The house, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, is the result of the reconstruction of a 19th century winery and offers the essential facilities for a peaceful holiday. Casa da Oliveira (Casa das Oliveiras-G. Maps) is close to the village of Mesão-Frio (+/- 2 km), the gateway to Douro Vinhateiro. An old house, prior to 1950, was restored and maintains some of the original stone walls. It has 1 bedroom, a toilet, a living room with a sofa bed and an equipped kitchen, AC, TV, Wi-Fi and a barbecue grill outside. The views are magnificent over the region's vineyards and the Douro River. Excellent choice for a few days of rest, a week or a weekend.
