The Gatehouse is part of the Palacio de Hualle, a 17th Century manor estate. It is a pretty and very confortable house, full of light and with views of the green fields with grazing horses. With a big living-dining room, a lovely outdoor eating area and two bedrooms , it is perfect for a family of four. In Hualle, a tiny rural hamlet, yet in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only a fifteen minute drive to villages of Comillas and Santillana or to beaches of Oyambre and Gerra.

Spacious stone house with a walled garden in a rural area surrounded by meadows and small dairy farms. Relax and enjoy the varied scenery, charming villages and local gastronomy. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, hikers, etc. Puente Viesgo is 5 minutes away by car (spa, El Castillo cave and the Via Verde del Pas, a path along the disused railway line). The nearest big town is Torrelavega - a 15 minute drive. Santander and its beautiful beaches are just 40 minutes away and Bilbao 1h15.

A nest in the mountains

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.
