David was excellent picking us up at the airport in the evening taking us to the grocery store then the place. He drove us to all our excursions and helped us plan full days. Very friendly and a wealth of knowledge really appreciate his help.

We started our trip in Belize at Howler House and it was the best decision. The house was so unique and right on the banks of the river. We spent every night on the deck in the hammock and chairs taking in the surrounding nature. My kids loved the new pool - and spent a few hours there playing. The biggest highlight was the wildlife. There is a small crocodile in the tiny lagoon near the cabins. We ironically named him ‘Big Al’. We also saw a family of howler monkeys right outside our place - swinging from the trees right off our deck. We stayed in the older blue cabin (there are now newer options). And while it wasn’t the fanciest - it met all our needs and felt so different. A huge thanks to Shanna for being a great host. For those who love adventure I cannot recommend Howler House enough!

Lisa’s place is very spacious and clean. It is located in a small village, best for nature lovers. A big plus was that the Bird’s Eye View Lodge is a 3 minute walk down the road. The managers there practically adopted us as external guests. We ate our meals there, took tours, got advice and enjoyed the great location right on the lagoon. Without the Lodge our stay would have been less pleasant, for sure. So, we got the best of both places: Lisa’s nice spacious and peaceful place, and the amenities of the Lodge.

Stayed here multiple times. Host is always fantastic!!

Amazing place to stay near tu Altun Ha Mayan ruins

This bnb was nice and peaceful with the sounds of birds and geckos rather than city. Convenient to many attractions and lots of cool critters to discover on the grounds. There were even nesting birds at the back of the property! Paula was very responsive and helpful. All around a great stay!

The peaceful river setting can’t be beat … Orlando snd all the staff were welcoming and very pleasant to exchange conversation with…Being able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at their sister location prior to starting your day is an added bonus, and an on site restaurant for lunch & dinner awaits along the rivers edge.

We had a great stay at John’s place in Orange Walk. The apartment was super clean and the location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again!
