I highly and entusiastically recommend Nanni’s Penthouse, located in the safe and central neighbourhood of “Foce”. Just a bus ride away from main attractions like Il Centro Storico or Le Strade Nuovo, and close to the water and the Corso Italia where a short walk will take you to beautiful Bocadasse. Spacious, comfy and clean, the absolute jewel is the terrace that wraps around the corner of the building. I can’t say enough about that beautiful terrace. There were days when I just stayed home to loll around out there; it’s that nice! Just what the Doctor ordered! Lots of furniture to lounge on, or eat a meal or even hang your laundry! The kitchen is fully functional with everything you need to prepare a meal, or any kind of coffee — or eat your take home treats from the gazillion really fabulous focaccerias and panetterias or from the many small grocery stores close by. Nanni is super friendly and responsive - often answering my texts within minutes. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Lia's stay was simply perfect. the apartment was equipped with all kinds of comforts: kitchen appliances, bathroom, TV, wifi. everything. And in addition to the objective beauty of the rooms, there is also impeccable cleanliness to be mentioned. When I arrived she was extremely kind and helpful and I think more than that I could not have asked. Thank you!!!!!!!

The accommodation was a special experience. The apartment is in the middle of the village. Since it's not touristy, you can really experience what it's like to live among the Italians. The people in the village were very friendly and helpful. There is a very good caterer, with fresh rolls, wine, pasta, charcuterie, vegetables, fruit, etc. There is also a bar where you can drink coffee and a pizzeria, which was not open when we were there. Within close driving distance are several fine restaurants. You will hear the sound of the upstairs neighbors, but this was not disturbing otherwise. The apartment is nicely refurbished and offers everything needed. There is a balcony and a garden where you can sit in the sun, it would be nice if there were also photos of this on the website, as well as of the view. Nicolette is very helpful and always available for tips. We have made some beautiful walks nearby, including to Monte Antola from Bavastrelli!! We'd love to come back!

Claudia is an ideal, very helpful host. He had a lot of excellent ideas that we used not only when visiting the area but also for transportation, shopping, etc. Her apartment is where you can feel at home. You'll find everything you need in the few days you'll spend there in the apartment. Elsewhere, this is not the case, but here is everything: extra virgin olive oil, coffee, freshly kept foil; extra towels, extra blankets and pillows; body wash, disc for makeup, in a word, everything you need. Spacious, tidy, bright apartment on the terrace when you drink your morning coffee, you can listen to the sound of the stream. Genoa is about 30 minutes away by bus nearby. (Ticket can be bought here if you don't want to buy online: "Bar Botto" = Caffetteria, Pasticceria) Parking place 2 steps from the apartment, there was always space. In a word: we had a great time at Claudia's place, whose apartment I recommend to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, tranquil environment! "ERA TUTTO PERFETTO!!"
