There is a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor barbecue (you must bring your own lighter and charcoal), a fridge, and a gas hob/cooker. There are plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. There are also frying pans and saucepans. There is no water supplied, so we will fill a water bottle with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing up. Outdoor toilets have been set up outside the cabin. Rent of bed linen 150,- per set per person At 120,- per bag.

Bowling alley, gym, shopping street and shopping opportunities within 2 km. Electric car chargers (2.4kW and 7.2kW) can be used by appointment. Extra costs are included. Only paying guests are allowed to stay in the apartment.

The Cowboy Cabin in Sandnes

Our very tiny Cowboy Cabin was built after repeated visits to the motel The Old West Inn, in Willits, CA (USA). The house was first planned as a playhouse, then it became more advanced and has served as a playhouse and guest house. Electricity and wifi are installed, cabin toilet and cabin sink (there is no shower). There is a fire pit, sundeck on the roof with sun from morning to evening, if the sun is shining. The cabin is tiny, but has many smart solutions for good well-being and coziness.

Sunny, Spacious, and Urban Apartment

Welcome to our quiet but central oasis. Here you are only a stone's throw from the city, with bus and train connections right outside the door (about 5 min). This apartment is also only a 30 minute beautiful park walk from the heart of the city, if you prefer a walk. If you have a car, you can also leave it here for free. The apartment gives you easy access to trips to the Royal Park (15 min), the Pulpit, Stavanger / Sandnes center, and much more - all this while having a rural life.

Idyllic house by the lake close to Preikestolen.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Natural 1 bedroom apartment

If you want to experience Rogaland, Foss Eikeland in Sandnes is a good starting point for day trips to Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten, Jærstrender and Kongeparken, or a walk in nice hiking areas just outside the door. The apartment is new in 2020 and contains a living room, kitchen, bedroom with wardrobe and bathroom. There is both sleeping space and dining table space for four. The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and stove as well as TV and wireless broadband.

Preikestolen 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from previous guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.

Enjoy the beauty of Lysefjorden and the surroundings. Great area for hiking. Ask us for advice! We've got several good hikes and interesting sites to recommend! 🙂 Our listing is perfect for two persons. We also welcome families with kids, but are not able to host larger groups. For groups of adults, maximum four persons. We open up for 2027 reservations around Christmas/New Year. Returning guests are welcome to contact us any time.

There is a short distance to grocery stores and good public transport such as buses, trains and boats to get around the region. The place has free parking. But not electric car charging. Beautiful views over the city and the sea. Outdoor area, garden furniture and barbecue facilities.

My place is close to public transportation, with a direct bus to the airport. 13 min drive from the airport.
