Casa Rosie is a spacious two-bedroom holiday home set over two levels and is directly on the Lake front in the picturesque lakeside village of Sala Comacina. Registration number CIR:013203-CNI-00015
“Robbie is a gracious host! He showed us around the town and had breakfast items and prosecco for us. The apartment is very well appointed and the kitchen is nicely stocked. It’s right on the lake and you can swim from the small beach that is in front of the house. Beach towels are also provided! It’s a bit noisy during the day in summer because of proximity to be beach, but you will be outside enjoying the lake anyway. Do take advantage of a private parking for a fee nearby as streets are narrow and parking at the church is limited. If you plan to rent a boat, reserve as soon as you get there (or try calling the place called Hiring a Boat at the Comacina Island but located in Ossuccio). The two level apartment had plenty of space for our family of 4, the pictures make it look smaller. The shower had plenty supply of hot water. The view from top level is nice and there are a few waterfront restaurants nearby.”
CIR013203-CNI-00031 You'll be really welcome to Family Haven, a "pieds dans l'eau" spot facing Lake Como, with stunning Comacina Island view. It’s perfect for a couple with the great master suite; an ideal spot for family offering a lovely loft and 2 bathrooms; even suitable for 5/6 guests. It’s at 2nd floor of a village house, on 2 floors, bright and comfy, newly renewed. Come and enjoy its peace and charm!
“A beautiful apartment right on the lake, you literally can’t be any closer to it. The views and sounds are stunning. If you want to be woken by the sound of lapping water and church bells and look out to a sunrise over the mountains then book this place. We were a family of 2 adults an 18 and 13 year old looking for a quiet few days to chill. We visited in October so out of season so a lot quieter than summer months but it suited us. Still plenty of local amenities open. The apartment is reached by a network of tiny steep cobbled streets and alley ways until you reach the waters edge. There are a couple of benches here where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the lake come to life . The apartment is beautifully clean and well equipped with everything you need . The stair case is a very steep spiral ( you can use another staircase if you go up another flight outside the apartment) but there is a bathroom on both levels so you don’t need to use it unless going to bed. The loft space for the extra bed was great fun and well planned, again reached by a steep ladder but no problem for our kids, wouldn’t really recommend for young kids who might wake in the night ! Sofa beds downstairs create 2 extra singles. This place was perfect for us and I would definitely stay again as an older family or just as a couple. It’s wonderful here, the local bakery is friendly and great for breakfast brioche ( watch the road !) and the local bar was great for a pizza and beer on our first night. Parking is in a nearby free car park, we had no problem in October but imagine you might have to walk a little further in the summer. Manuela met us and gave us lots of great local tips and advice. Highly recommend this place.”
Loft Angelo is a bright and spacious loft-style apartment with panoramic vistas and a balcony offering truly superb views over Lake Como; with 'al fresco' seating ideal for soaking up the sun or relaxing with an evening ‘aperitivo’.
“We had a very lovely stay at Roberto’s, the views from the loft were even more stunning than the photos, such a beautiful area. Geraldine was there to welcome us and was a lovely friendly lady, introducing us to a local restaurant as well as to the ‘locals’ bar where we met Max & May who were very welcoming. We would definitely recommend Roberto’s place, it was very tidy and comfortable with everything we needed. His parents stayed for a few days downstairs whilst we were there, and they were very friendly and welcoming too, even giving us a Toblerone because it was from their home of Switzerland. A lovely relaxing week, waking up to that amazing view every morning, everyone must experience that!”
