I was possibly the worst guest ever- booking last minute not communicating properly then turning up four hours early. All my own fault. Eden and Craig took it all in their stride, welcomed me and were full of useful information and recommendations. They describe the place accurately- it’s beautiful and hand crafted- i loved it- the location is magical. if you are looking for hotel style accommodation in a place that looks like everywhere else then you are better off booking a holiday inn or similar. I have used Airbnb for a decade across 20 countries now. This stay embodied the magic of Airbnb. If you want to stay with a creative and hospitable people for an unforgettable few nights in stunning romantic surroundings - then this is for you. It fed my soul. I’ll never forget it. Alex and Nuby's place was great! I rented the house for Fri/Sat/Sun because my volunteer fire crew had a training at the nearby Ben Lomond training center and we didn't want to commute 90 minutes each way on training days! Alex and Nuby were SUPER flexible. When half our crew (4 additional people) had their accommodations fall through, Alex and Nuby allowed all 7 of us to stay in the house. There was a fold-out sofa and they brought in extra cots so everyone would have somewhere to sleep. They gave us a tour of the place when we arrived, were super responsive on AirBNB texts and generally let us have the run of the place. The house is VERY nice and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after long days of hard training. I will definitely plan to stay again in the future, when we have trainings nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was amazing—perfect for our trip back to Palo Alto for a school reunion. The host was incredibly helpful and always available when we needed anything. We traveled with kids, and the space was ideal for families, with plenty of board games and a large movie screen that everyone enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again!

Delia’s private studio was a little oasis! The hot tub in the garden was the highlight for me. Soaking while listening to the birds chirp and watching the sun beams dance through the trees was something I will never forget. Delia made sure that we had fresh bathrobes and all the supplies necessary to easily light a fire in the fire pit. She was very responsive in her communication. Even though my booking was very last minute and I had a some questions, Delia was so kind and professional. She made us feel right at home. What a sweet little getaway!

Brigitte and Glen were wonderful hosts! I enjoyed my stay so much and loved getting to know them. They gave me great advice about the local area, and the morning breakfast was such a great way to start the day. I hope to stay here again some day!

It is always a pleasure to stay at Delane‘s place. I have stayed here multiple times and would absolutely stay here again.

We had an amazing time here. We stayed with our 3 year old son and he had a great time playing with the toys provided and exploring the property. Staying in the caboose was a unique experience and one we would love to do again. Pat was very responsive to any of our questions and available for anything we needed during our stay. We would love to come back and stay someday.
