Lovely place to feel at home. Good distribution of beds. Quirky and charming old house. Lovely location - there is a hiking trail directly to Ballen. Short distance to larger city with good shopping.

Vicki responded quickly to our questions throughout the process and is a great landlord. The house was as shown in the listing. We enjoyed the short distance to the beach and the view from the living room to the wildlife out there is absolutely amazing. We can only recommend a stay here. Helle

The stay was very nice. We had a very cozy week in front of the fireplace. Aarhus is around the corner, so we were able to make two trips there. Inge and Bent also showed us current activities on site and brought us missing groceries at short notice. We'll be back any time.

Beautiful little place!

We spent a long weekend at the end of January in the beach house with our two children (3 and 6 years). The house is incredibly cozy and stylishly furnished. The location is a dream, right by the sea and quietly located, at the same time everything is easily accessible. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful week in Denmark. The house is situated in a park-like area with summer cottages, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The beach is just a short walk away. The house itself has two comfortable bedrooms, along with an additional sleeping space in the attic. It's modernly furnished, providing a pleasant and comfortable stay. While many amenities in the area require a short drive, this quickly becomes part of the experience. Lars is a friendly and attentive host, always quick to respond. He communicates easily and offers helpful advice about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Denmark, thanks to both the house and our host. Definitely worth a return visit!

Nice old cottage. Has 1000 small things in it that one can find something relatable. Has no WiFi but games console kept kids engaged. When we entered the house it had a musty smell like old cottages. I wasn’t expecting that type of smell. We opened windows and doors until we felt it’s ventilated enough. Beach front so perfect for summers. Sandra is very helpful and quickly responded to queries such as if the house had heating and how to get that working. Although summer, weather had turned cold and rainy so needed heating. Overall great stay for the night. Comfortable beds. Big bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen.

We had a very nice stay, thank you! The apartment is really nice, comfortable beds, large cozy sofa, amazing views. Especially great is that there is plenty of space where the kids can play. The surroundings are great and many nice excursion destinations are easily accessible. We didn't have bikes with us, the area would be great too! Mikkel communicated friendly, quickly and easily, so everything worked out very easily. We are happy to recommend!

This is a great location with a real ‘home from home’ feel. The flat was spacious and came with everything you would need for a comfortable holiday! The hosts were extremely proactive before and during our stay and helped with any questions we had! Thank you!!!

Sidsel is a fabulous host and her home is super authentic - an actual lived in and well loved home. The location is perfect. She was very helpful to us in a particular circumstance where we needed to call a taxi but technology wouldn’t allow it. Thank you sidsel!

I stayed in Maria’s apartment for four days together with my family and we had a lovely time. The apartment is situated in a very nice area of Aarhus and is within walking distance to the city centre. It is very modern and has two bedrooms with double beds. We had beautiful days in the charming apartment of Mette. The photos reflect the apartment well. Everything is very well decorated, tasteful and cozy. Location is perfect, everything you need is around the corner and the neighborhood just the most beautiful in Aarhus. Mette is a great host, always available and very responsive. This host was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. There was friendly and responsive communication. The apartment was easy to find and was spotlessly clean and close to the sailing centre which the reason for our visit. There was a nice bakery, a few restaurants and a supermarket close by. The walk into town was a reasonable walk but there is a bus stop close by, that takes you straight in. The apartment itself is very cosy and perfect for 2 people. We could easily cook meals and wash clothes. It had everything we needed and we felt very safe and secure. The balconies were lovely and the view is really nice. The neighborhood is very modern and the architecture is fabulous. We had a great 2 week stay here! Thank you!

We stayed 2 nights in April, a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. On a trip to experience Aarhus. The apartment is incredibly beautiful, as a neighbor to a beautiful beech forest, on a quiet residential street. The air was filled with birds chirping. You can walk to the city center through the forest in 45 minutes. By car about 10 minutes to Den Gamle By and 20-25 minutes to the city center. Thus relatively central. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with all the necessities that could be missing, including in the kitchen. Really nice beds. French balconies from all rooms, overlooking the sea and/or forest. We were very well received by Adam and Helena, who were great for instructing and guiding. It was even prepared with drinking, etc. upon arrival. All in all, a lovely stay and can only recommend it to others. We hope to come again, another time!

We felt very comfortable at Lonas place during our time in Aarhus. The apartment has everything you need and more (lots of towels, kitchen utensils, blankets,...). I especially appreciated how clean the apartment was. From there it is an easy walk to the city centre or the public transport. I highly recommend staying at Lonas place.

Very nice apartment with a beautiful view on the sea, and in a really nice part of Århus.

Lovely centrally located apartment. The apartment is as shown in the photos and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. Melike was great at communicating and made sure we could find our way to the car park. If we come to Aarhus another time, we will definitely choose to stay here again.
