Beachfront holiday rentals in San Diego County

The Bee Hive was so cute. We had so much fun. We love Encinitas. We parked our full-size suv in the designated parking spot and didn’t use it the whole time we were there. We walked to the beach, we walked to get coffee in the mornings, we walked to shops and we even did d 2 different escape roomed on 2 different days. We can’t wait to go back!

Space was beautiful and Wendy was super helpful! We stay in Oceanside every February and I would certainly stay here again!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Great location close to the water and walking distance to restaurants and lots to do. The parking was very convenient which I appreciated. The furniture was comfortable and the linens were clean. Lots of chairs and beach toys available for use as well. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond when I had a question. I had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Tina’s place was lovely and perfect for a family reunion. There were 10 of us (and a dog!) gathering together and the house was a perfect amount of space for all of us! The rooms were great and met everyone’s needs, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more to make meals at home, and the location was amazing to go on walks, dog beach, and target runs. The backyard was great for hanging out and there were plenty of extras to have a fun beach day. Tina was responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! If you’re looking for a place to gather people and make fun memories, this is your spot! Thank you so much Tina for a great stay! :)

Staying at Dan's beach house in Oceanside was a dream. As a single mom with a small child it fit perfectly into my needs. It was close to a bike path, walkable to the ocean to view the sunset, and had endless beach amenities, which made packing lighter. The outside space is lovely. We played on the grass and sat outside to enjoy snacks and games. The garage space felt like a treasure trove of bikes, chairs, beach toys, umbrellas... anything you needed was within reach. It was also a safe space to store the scooters and child bike I brought. The space was clean, airy, bright, and had everything we needed. What I love about the location was access to a bike path along the train. This helped avoid car traffic on our way to the pier. And there were some delicious restaurants for breakfast and dinner just a short drive away. Honestly, we enjoyed south Oceanside for this reason. I can't recommend this place enough. Best value and experience of Airbnb yet! We'll be back for sure!

Millie’s place was at a perfect location walking distance to the beach, Millie was very helpful when needed. Would definitely come back. Sea world, the Marina and old town San Diego worked perfect for our stay.

This was our first stay on the southern California coast and high up on cliffs overlooking the ocean - and it was all that we hoped for. The photos are excellent, providing a fine indication of the home and surroundings. The furniture was comfortable, both interior and exterior, and the king bed, pillows and sheets in the primary bedroom were delightful. As the photos show you are not literally on the beach but over it. The sunsets (we stayed in January) were divine. We spent much time gazing at the sublime views of the endless ocean. It is a long walk or rather climb down to the beach, at about 100 or so steps once you get to the access stairs, but it was great exercise climbing up. During low tide the beach was walkable and fun, but during high tide you would have to walk on a stone beach. The neighborhood was interesting to walk and the pickleball courts in great condition. The location is very convenient. Thanks to Stephanie our host for great communication and support.

Do not hesitate booking this stay for your next vacation. The absolute perfect location, most charming little beach condo, INSANE VIEW!! Close to everything you need in the sweetest town. Steven is amazing and extremely helpful

Probably the best Airbnb my wife and I have ever stayed in. Amazing location with a spectacular view. Easy check in and when you walk through the door you are met with an incredible home with peaceful music and super clean living space. Only con was the elevator situation (only one working and takes a min to get to you) but meh no big deal. We never wanted to leave the Airbnb that’s how awesome it was. Great location as well and right next to the beach. Thanks for one awesome trip and home.

Hard to find the HOA office upon first visit, but once you check in with security it was very easy. Great location, nice unit for an older complex, and prime area extremely close to the beach. Key pick up and drop off was simple, however the parking for this specific unit is very very tight. Thankfully our rental car was small, but it was between a support column and the wall. We loved that that they had chairs, beach equipment and towels available. We had a great stay and would recommend this unit for your stay in Oceanside. Conveniently located to Legoland (15 mins w/ traffic) and very close to some very excellent restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay! The grandsons loved the pool and the home. The Koi pond was a huge success. The amenities were perfect, the check in staff was very kind and helpful! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

I absolutely loved staying on the boardwalk. I knew what I was getting into - there are people running by the place and occasional noise at all hours but being right on the boardwalk is well worth it. Parking isn’t easy as the listing described but I had zero issue parking on Pacific Beach Drive just a couple blocks away any time I wanted. I look forward to calling Catherine’s spot my little beach getaway again!

These were amazing days in an outstanding place. The house is e exactly as described and the location is perfect if you want to sit and relax looking the sunset. Couldn’t be more appropriate to what we were looking for. House was very clean and had everything we need.

The Pelican suite was absolutely exceptional. Everything was of the highest quality and the unobstructed view was breathtaking. We appreciated that it was meticulously clean, spacious, and private. We were able to check-in early. The instructions provided were clear and concise. Nancy is extremely helpful and overall, a consummate professional. We had booked one of her properties the previous year and therefore knew we wouldn't be disappointed with this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our downtime and would definitely book this property again. Thank you!

This place is literally on the water. I would say no more than one minute from the back door to your toes hitting water, that’s if you walk slowly. So peaceful and beautiful yet totally walkable to so many restaurants and shops. It’s like having the best of both worlds. We went for our sons eighth birthday, and had an amazing time! The host is extremely responsive and ensures that you are well taken care of and that you enjoy your stay. Highly recommend do not hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed.

Extremely responsive management. Proactively reached out to check us in early. Charming house right on the water, you can dip in the ocean during low tide (or high tide if you're adventurous!). Enjoyed every bit of our stay and would definitely go again. 10/10 would recommend

This was our second stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint! House is spacious and clean, has all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. The private beach with the palapa made you feel like you are at a resort! We saw dolphins and lots of wildlife from the balcony. We even had a Seal 🦭come up onto the adjacent public beach for a bit before returning to the water. We hope to enjoy this property year after year!
