming services if you choose. If you prefer to just relax by the fire and read a book then this is also an option!
    Richmond/Knob Hill is an inner city neighbourhood with good access to the City Centre, Crowchild Trail, and the Stampede Grounds. The Marda Loop and 17th Avenue business districts are within walking distance. The neighbourhood itself boasts several nice parks, a library, and cSPACE King Edward (an arts hub which houses some galleries and a coffee shop).

Notably, the Saddledome & Stampede grounds are located off of 17th Ave. You can also walk 15 more minutes to get all the way downtown to the Core, where you’ll find shopping from Holt Renfrew & Simons to H&M and the Gap.

    We have a City of Calgary Business License. Welcome! Our basement suite is bright and cozy, and has a dedicated side entrance. There is a galley kitchenette (sink, fridge, toaster oven, microwave, cooktops, table & chairs), and a cozy living space (couch makes into an extra double bed). Netflix and Hulu is available on the TV, and the comfortable bedroom has a queen size bed. An adjacent laundry room is available to you, and the half bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) rounds out the apartment.
    Kitchen is fully stocked with essentials for cooking, and house is in a quiet neighbourhood. Some requirements: - No parties - No conducting of illicit "business" - No children under 10 - No pets - No smoking anywhere on the property
    Bankview is close to 17th Ave SW, a main business corridor in the Beltline. There are numerous shops and restaurants, pubs and bars within easy walking distance. Within the neighbourhood there are several beautiful parks and community gardens; we are a 20-25 min walk from cSpace, an excellent gallery/art-space/performance venue; and close to all the amenities of downtown. We are both professional musicians who have ties to the arts community here, and are happy to let you know what's going on!

  • A great little apartment! It was walking distance to anything I wanted (restaurants, liquor store, convenience store) it's unfortunate that the building is smoking (not Liana's fault at all!! And clearly stated in the listing), but I only found it to be annoying in the evenings. The apartment was clean and the furniture comfortable. Liana was quick to respond to my messages, and check-in/out was simple.

  • I will definitely recommend Cathleen's place to any other people. It is very close to downtown and very comfortable to live in. The most important thing is Cathleen is very thoughtful and kind. She provides everything guests need, even breakfast. She also told us much information about how to see the stampede parade. It was very helpful. I really enjoyed the stay.

    This bachelor apartment has great views to the east and downtown Calgary. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness and the views. This would be a wonderful spot for couples, singles, business people, artists, students, or visiting family! We are not located directly downtown, but we are really close to 17th Avenue, or "the Red Mile" which is a popular shopping street with fun shops, lots of restaurants, and pubs. Buses are really close and we are in the centre of the car2go zone.
    This is a small, private apartment located on one complete floor in what was once the "servant's quarters" and "coach house" for the larger home that is next door to it. It is one of the first homes ever built in this neighbourhood, but it has been well maintained and has all the amenities of a new apartment. The space is one large room with a room divider that separated the living room and bedroom. The kitchen and the bathroom are both at the back of the apartment in their own separate rooms. The kitchen is small but is equipped with: apartment size electric stove and refridgerator microwave, drip coffee maker, kettle dishes, cutlery, pots & pans • Please let us know if you require anything else and we can do our best to find it! Heating & Cooling: • There is a thermostat that controls the heat for this unit. It is heated with a boiler and circulating hot water. We ask that you do not turn the heat down especially during the winter months as we do not want the pipes to freeze. • During the summer months it can get warm in the apartment, we have a couple of fans, that help move the air around. Parking: • You may park on either 17th Street (west side) or 16A Street (either side - down the hill – in front of the Manor). Generally, there is more available parking on 16A Street. You do not require a parking permit or to pay a fee. You can load and unload your bags at the 17th Street entrance and then head down the hill by going “around the block” to park in front of the Manor. Then walk through the property – up the stairs beside the Coach House. Laundry: • The laundry room is on the main floor of the Coach House (the building you are staying in.) Just leave your front door and go down the stairs to the Main level. The key to the laundry room is in this binder, please put it back when you are finished. • The laundry cost is $2 per wash $2 per dry, it only accepts $1 coins (loonies). • There is laundry detergent and dryer sheets on the bookcase that is just inside the small closet beside the kitchen.
    The neighbourhood is called Bankview, and it is one of the older neighbourhoods going through a gentrification with many new homes, as well as some original homes, and apartment buildings. It is about a 20 minute walk to downtown, the Stampede Grounds or the Greyhound Station. It is very close to 17th Avenue, a popular shopping street with many restaurants and shops.

Our apartment in Mount Royal, Calgary is a 10-minute walk from one of the city’s main entertainment streets (17th Ave), and has 1400 square feet of living space to share with travellers. So, whether you’re hoping to get a night out on the town, or spend some time indoors relaxing, we’ve got you covered.
    Directly across the street is 14th Street Market with a Starbucks, a gym called Revolve Fitness, a Liquor Depot, a dry cleaners, and a dine in or takeout restaurant with a weekly revolving menu and salad bar called Our Daily Bret. Within 200m South is a hair salon, a couple boutique clothing stores, a pet store, and a gas station. 1km North is 17th Avenue, also known as Red Mile. It is one of Calgary’s main entertainment districts with shopping and restaurants on either side of the street all the way east to the Saddle Dome. 2km South is an off leash dog park and beautiful walking trails.
