“This cabin was a great place to stay to decompress for a few days. The location is wonderful; it's at the end of a mile long dirt road, so there's no traffic (and no noise). The cabin is spacious for two people. The eat-in kitchen was great for preparing simple meals; it had plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware. The bedroom had plenty of room to move about in; bathroom was clean and functional. There is a nice gas log fireplace in the bedroom that would be really nice on colder nights. We stayed primarily for the great location. You have access a put-in for Dragon's Run. It's a short 5-7 minute walk from where you park. You can explore a lot of the Run that you may not normally have easy access to. We explored upstream and downstream multiple times! If you like to kayak, this is an amazing area to paddle in!”
The Moore Cottage is a rustic-chic, fisherman's cottage. The cottage is less than a mile from Windmill Point Marina, and five miles from the town of White Stone. You will enjoy the views of amazing wildlife, boaters, the beach, and breath-taking sunsets all while sitting on the back porch. The Cottage is nestled on a cove overlooking Little Bay and the mouth of Antipoison Creek. Come check out one of the Northern Neck's best kept secrets!
“Michelle is a spectacular host! She happily accommodates me when I had a sudden flight change and she even gave me a curiosity call when some thunderstorms came along to be careful if I planned to drive over the Morris Bridge. She is an excellent host! As for the place, it is a perfect "rivah" getaway. Everything you need and fun pieces of history all around. I enjoyed using the paddleboard to go out to the white sand island which is absolutely beautiful. I also enjoyed runs down to Wind Mill point. The entire area is very beautiful and peaceful with incredible sunsets. I highly recommend staying!”

“Vicki, who was a member of our party staying at Urbanna Vacation Station, provided the following feedback that so totally reflected how we all felt that I had to include it the review: "Urbanna Vacation Station was the perfect lodging for our party of five adults. The apartment was immaculate, and amenities were in abundance. Access to the apartment was clearly explained, and the owners’ preferences were displayed prominently on the refrigerator. Pat and Dennis provided ample information for guests in the form of a well-organized booklet full of leaflets about the history of the area, as well as sightseeing, dining, and shopping opportunities. We talked to Dennis at the beginning of one of our forays into the beautiful Northern Neck, and he gave us personalized recommendations for historic churches to visit, as well as favorite restaurants. All in all, I highly recommend this apartment for parties of three to five looking for a central location from which to explore the beautiful landscape of this historic area." We would certainly stay at Urbanna Vacation Station again if we were to return to the area. Pat and Dennis are great hosts, providing a well-appointed, spacious and clean apartment as well as access to their deck and pier.”
