Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Margarets Bay

Probably out favorite AirBnB to date. We needed a bigger place than usual for the whole family - and this perfectly fit the bill. Huge, great kitchen, very comfortable, and very clean. Everything was A1. It only took us 24 minutes on average to get from here to Centennial Pool for our swim meet - totally worth the short drive to have a place that comfortably accommodated everyone. Would definitely stay here again if we need a similar size location in Halifax again.

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

Everything went smoothly and as expected. Helen was very communicative, and the air bnb provided everything that they said they would and more. Sad we couldn’t use the pool but understandable it was cold

Honestly, this place is gorgeous! I could have sat by the water for hours. But my family had too much fun catching up and playing games inside. Everything was perfect - clean and exactly as described. I can’t wait to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was great, and Dorreine was extremely responsive, accommodating and friendly. We asked to check in a bit early and there was no issue at all! The house was extremely clean and had everything you would need and more. Lots of extra linens and towels. The house is in a very nice neighbourhood and although busy was very quiet. Our family would definitely stay here again.

this place was as advertised. close to shops, restaurants, transit, parks. very walkable location and amenties near by. Suite was cosy and warm. quiet. Well appointed with stove and full size fridge. Sara was quick to respond with any inquiries. I would definitely stay here again.

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

Jeremy, Monique and I loved staying in your cozy 2 bedroom apt. It was close to everything (walking distance) the food and sight seeing around the downtown core were also good!! We always feel at home in Angela’s flat. Can’t think of a thing that has ever been lacking to make our visit completely comfortable. We love the neighbourhood which is remarkably quiet, especially considering how close it is to restaurants, public transit and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay!

Cheng was incredibly accommodating. She was attentive to all concerns, quick to respond and helpful in making sure our stay was as easy and comfortable as possible.

This apartment is really well equipped, functional and rather clean. The bed is extremely confortable and the smart TV offers everything you can think of ! But what's more important is that Jimmy reply almost immediately, is comprehensive and is paying close attention to its clients.

Susan’s place is perfect for a visit to Halifax. It’s a spacious 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the wonderful North End of the city close to world class restaurants like Bar Kismet. It’s a top quality apartment with a modern kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Susan is a great host, always responsive and helpful. It’s our second time staying there and we would recommend it unreservedly

Beautiful condo as described in the pictures. Reading area was well stocked. Weekend was not enough time to enjoy the books. Excellent location to explore the city.

We loved Jeanne’s condo. It was very comfortable and in a great location. Could walk around the little town of Mahone Bay, or enjoy the view from the balcony.

Had a great stay at Angela’s place. Very smooth check-in, Angela was very friendly and accommodating. For the apartment, the attention to detail was excellent. You can really tell this is a “home” that’s looked after well and has been lived in. Gizmos and amenities in all the places they should be, whether it was little hooks for towels, the kitchen scales/appliances/utensils or the clock in the bedroom. These are all small details, but really make it feel homely- everything seemed to be where it should be! Highly recommend!

Everything was just as it should be. Great views. Emily was prompt and helpful in providing a couple of extra things we requested. Very nice place for a winter get away!

Our stay at Sally’s was fantastic, we would definitely come back. We were 3 adults and a baby. Sally’s place was perfect for us; private, convenient, with all the amenities, a little backyard… very adapted for a family with a child. Sally was very responsive and flexible. The location in downtown Halifax was perfect to visit the site (everything was less than 10min away!) and the garage to park the car was a big plus considering all the construction in the city and around the appartement. We had a few issues with some appliances; the fridge was leaking inside on the top shelf and the dishwasher leaked on the floor when we started it, so we couldn’t use it. Minor issues that I’m sure Sally will fix for the next tenants. Thanks again for everything Sally.

Exactly like the photos. Spotless place. Stunning views. Morgan was also super flexible and understanding letting us check out a bit late on our last day.

Very convenient location for anyone needing to be close to hospital. 4 min walk! Hosts were very good to deal with and understanding when we made a mistake at checkout. Thank you for hosting us.
