Pedro described the arrival in detail to us in advance and was always responsive and responded quickly. It also had very good tips. Upon arrival, we got fresh oranges from our own garden, which we also enjoy 2 days after the visit. Thank you for that! There is a stove in the property and an air conditioning / heater. There is a double bunk bed downstairs and a double bed upstairs. We slept in the double bed. Maybe it's important to know you can't sit upright when you're up. It's also a little clairvoyant but we had Oropax with us and slept well. Thanks again Pedro !

The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.

I had an excellent 2 week stay. Jinhua is a great host, always responsive and very kind, from the beginning to the end. The place is just as the photos show, with everything needed to have a home away from home. The property is really well located, with easy access to major roadways, groceries, restaurants, and yet it feels quiet and private. I had dedicated parking steps from my door, so there was no worry about the rental car getting scratched or finding a spot. It was quiet and peaceful, private and beautiful. I can tell Jinhua cares for her guests, but also for the property itself. It’s just a good, healthy, and happy atmosphere. I loved that cork tree too, very special as a centerpiece of the property, and unmatched in my travels. I recommend this place and hope to return. Thank you!

Ruben was very welcoming and kind and extremely helpful! He had a bottle of wine and water waiting for us. He went and picked a huge bag of fresh oranges and lemons and gave them to us! We made fresh juice which was delish! He brought gifts for 2 people in our group who had birthdays! He taught my husband Paddle and took him to a court and played with him and 2 friends. He even gave us info on places to see and things to do in Albufeira which was our next destination. We stayed in the “Greenhouse” which was perfect for 2 people. Our daughter’s family stayed in one of the other houses. It was a fabulous 3 weeks together. The horses across the street, the cork trees surrounding, the red bud trees, and wisteria were beautiful! They have a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, a trampoline, a beautiful swimming pool, a ping pong table, and a game room with a pool table. Anything you needed, Ruben was there with it. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this stay was. Thank you!
