The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week at the "Old Painters House". Already upon arrival, it becomes clear: the location is an absolute dream. Quiet location, right on the water and off the small country road, great for unwinding. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. Especially the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows appealed to us. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns geese – right from the bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small dock to Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. The next rolls are a bit away, but of the best quality. Conclusion: A wonderful holiday home with a very special atmosphere, in the middle of a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

Beautiful house, wonderful and very quiet neighborhood by the water itself. Thank you for letting us live here Holida and Chris are great hosts, they were very helpful and quick to answer the question. The house was clean and everything you needed. It felt like home. Perfectly spacious house with beautiful garden in a beautiful location. Everything is present and Stan and Nicole we also do everything we can to make you feel at home. In low and for season a beautiful and quiet place on the island. Everything within walking distance ... Recommended!

Was very pleasant and friendly the stay. The area was very quiet and rural for spring. Beach 20 min drive. We feel comfortable and would like to come back.

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. What can I say: Our stay was absolutely great! The house is even more beautiful than the pictures and really a place to feel good. The furnishings are great, very cozy and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. It was wonderfully quiet, perfect for a relaxing time. We were particularly impressed by how helpful and friendly the hosts were – we were helped incredibly quickly with any concerns. All in all: a fantastic place with great hosts – we'd love to come back!
