The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Located in a historic 1895 home—updated but with a few quirks: toilet paper goes in the trash (older pipes). Quiet space, no parties. Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.

A Zen retreat on a quiet dead end street, 4 mins drive from downtown. Perfect for a retreat, a quiet romantic get away for two, or for a family, or four close freinds. Enjoy nature, relax and see the cute town! This is a mid century private home with nice amenities, not a usual rental unit. The street is beautiful & backs up to a national forrest. There is another cabin next to this one, that sleeps two, that I also rent. NO Partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am.
