Nearby to many natural beauty spots, including the Quantock hills, Steart Marshes and the Jurassic coastline at Kilve beach (ideal for fossil hunters).

The Piggery is a tranquil, stand-alone wood-cabin in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Ideal for short breaks for those who want somewhere quiet and like to get out and about. Situated on our organic small-holding, it has a kingsize bed, ensuite, a TV, wifi and kitchennette facilities - kettle, microwave, fridge. We're 8 mins from the M5, with Taunton, Glastonbury, Street and Wells a few miles drive. Our village has a pub that serves excellent food and a convenience store 2 miles away.

The Stableblock at Gothelney Farm

In the Somerset countryside, the Stableblock is part of Gothelney Farm - a family run farm, focusing on producing food for people that is mindful of both their health & the health of our ecosystem & climate. The fields around the Stableblock are home to our pasture-fed rare breed pigs & also grow cereals used by local bakers, including at the Field Bakery - situated just next to the Stableblock! The Piggery at Cradlebridge Farm

We are pleased to offer our refurbished conversion which in its previous life was an open barn, pig sty and engine house. It has been updated to provide a comfortable setting suitable for a relaxing getaway. Guests have their own entrance hall, large sitting room with wood burner, snug, dining room, and fully fitted kitchen. Spacious bedroom with shower room. There is a private outside seating area and garden, but you may choose to explore the open countryside which is all around.

The coast is five minutes drive away. This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders, migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
