Half-timbered house in Wehlen - Apartment

The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Attic Apartment

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

Renovated apartment on the 2nd floor of a historic half-timbered house on the outskirts of Sebnitz. The house is located on the edge of the forest and a stream. The hiking areas of Saxon Switzerland are about 10 km away and can be easily reached by car, bus or train. The bus station is in front of the house, the train station is about 1 km away. Riding stable 100 m (riding lessons can be arranged), shopping 500 m, Sebnitz city center 3 km, Dresden 50 km. Bikers welcome.
