At times, it can get a little slick.

Bedrooms include white noise machines and earplugs to help with normal traffic during commute hours on our scenic road. The condo is an 800 sq. ft. apartment located above our working shop & is separate from our home, w/ a hot tub you reserve. The main open loft space has a king bed & single sofa sleeper. There is a separate bedroom space w/ a full bed. It has a small bathroom & kitchen. The condo & our home are on 2 acres with lush trees & close to vineyards, such as, Coria, Willamette Valley, and Ankeny & beautiful parks, a wildlife refuge, & rivers. Our 2 dogs will greet you upon arrival. Dogs ok. No cats

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
