Beachfront holiday rentals in Sandy River Beach

This was such a delightful, peaceful & beautiful place to stay. Shelby was extremely responsive & helpful. I appreciated that she went the extra mile to alert me to the Aurora Borealis & encourage me to see it from the point. When the power went out b/c of a local car accident, she kept me updated with information about cause & when power was expected to return & provided flashlights & a special battery powered lightbulb to provide light. I couldn't have asked for more!

This cottage is delightfully cozy in the winter and very charmingly decorated. It’s not just run of the mill decor. The lighting setup is especially great and was put together very thoughtfully. I really enjoyed being IN the spaces that have been created in the cottage - there are several different seating areas for reading a book or sharing a meal or hanging out. The location of the cottage is spectacular with beautiful views from the windows as well as the private garden, private porch overlooking the bay, and more. Fabiola leaves many helpful instructions (often amusing!) and also gives lots of recommendations about the area. In addition to that she is super welcoming, always available, and clearly wants her guests to enjoy themselves. She also lets the guests have privacy. I’m sure the cottage and garden are even better in summer simply because one can spend more time outdoors, but winter has its own beauty in Maine and the cottage is a wonderful place to experience it from.

It's our second time staying here, and we again had a wonderful time catching up on literature, soaking up some sun on the porch, and breathing in the salty air in this beautifully decorated home. Many fantastic nature adventures are just a short drive away. Julie and Rich are responsive and gracious hosts.

Allen is very nice & very helpful of recommendation of things to do. His place is peaceful & relaxing.

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

Gorgeous location and very functional home. We were there during winter and loved the frozen water and lovely surroundings. Took nice walks. Look forward to coming back in summer!

What a wonderful quiet place if it is what you are looking for. A place nearby a lot of things to visit. We enjoyed it. The place is as described and is really a place where I would love to go back. The apartment is fully equipped and really sunny too.

Waking up to the serene views of the St. Croix River from the bedroom, and seeing the water from the kitchen and living room, was the highlight of each morning. The location couldn’t be more perfect for us, right on the water! Than you for having us again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! We came up for a friend’s wedding and loved the area so much we are already talking about coming back next year. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. View was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

I’m not one for taking a lot of time to write a review, but this place is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Clean, beautiful, peaceful, private, and the attention to details is amazing. More than we ever expected, this place is amazing!

We booked this space for my parents from South Africa and they had a delightful stay at Eastport. The hospitality from our host,Janet, enhanced our experience. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and we could not wish for a more attentative host. The unit was pristine clean and beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We experienced Nicole’s summer home this year for our annual friends group vacation and we will absolutely be back. The home is expansive and has plenty of room to socialize as well as have time to one’s self. The heated pool is a delight and the grounds are well taken care of. There are wonderful views from almost every window in the home and a great east coast vacation town with plenty of things to do is only a few minutes away by car. Three girlfriends and I stayed at Hillside for a week. The setting and location were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and I loved walking the trail. The house was roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend!!

One of the best places we have ever stayed, with one of the best hosts. The home is thoughtful and peaceful, Arnold and his wife have done a beautiful job at cultivating a relaxing and restful environment. The scenery and area is amazing, perfect central location for exploring lots of different parts of Maine, or the house/land is good enough for a trip where you just stay in for a week. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, hope to be back sooner than later.

We loved our stay at the cottage! We are native Mainers and the Steuben/Milbridge area is one of our go-to locations for relaxation. The cottage was private, peaceful, and the views were amazing! Being right on the water was a nice perk and we spent some time on the rocks when the tide was out. The cottage has wonderfully comfortable furniture and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on! It is also one of the cleanest cottages we have stayed in as well. It felt very much like home! Teresa was in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was great to know she was there to answer any questions we may have had. We will definitely stay again!!!

This place is amazing! So cozy and so comfortable! The lake was beautiful and we made plenty of use of the fire pit and kayaks. Stephen was so kind and responsive and made asking questions easy. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Thank you Mary and Noel! We had a great week balanced between exploring Acadia and chilling on the porch watching the tide and the birds. It was exactly what we needed. The house had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen, which we made lots of use of. Highly recommended.

This home is just lovely. The town is very small and you need to drive 10-15 miles to the nearest "large" town to get groceries of any consequence. That being said, get what you need ahead of time and just enjoy the GORGEOUS surroundings. A marvelous place to decompress. There is no TV and no radio reception which we loved. We were able to buy lobster right off a boat and everything you need to cook and eat them is provided. I very much like that the shower has what you need in neat push button bottles mounted on the wall. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. Can't say enough about the spectacular views. Watching the lobster/fishing boats go in and out and hearing the rumble of the engines was great. The home is close enough that you could use it for your base to visit Acadia Nat Park. Don't miss going to Winter Harbor. Small but some good art, good coffee shop, and a super general store. You can also catch a ferry over to Bar Harbor from there.

Very clean, nice lake view, and is close to Acadia. Wish we had more time here! Highly recommend :)

Very cool yurt on a kelp farm! Right on the water and the chairs overlooking the bay for the sunset was worth the couple nights in itself. Trey is there to meet you and show you around the property. There were also very friendly property dogs that loved to say hello! The bathroom and shower were in a separate building but was clean and just a few feet from the yurt. There were windows in the yurt that make for a nice breeze through the yurt. The kitchen amenities made making coffee and heating up food a breeze. The host had great information about trails in the area and food recommendations.

Stunning views, wonderfully comfortable with so much charm. Loved playing the piano with friends and the kitchen space was fantastic!
