My apartment is a 500 sq. ft. 1-Bedroom with countless options for eating, drinking, and playing nearby. A 200 ft. walk takes you to Starbucks, In-N-Out, and a few other fast food places. And a 5-min. drive takes you to downtown Tempe (Mill Ave.), Tempe Marketplace (large outdoor mall), and the airport. The complex sits on Tempe Town Lake where you can kayak, paddle board or run/bike down the path.
My unit overlooks the local mountains (Camelback), and is great for seeing a beautiful sunset. The location is very central and close to the highway so you can get to downtown Tempe (ASU), Scottsdale, or Phoenix area very quickly.
The apartments are modern luxury style and cater to young working professionals, students, and educators. Nearby you can find great shopping at Tempe Marketplace, any kind of restaurant you can imagine. Soak up the sun poolside or take advantage of the beautiful cool breezes to run, walk, or bike along Tempe Town Lake. Kayak and beach cruiser rentals are available.
  • Thanks for the great stay. The apartment is as described.. no issues what so ever. Very convenient parking also. Highly recommended.

  • The location is perfect. Close to ASU . Close to the highway. Comfy bed, clean neat space. Beautiful Tempe town lake right there, prefect for walks.

  • Great space, comfortable, and great amenities available. Location is perfect for Tempe and surrounding area! I’d definitely come back and rent this space, no questions asked.

  • Great central scenic location, small but well arranged apartment, clean with all equipment you would need. Would fully recommend

    John2018-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice but small unit. The area is very nice and safe. Tempe is a beautiful city and the Tempe Town Lake is very nice and safe for walking, running and biking. There are boat rentals at the marina and ASU is just across the lake. The kitchen was well stocked although $3.00 for a beer in the refrigerator is ridiculous and took up needed refrigerator space, for our 5 day trip. There were towels and toiletries, but there was only only two bath towels for two people for five days, luckily there is a full size washer and dryer in the unit. The biggest and pretty much only problem I had was the bedroom faces the 202 highway and the noise from the highway is very loud at night when it’s quiet. There is only one window in the entire unit, which is actually the sliding glass door in the bedroom, so if you open the door tams sit on the balcony it’s very noisy from the freeway and the mountains are so far away that it should not be referred to as a Mountain View, because it’s a freeway view. . The unit needs thicker glass on the sliding glass door. The owner suggested that I download an ambient noise app, but it did not help at all. I ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room area. If you don’t plan to spend much time in the unit and you are a hard sleeper this is a great place to stay, walking distance to everything that’s nice in Tempe.

  • An excellent place to stay. Close to Mill Ave and close to Scottsdale. The pool/hot tub/gym area are a really nice bonus.

  • The pictures show exactly what you get. Everything is clean & comfortable. Entrance instructions are easy to follow. View from the pool is beautiful & we loved the fitness center. Great choice if you're looking for a homie stay.

    Cynthia2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Bart's place while in town for a conference. It was incredibly spacious, comfortable and welcoming - not to mention a great location that made it easy to get on major highways and travel throughout the city. From the time of booking, Bart's communication was superb and he was always easy to get a hold of and very helpful. The information provided was thorough and completely put me at ease during my stay. The location has a great pool and hot tub, and also a fitness room (though I didn't use that particular amenity). I would definitely stay again!

  • For being the first guests to stay at this apartment, I think it went very well. We had a slight delay checking in, but our host apologized and redeemed himself in checking out. We appreciated the brand new linens. The location was great. We would definitely consider staying here again if we are ever back in the Phoenix area!

  • This space served us perfectly for catching some rest after a long and stressful trip. It was perfectly clean and very comfortable as well as less than 10 minutes from the airport. Nana was an amazing host, graciously accommodating our late check-in and staying open to communication all day long. He also went out of his way to give us a lift to the airport at 5am on Monday morning. Don't hesitate to book this spot!

    Ben2018-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Nana was a gracious host. Very well mannered, communicative, and prompt. He did a through walk through, in person, and showed us where everything was. He, also, offered us to make our selves at home with other anything in the fridge. Thank you Nana. Ali

A luxury loft on Tempe Town Lake, this eclectically decorated place is probably the most fun place to stay in Tempe. Located 1 mile from ASU and literally on the lake beachfront, it is walking distance from restaurants, bars, the school, and the light rail. The apartment complex has a full sized gym, THREE pools and hot tubs, a rooftop bar, and much more. It is also a "smart home", with Phillips Hue bulbs, Nest thermostats, and an Amazon Echo for you technology buffs.

Beautiful, contemporary apartment with modern furniture that has an elegant, comfortable feel to make your stay exceptional. With a lakefront view and first class amenities, you'll not find a better gem in all of the Phoenix valley!
High Speed internet, Netflix & Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and a high quality Sonos sound system that allows for music to be played from your phone in any room or as a collection in the whole house. Access to the following amenities: Grill, Hot Tub & Pool, Gym, Business Office, & lounge area with pool and TVs. Clean Guarantee: I guarantee that the place will be clean, including clean bed sheets and towels, kitchen, sterilized bathroom, and clean living spaces. If you're not satisfied with the level of cleanliness for any reasons, I will either refund part or all of your money or have a cleaning specialist come take care of what you find to be unsatisfactory. My goal is 100% satisfaction with the place and cleanliness is a big part of that.
My favorite thing about the apartment is the view at night. It's the best on the lake! Rent a kayak down at the Marina and go explore the lake! My neighborhood is high end so although you are near ASU campus, you will not see a lot of college kids or hear parties or loud music while staying at my place.
  • This is truly a great find. The apartment is very well decorated and has all the amenities you could ask for. But the best part is the view you get on the balcony. Already tried staying again but was all booked weeks ahead of time, don't miss out if you get a chance.

    Rolando2017-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • First, I will start with the overwhelming positives. The location was amazing. I didn't know Arizona had such a breathtaking location. The apartment is right on a dock with paddle board, peddle boat and kayak rentals. The apartment had huge picture windows overlooking the water. At night, the lights reflecting off the water at night made everything completely worth it. Second, the apartment had great amenities with a workout room across the hall from the apartment. The courtyard had fountains next to BBQ grills with lounge chairs. The pool had Lounge cubbies with individual televisions. Blake was great at communicating with us and made things smooth. Now, the only awkward part was that the home is obvious lived in and you are sharing Blake's space. He isn't there with you, but his toiletries are in the restroom and his clothes in the closet. If you keep the true meaning of Airbnb (home sharing) in mind, the place is great. It was clean and comfortable. If you expect hotel quality as far as not staying in someone else's space, you will feel awkward. I will definitely want to stay here again, but will keep in mind that it is first and foremost, Blake's house.

    Rhett2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Place is very nice and has great amenities. Enjoyed staying here. Would come back.

    ed2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Blake's place is spectacular with a gorgeous view of Tempe Lake and the skyline. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, exercise room, and hike and bike trail around the lake. We were so close to ASU, Mill Ave, restaurants, and shopping. Blake is a very considerate host and did everything he could to make our stay perfect! Just wish we had had more time to enjoy and relax at his place!

    Linda2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Would do this again and again

    Dave2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Blake's place was amazing to stay at. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and really loved being on the lake. The apartments have many things to do close by. His apartment has a very cozy vibe and I will definitely stay again for my next visit.

    Cassie2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Blake's place is amazing. The view is absolutely beautiful. It is right next to the river, multiple restaurants and Tempe night life. I would recommend this place more than any other B&B I have stayed at (which is a lot). Thanks Blake!

    Parker2017-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Location, location, location. Blake’s place was amazing. Very stylish, the bed was so comfortable, nice TV, and breathtaking view of Tempe lakes. The apartment was also located next to the resident lounge, which had free coffee and very nice sitting area. Next door was the fitness gym and the elevator was also very close. Just outside the elevator on the first floor was a pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, BBQ, and a pool table. It was the perfect place to also just relax. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

A clean, comfy, and cozy private room (with your own private bath) on Tempe Town Lake. You will enjoy the access to the bike/walk trail along the river and excellent amenities (gym, pool, business center, rooftop lounge). The location is perfect: close to ASU, Old Town Scottsdale, the Desert Botanical Garden, Tempe Marketplace, and downtown Tempe.
I love traveling, and welcome travelers. You will stay in a quite and clean private room with your own private bath and a large closet. It's a new place with all new furniture, including a Queen size bed with a memory foam mattress. My place is in a terrific location, which helps you explore the city with little effort. Just in front of my place, you can also find a bus stop, Starbucks, In-N-Out, and a few restaurants.
  • Heewon was a very gracious host, providing my wife and me with a clean, comfortable private room with bath. She provided everything we needed for a delightful stay.

    Craig2017-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • The host is quick with replies, is quiet and keeps to herself. A simple room (mattress is super firm) with a private bath which is nice. Average 10-15 mins drive away to popular spots.

    Lana2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Heewon's place was amazing for my sister and her friend to stay while exploring Tempe. They were in awe of how stylish and modern both the complex and their space were. Very close to both the airport and places to shop and eat. Heewon was very prompt with communication and detailed with how to get around the complex. She was kind and accommodating, and I will highly recommend her place to anyone!

    M2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Heewon’s home is in a newly builded apartment complex. It’s clean, great location with shopping center and kinds of food choice, and very safe! Heewon is a nice host. She replied messages quickly, also welcomed us in person. I will of course recommend her place.

    Yilun2018-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Heewon's place is clean and neat. Pictures exactly depict her place. The bed is comfortable and there's private bath. The location is great, near to downtown Tempe and ASU campus. Heewon is friendly and nice. Definitely good place to live!

    Lili2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • I am going to gush a little about my host Heewon. She is just getting started as a host, therefore I am hopeful those reading this will choose her location. Heewon was an excellent host. She made sure I was comfortable and was concerned that my trip was successful. She is ultra- polite and a genuine nice person. The room was flawless. Comfortable bed, clean, and well appointed. Huge walk-in closet is a nice plus. As a walker/biker/public transporter her location cannot be beat. Convenient to everything Tempe and Scottsdale have to offer. I recommend Heewon and her room without hesitation!!

    rob2017-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had an excellent experience staying with Heewon. She is an wonderful host & the room was clean, private, and extremely comfortable. As 1st time Airbnb users, my wife & I could not have imagined anything better! We highly recommend to anyone staying in the Tempe area.

    Eric2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Heewon is a genuinely friendly and warm host! Her condo is a 2 bed and 2 bath, and the unit posted is for 1 of the bedrooms that has a bathroom within it as well as large walk-in closet for storage. The space is clean and minimalist, and offers plenty of privacy and quiet. The location is central for exploring the Phoenix area, proximate to Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. It's also ideal if you're seeking a spot near the airport for a night, like we were. It's about a 10 minute drive (no traffic). For my liking, the bed and pillows, memory foam I think, were a bit hard but I'm one of those who prefers only the softest and squishiest mattresses. All in all, a good stay at a really reasonable price point.

  • I stayed at Lilan's place traveling by myself for a few days. The private room was great because I had access to my own personal bathroom/shower as well as my bedroom without having to walk through any common areas. I was very comfortable and felt safe as a solo girl traveling. Check-in/check-out was super easy and accommodating and the response was quick. Wifi is strong. And got to play with Cabbage (their adorable puppy). Also, they have a large balcony where I was able to sit, tan, and work remotely from. My only issue was the messy kitchen. I planned to cook meals during my stay and was not really able to do so (only microwave). Other than that I enjoyed my stay and I think many people will too!

I highly recommend this room to anyone, especially if you like a nice quiet, clean, modern room with a river view, and a great swimming pool and hot tub to boot. Great apartment, I hope to stay again next time around!

  • Monet was such a wonderful host. She was so quick to respond and just available to meet any needs that we might have had. She was very detailed with the check in and check out procedure, and although we never got to meet, she was such a friendly and caring person. This was our first Airbnb experience and she definitely set the bar high. It was a very comfy and cozy place that felt like home. It was not too far from downtown Tempe and right across from an In n Out! We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

    Athena2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This condo is great! My boyfriend was participating in the Tempe Arizona Ironman and we needed a convenient location....and we found it! It was super easy to get from the airport to the condo. In addition, it was very close to the event venue. A nice walk along the river to shops and restaurants, a short drive to the Desert Botanical Gardens and Phoenix Zoo, and located close to ASU. The condo is nicely decorated, very clean, well equiped and so comfortable. The pool and spa were particularly appreciated. In addition, we felt safe in the area and in the building. Monet responded quickly to any questions we had before and during our stay and kindly went out of her way to provide us with a few things we needed. When sitting on the patio, we do hear interstate traffic as well as planes flying overhead. However, it wasn't an issue for us and once inside, it was perfectly quiet. It really felt like home away from home!

    Timothy2017-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is in such a great location- close to downtown and fwy access. The condo is impeccably clean and offers just about everything you could want or need. The gym in the building is fantastic, so if that is important to you then I highly recommend this location. Monet was incredibly communicative and her instructions for getting in to the building are detailed to perfection, which I was thankful for because security there was very tight (which was also kind of nice). All in all- a fantastic experience and a location I would recommend in a heartbeat if you wanted to stay in the area.

    Jodi 2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful place to stay, just like a home away from home. Anything that you could think you need was here. I especially loved the washer and dryer and pool access. Sometimes the coolest cities are tucked behind the fame of a nearby, more well-known destination. Like how Brooklyn is totally overshadowed by Manhattan, but the locals know the best restaurants and hippest hangouts are found across the Brooklyn Bridge. Well, Tempe is the more authentic, hidden gem to the bustling desert metropolis that is Phoenix, and boy, are you in for a treat. With attractions, activities, restaurants, and the renowned Arizona State University campus, Tempe is like a cool drink of water on a scorching Arizona day. There's something for everyone here, whether you're passing through for work, play, or a college visit.
Your apartment on Rio Salado will become your own private, desert oasis during your stay in Tempe, and we don't blame you if you want to trade your current lifestyle for one of sun, sand, and a sprawling palm-tree lined pool deck. In this upscale home, you'll find the ideal environment to relax and restore after a packed day of sightseeing, college touring, or business meetings. If the 330+ days of sun annually are a bit too much for you, this apartment is the perfect way to cool off, with an open, airy layout, stylish furnishings, speedy WiFi, and a comfy sofa where you can doze off while binging on that new Netflix series. Or, if your version of relaxing includes trying to create those Sun Devil cake pops you saw on Pinterest, a full kitchen awaits your culinary adventures. Or just kick back and order some takeout when the cake pops turn out more like monsters than cute mascots. THE DETAILS: Your 2 bedroom, 2 bath on Rio Salado: Cloud-like King-size bed that will lull you into dreams of sand dunes, cacti, and other Arizona icons. Second bedroom with a Queen-size bed that keeps “sharing is caring” to just the right amount. Queen-size pull-out couch in the living room which may cause some intense rock-paper-scissors action because who doesn't want to sleep closer to the kitchen?! Not one, but two full bathrooms, because, again, sharing isn't always caring. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and sleek white cabinets that may inspire you to film your own episode of Cribs: Tempe Edition. Air conditioning to keep you cool when the mercury rises on a hot Arizona day. Which is pretty much every day in a town with an average temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit. In-unit laundry, in case you get caught in a freak desert sandstorm. Free, fast WiFi for finding the best sandstorm compilation videos on YouTube. Stylish decor and sparkling wood floors to remind you that you're not just crashing in somebody's college dorm. We're fancy here!

The apartment is located in a contemporary living condominium, on the north side of Tempe Town Lake. The location is fantastic, with the 202 just a minute away, you can avoid surface road traffic. The enclosed pool, jacuzzi and bbq area is a great place to enjoy your stay. The gym area is fully functional with a separate spin/yoga studio. The guaranteed sunset views over the lake from our favorite spot, the sundeck (with WiFi), never fail to impress. Breakfast options available upon request.
My husband and I live in this modern apartment. You will have the bedroom to yourself and we will share the rest of the apartment with you. We prefer hosting single people or couples, larger groups can contact about alternative arrangements. **Our apartment is handicap accessible with 3 ft doorways and larger bathroom/bathtub to accommodate wheelchairs.** There is plenty of free parking in front of the building.
  • Virginia is a wonderful host. The house is right across ASU, very convenient. The bed is conformable and there are many amenities around the area. I'd definitely stay again. Wu

  • Virginia's place was ideal for my son's graduation from ASU (only 1 mike away). Only takes 10 minutes from the airport to reach this Airbnb. Very clean, and ideal location for 101 or 202 access. Virginia and her husband were great and very accommodating for my needs.

  • This was our first experience using Airbnb. We only knew what to expect from friends whom have used it before. The house was very well taken care of. Great location for the event we were going to. We did not expect the Hosts to stay at the apartment while we occupied it as it was a 1 bedroom so we felt awkward at first. The Hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. The hot tub was great for relaxing which is what we wanted to do. Great location and scene for college students. Walking distance to a few food places so that was very nice!

  • Virginia and Jason are fantastic hosts. Very nice people. Their apartment is small, yet very spacious and clean. The bedroom is clean, with a big window and a comfy bed. A few eating spots around the area, and within walking distance from ASU. I'd certainly stay again. J

The place was clean and Leo was available for any issues, even though there weren't any. He was also very accommodating for check in and check out. Highly recommend!

Lake view condo in the middle of it all! Offers great outdoor activities. Walking distance to ASU Stadium and Downtown Tempe with restaurants and nightlife. Very close to the light rail for a quick ride to Phoenix. Only 2 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and 2.5 miles from Tempe Marketplace Mall. This location has it all!
  • We stayed for a month in November and had a wonderful time! The space was gorgeous, as was the view of the lake, and the location so perfect for the Tempe Center for the Arts and all that goes on at Mill Avenue! Perfect weather and the pool and hot tub still warm enough for a dip. Our host was so accommodating — we came with no car and were just on foot and public transit and so she was very gracious in helping us with figuring out how to get what we’d need for our extended stay!

  • We had a wonderful time. The condo was convenient to the freeway to get to anywhere, across from great walking paths and close to town to walk to restaurants and shopping. It was nice to have some everyday amenities provided like shampoo, coffee and trash bags. The house was clean and we very much enjoyed our stay. We will stay again.

  • Terrific stay in Tempe. The condo exceeded our expectations based on the photos. It is very sizable: two full bedrooms, one with a walk-in closet and ensuite; large living room with a view to the river; good sized dining area; full, well-equipped kitchen; nice balconies front and back. Downstairs is a small suite with a fold out couch as the third bed. Perfect location. Literally a couple of block walk to the LRT station and the main restaurant and shopping street in Tempe. Easy highway access. Close to the airport. Across the street is a nice walking/biking path along the river. If you are travelling light you could even take the LRT to/from the airport. Very nice pool area. There are two communal barbecues. One propane, the other uses briquets (buy your own). They are large stainless steel barbecues, well maintained and clean. Meredith communicated well in advance and checked up on us during our stay. She was easily accessible. A few warnings: 1. Read the house manual carefully. I didn't! (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps directed us to the wrong side of the complex. As a result the entry instructions didn't make sense. In the manual Meredith warned of that possible glitch and gave the alternative access instructions. 2. The condo is on the airport flight path. There are no flights at night so the noise didn't bother us at all. If you'll be spending a lot of time at the condo during the day and are especially sensitive to aircraft noise it could be a problem. 3. There is a private secure garage. It easily accomodated our mid-size rental. I'm not sure it could accomodate some of the colossal SUVs that are on the road. If you have an exceptionally large vehicle I suggest verifying with Meredith in advance how long the garage is.

  • Great Tempe location. Next to urban trails like Tempe town lake which also connects to the Papago Park trails. Great for walking or biking. Plenty of bike share stations nearby as well as bike racks. A couple blocks from Mill Avenue clubs that are mostly filled with ASU students on the weekend. There are are are panhandlers but they are not aggressive. Short drive to casinos and shoppings. The place has a great view and the complex is quite and clean as well as the condo. The pool is large but chilly. The place is near (sometimes under) the airport flight path, the freeway is across the park and rail a couple blocks away. You will here some light ambient noise inside but well sound proofed.

  • Meredith was great! She was quick with her responses to any questions I had. Would stay here again if ever in the area. Great location!

    jaime2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay for the weekend! It was walking distance to several shopping places, places to eat, and night life. Yet, it was far enough away from the main part of Tempe to still be incredibly quiet and private. It over looked the river, which made for a nice view at night. The neighborhood was safe, clean, and quiet. The place had every necessity covered, from towels to dishes, and everything in between that we could have possibly needed for a weekend away. We'd stay here again in the future, and highly recommend it for anyone who needs to travel to the Tempe, Az area.

    Brian2016-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Clean apartment. Perfect process for check-in. Perfect apartment description. Definitely great to have 2 bedrooms in the main floor and then one more downstairs. Great location. My family had a car, but this location would be perfect for someone using public transportation. It probably took us more from the Phoenix airport to the car rental center than from there to the location in Tempe.

This apartment is perfectly located. You're a short walk from all of Tempe's best restaurants and attractions. Arizona State University and Mill Ave (Tempe's dining district) are within a 10 minute walk. You only need to go across the street to enjoy a walk around Tempe Beach Park or Papago Park. If you want to venture out to downtown Phoenix, you can walk to the light rail station and take the train to catch a Diamondbacks game at Chase Field or or a concert at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The apartment is most comfortable for 4 people. However, upon request an air mattress and bedding can be made available for up to 6 guests total.
  • New and very clean condo in a great, central Tempe location. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, parking was effortless, and the coffee shop in the complex serves a decent breakfast selection. We had three full-sized fellas split between two beds and the couch and we were all comfortable. It's lacking the sort of kitchen amenities one expects in a place where someone actually lives, but for a basic, clean, seamless experience, this is a great find.

Across the street from Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Center for the Arts, and Tempe Beach Park. 10 minute walk to Mill Avenue. Note: There is no TV.
2 BR + 2 Bath + condo complex amenities. No TV. The complex has a decent gym, a hot tub, and a pool (heated from end of February through end of October). There are approximately 14 steps from the garage where you enter the condo to the main condo. There are also two steps from the living room area to the rest of the condo. The sectional in the living room is very comfortable but there is no pull-out couch there. It could accommodate 1 average to large-sized adult to sleep, two short adults, or two kids. There is instant coffee and sweetener, likely also some sort of dairy product for the coffee but no guarantees on that. I will not be there. There is someone local you can call in case of emergencies. I love my neighborhood because it is right on Tempe Town Lake and an easy walk to Tempe's best restaurants In addition to the light rail (~7-minute walk), there is bus service.
  • Andra was a great host! She communicated with us very well prior to our stay, and the information she provided to us was very thorough. We had everything we needed and we had no issues with our stay. We really loved the location! We certainly took advantage of the park across the street, the downtown area (which was within a 10 minute walking distance), and we even hiked up "A" Mountain to take in the view over Tempe. The accommodations were excellent! It didn't take us more than a few hours to settle in before it felt like home. We generally prefer to keep windows open, and the breeze through the condo was nice, but the airport is nearby and there is a street that runs in front of the place, so there is some noise. However, if you shut the windows, it really wasn't much of an issue. There also happened to be a big music festival going on just down the street during the weekend of our stay, but it didn't detract from our experience. I actually enjoyed being able to listen to some bands I like for free! We would certainly consider staying at Andra's place again!

  • What a marvelous home. We were enthralled with the view and never closed the blinds. Its just a short walk to the great restaurants downtown and to ASU. We loved walking the park and made several loops around the lake during our time there. The home is very comfortable including a firm bed and marvelous over-sized tub/shower. We had everything we needed to cook and even cooked a couple of meals for my son and his wife. Best set of pans I've ever used in a rental. The complex also has a really nice pool and spa. And having a garage was great too. You can't go wrong.

  • Andra has a wonderful place. It's got an incredible view to watch the sunrise and sunset. The decorations are beautiful and provides a very warm & cozy feeling. You can't beat the location with Tempe Beach and Mill Ave shops and restaurants all in walking distance (10 minutes or less!). We'd go back in a heartbeat, but his time for the full 2 weeks, not just 1!

    Kim2016-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Andra's home was lovely and spacious and comfortably close to several great spots. I would definitely come back again!

    Christine2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Andra's place is a perfect size for four adults. Everything is as advertised on the AirBnB site. It is walking-distance-close to some casual restaurants and a nice little brewery/pub. The view of the lake from the living room is very nice. The condo has its own little deck if you want to sit outside. The kitchen is stocked with almost anything you think you might need -- except a coffee maker, but the website tells you that, so we brought our own. No problems. No headaches. Just a great time had by the four of us. -- Bill and Pat from Boise

    Bill2017-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great. We enjoyed our time here as well as Andra's recommendations for the surrounding neighborhood. The place itself was easy to find and has GREAT access to major highways as well as local public transit. For dinner, most days, we just walked 5-10min away for dinner or drinks. The garage was perfect for our rental vehicle and we didn't have any issues at all getting in or out of the place. Great experience all around and we will try and rent again if possible!

    Nic2016-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Andra's place was the best place we've stayed in Tempe. It was very clean, centrally located, and had a beautiful view. We hope it's available for our future visits to the area.

We give their brunch a definite A+ grade, with delectable dishes like Cap’n Crunch French Toast, a Turkey Pastrami sandwich on a pretzel roll, and smoked salmon avocado toast. Just don’t be tardy for their weekday happy hour, which runs from 2pm to 5pm and includes specials on small bites and drinks. Desert Roots Kitchen 10-minute walk 414 South Mill Avenue, Suite 111 Price range: $$ When your inner meat lover objects to any meal that contains an unbalanced amount of vegetables, aka “rabbit food,” Desert Roots Kitchen is the place to go to prove that carnivorous part of you wrong. Serving globally-inspired, plant-based, cuisine, DRK will open your eyes to a whole new world of vegetable flavors that will, surprisingly, fill you up completely. From breakfast classics like burritos and bagel sandwiches to lunch choices like wraps and tacos, DRK will never get boring because their menu changes every single day. Yes, that’s right, there are endless, delicious combinations of veggies waiting to be consumed. Plus, the veggies are locally grown, so you can not only feel great about eating food that’s good for you, but food that’s good for the planet. So, why are you still in a place with fewer than 330 days of sun per year? The sights, sun, and flavor of this desert destination are waiting for you. Come experience Tempe from the best home base at Rio Salado.
